I received a text from Danny last night about his white gold wedding band that he lost while on the beach in Ocean City, NJ.

He wasn’t sure if was lost in the sand or ocean, so I started detecting at the approximate location where he was sitting.

Approximately 20 minutes into the search, the ring was found! Danny was thrilled to have his wedding band back on his finger!

Ishmael lost his grandfather’s class ring in Sea Isle City, NJ. The ring flew off his finger while he was throwing a football and landed somewhere in the sand. I started the search with a very large grid area, but it wasn’t there. I had to expand the search area several yards to find the ring.  The sentimental ring  was recovered and returned.

Lost Wedding Band and Engagement Ring Found Ocean City NJ By Ring Finders South Jersey

I received a call from Jackie about her sister Aileen’s wedding band and engagement ring that were lost earlier this afternoon in Ocean City, NJ.  I met with the family on the beach to get some additional details and a general idea for where to start the search. The rings fell into the water when Aileen was throwing a football in the surf.  I found the engagement ring buried approximately 8 inches in the sand, much deeper than expected since it was dropped only a couple of hours prior.  The wedding band was roughly 10 feet away at the bottom the slope, buried just as deep.  It was very exciting to find the rings since the couple just celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary this past Friday!  Congratulations!

I received a message on my Ring Finders South Jersey Facebook page from Dorothy who asked if I could help find a wedding ring that was lost in Ocean City, NJ earlier today. The ring belongs to her friend Ryan’s father.  I spoke with Ryan and he told me how his father Jim lost his wedding band while out in the waves during high tide.  We planned to meet during low tide to give us the best chance at finding it.  After a thorough grid search of the area did not produce the ring, I expanded the search out a little farther.  It was a few minutes later that I heard the tone and dug down approximately 10 inches in the sand.  It was the ring!  The ring that Jim has not taken off his hand since 1974, the year he married his wife.  It was pure joy when the ring was found and able to be put back where it belongs.
