I was contacted by Jonathan about 10 days ago via Ring finders , he had just lost his Platinum wedding band whist enjoying a family day out at West Wittering beach in West Sussex .
I told him I was able to help recover his ring , as parking is only by pre booking the earliest he could get was the 30th June !!
I met Jonathan on site early this morning, his face dropped when he saw the area of beach his ring was lost on , as all the sand ( around 2ft deep had been scrapped down to hard pan , only just turned my Equinox on and had a small target immediately which turned out to be an rusty bottle cap, as I bent down to retrieve it my eye saw a silver coloured ring a few inches away laying in about 1/4 inch of fine white sand , I picked the ring up and asked Jonathan if this was his lost wedding ring , he confirmed it was , he was astounded the ring was able to be found after all the tonnes of sand had been removed , my motto is “ if you don’t look you will never find “ , another overjoyed person reunited with their lost ring thanks to Ring finders .com

Ring Lost In Tampa Park. Recovered By SRARC.

Daniella was spending an afternoon by the lake on a local Tampa park when she swatted a mosquito away and watched her ring fly off. She found our SRARC Ring Finders website and contacted Howard Metts for help. A hunt was organized for the next day with Bill Gallant, Howard Metts, and Ed Osmar responding. Forty minutes into the hunt Howard came up with the ring coaxing the ring out of the grass with his pin pointer. Daniella was amazed we were able to find her ring and very appreciative to our SRARC hunters. Great job guys!

Lost wedding ring on soccer field, Maitland, Fl….Found!

Gabby called me yesterday and asked for help finding her husbands lost wedding ring on a full size soccer field. I told her I was up for the challenge and little did I know how tough it would actually be. Her husband, Christian, was not able to join us but he had explained what position he plays and where he spent most of the time during his practice. The first day I set up flags and cones and covered over half of the field carefully grid searching each area. Five and a half hours worth and the temperatures were in the mid 90’s and although I was taking care to stay hydrated the humidity did wear me down.

The next day I returned to finish covering the rest of the field and I was beginning to wonder if maybe someone had picked it up already. Again it was hot, humid and muggy but I was determined to finish what I had started. And part of what drove me to find this lost wedding ring was the fact that Christian and Gabby have only been married for a little over one month! (The first day while I was searching the field, Gabby’s mother, sister and cousin came out to walk the field, hoping to eyeball the ring and we talked briefly and they too expressed their appreciation for my time and effort.). Two and a half hours into my 2nd day of searching I got a banging signal showing the target to be quite shallow. At first I could not see anything but there, well hidden under some dead grass, was Christian’s lost wedding ring! I immediately bowed my head and thanked my heavenly Father for showing me where this little beauty was hiding. I then took a few photos and sent Gabby a text with the great news. Thirty minutes later Christian showed up for soccer practice and was very, very thankful to get his precious ring back!

Heat, humidity, rain or shine, in the water, grass or sand….I am willing to look for your lost item!

**** Patrick and Scott live at Hermosa Beach, CA. they often relax on sand to watch the waves and sunset. Patrick put his gold ring safely on his watch band. Scott left his ring at their home for safekeeping.

While sitting on the beach, Patrick decided to adjust his watch band because it was too tight. Then the unexpected happen. His very sentimental gold wedding band slipped into the dry sand. They saw exactly where it went into the sand. Finger searching was not successful. They went back to house to get digging and sifting tools. Again the search was beginning to look futile.

I passerby saw them searching the sand and recommended they google TheRingFinders for a metal detector specialist. They called me and we met on the beach before the incoming high tide reached the area of the loss. I was surprised by the how they had scooped a perfect flat spot 8ft by 10ft piling the lose sand to each side. 

I set up my detector beginning a grid search. A short time later the ring was recovered in the side of their excavation zone in a pile of sand the removed. They had actually dug the ring throwing to the side of the spot it was dropped in the sand. Patrick was elated and very relieved to have original wedding ring recovered. Also he was beating himself up for even bringing it onto the beach. Look a the smiles, they are real!

How to find a lost ring, Vancouver Park…

Yesterday afternoon I received a phone call from a young lady who said she lost her ring at a local park in Vancouver. She asked if I could come and help look for it, I asked her to make sure to check the area really well before I came out. Sometimes people can find their own ring just by looking in the area they believe it was lost in, after a half-hour I got the phone call to come out and help.

Paula was at the park with friends and family celebrating her nephews birthday, I asked her to text me when the party was coming to an end, she said around 6:30 pm. I arrived at 6:15 and was greeted by Paula, we discussed the possibilities of where the ring could be. I started a grid search in the most likely area I believed the ring could be in,  after one hour and 45 minutes I shifted my search into a bushy area that was very hard to swing my detector, I knew I had to use my pinpointer in this area.

Paula asked me if it was OK that they went home to celebrate her girlfriend’s birthday, I told her absolutely, as I knew I had another 45 minutes of searching left before it goes dark. Shortly after they left the area I found the ring and was able to call Paula back before they drove away.

Surprising someone with a ring that they lost is the funniest part of my job! I love the smiles and happiness it brings to a stranger! This ring was her father’s wedding ring that he gave her before she moved to Vancouver from Brazil. One can only imagine how sentimental that ring is to her and how important it was to find.

Sam was with a bachelorette party enjoying the evening, her ring fell out of her pocket into the sand. After searching and in tears, she found SRARC online and called Joe first thing in the morning. A few moments later, she was reunited with her ring.

If you leave 3 guys alone on the beach to have fun in the sun on Cape Cod…What can go wrong?

Sharks for one, sunburn for two and the dreaded lost wedding band for number three. Surely the three physically fit men should be able to find a very special wedding band in a bit of sand. But from the time of loss to the setting of the sun, it proved to be too big a task for them. It was now time for a woman to take charge.

Allissa, Brenton’s wife, reach out to a local detecting group in my home state of Connecticut. She was given good information; get in touch a group called TheRingFinders.com. Within a half an hour after receiving an E-mail I had a game plan set into motion. Being the loss occurred on Federal Property and it is illegal to detect there, special permission would be required from the proper authority. But with Corvid-19 closures in force it seemed to be impossible. No one was answering phone calls or E-mails. A call to the local police did yield a number to call at the National Park Service Headquarters.

Brenton requested permission to let “Ring Finders” utilize metal detectors during a specific time and for the specific lost ring. It took almost 24 hours of searching to obtain the permission. Brenton did not give up and was responsible for our search to happen legally during the next daytime low-tide. On the beach two Ring Finders, myself and Luke, were ready and with all the given information and our gear. It did not take long, maybe 5 minutes and the search was over, Brenton had his ring back on his finger.

It was great to see the three guys go from doubtful of to being amazed of how two guys would come out, look for a lost ring, find and return it within such a short time. Then it came to light, Brenton’s lucky number is 33. This return for me was number 233! It is our hobby that brings unique people that we would otherwise not have met into our life and proves good thing can come from an adverse situation. We love what we do.

Several people deserve big Thank You including Allissa for contacting TheRingFinders.com, all 3 guys for marking the area of loss, the two Ring Finders and especially the Supervisory Ranger for granting permission to conduct the search on Federal Property. OH, I forgot special Thank You goes to Benton for making this story happen. He accomplished the near impossible.

Sam was adjusting her headband during a workout when she felt her earring stud pop out. She was able to catch the small back piece but not the stud itself. As the loyal Cross Fitter Sam is, she kept the workout going! Replacing this set of Disney Mickey Mouse earrings would not be easy. Sam loves Disney, and these sentimental earrings are the tokens that keep her close to the Kingdom even when she’s 1000 miles away. Sam knew where she was when the earring fell, so we began the search after the workout. Mickey must have gone flying because 10 minutes into the search, I ended up find the earring 30 feet from where we started. Mickey is safe and sound back on Sam’s ear, where he’ll hopefully live out the rest of his years!

How to Find a Lost Earring

Retrace your steps to the last known earring location. If you have the other earring, keep it handy to use as a reference against the search area. Aaron lost his ring while tossing a nerf football with his friend down by the water. He was very distraught about his Platinum Ring falling into the ocean and had already called his wife to let her know.

When I arrived he showed me the area where they were playing and I started my search but soon Aaron said he hadn’t gone that far so I tried the other side of the search area and soon  received a nice signal on my detector.

After I dug down with my scoop I rinsed out the sand and saw a large sand crab and in the corner of my scoop was also his ring. I said to him,”look at the sand crab I found” and he looked in the scoop and was very surprised when he saw his ring.

Lost Gold Wedding Band Found Along Emerald Isle Beach

Joe was spending a relaxing day at the beach and decided to go for a swim. Regularly, Joe removes his wedding ring and necklace and then places the ring on the necklace. His wife agreed to hold both. After placing the necklace over her head she noticed the ring was missing. The ring had buried itself next to their Sun umbrella and after we remove the metal objects in the area, I found Jose ring before he could put the umbrella down.
