Julie lost her wedding ring during a weekend trip in Ocean City, NJ. She put the ring in the back pouch of her beach chair, but her husband Will wasn’t aware it was in there when he packed up their belongings. Julie didn’t realize the ring was missing until they got back to the house. They thought it may have fallen out when the chair was flipped over, so Will gave me a call. Stefania called me to help find her husband’s lost wedding band on the beach in Wildwood Crest, NJ. They left the beach a few hours prior and realized it was missing. She explained that Chris put the ring in the chair and figured it must have fallen out when she packed up. I met the family on the beach in the general area and began the search. The ring didn’t turn up in the search area, so the only option was to look where a nearby couple was sitting. The couple was kind to move their belongings
and it wound up being under their chair! Stefania and Chris were excited to get the ring back and resume the remainder of their vacation in Wildwood Crest, NJ.

Kaleigh realized she didn’t have her jewelry just as she was about to walk off the beach for the day. She spent the day with some friends relaxing on the beach in Avalon, NJ. Earlier, she put her jewelry in her chair but forgot they were in there before packing up her belongings. She immediately walked back to where she was sitting and saw the jewelry. It was all there except her Claddagh ring. The lost ring was sentimental because it was something she brought back from a trip to Ireland. We met up the next morning and had a general idea of the location. I started the search with the metal detector and the Claddagh ring was found! It was a great start to the day in Avalon, New Jersey!

Nikki’s husband lost his wedding band shortly after he arrived at the beach in Sea Isle City, NJ. He started the day by sitting down to eat some lunch. After he was finished his sandwich, he stood up to dust off some crumbs. Unfortunately, his wedding band came off while he was cleaning his hands. Anusha gave me a call after her uncle Ram lost his wedding band. The family spent the day on the beach near Convention Hall in Cape May, NJ enjoying some time together. They started a game of volleyball and the ring came off during an attempt to hit the ball. I started the search in the general area where they thought it may have landed. After a few passes of the metal detector, the ring was back on  Ram’s finger!

June, who follows the Ring Finders South Jersey Facebook page, called me when John lost his wedding band. I was a few minutes south of Ocean City, New Jersey, when she called, so I was able to meet them quickly after the call. John told me that he took off the band and placed it on his lap. He realized that he had taken it off almost immediately after he stood up, but it had already dropped in the sand. After a few swings of the metal detector in the area, the ring was recovered. John and his family were able to enjoy the rest of the day on the beach!

Matt and Alicia enjoyed a day on the beach with their sons in Sea Isle City, NJ on Wednesday. They arrived around 3 PM and set their chairs up near the water’s edge. Before applying sunscreen to herself and her sons, Alicia took her 4 rings off and layed them on her chair. As the tide came in, the chairs had to be moved back a few times. They packed up around 7 PM and returned to their house. Approximately an hour later, Alicia realized her wedding rings were missing. Matt gave me a call and we planned to meet at low tide. I gridded the wet sand and did not get any signals, so I expanded the search up to the dry sand. After gridding the dry sand for some time, I finally got a signal and dug up one of the 3 bands. The next signal was another band, followed by the engagement ring that is extremely sentimental because the diamond is a family heirloom. Thankfully, the last band was nearby and recovered!

Stephanie lost a very special ring at the bonfire in North Wildwood, New Jersey the other night. It was a ring that her mother gave her when she graduated high school. She didn’t realize it was missing until she got home, so she called me the next morning to help find it. She remembered that she took off her glove at one point and felt something drop on her shoe. She disregarded it because when she looked down a tube of lip balm was near her foot and just assumed it was that. I got to the beach before her and started to search near the bonfire. I got the signal pretty quickly and was able to return it before she knew it was found. We were all thankful for a small blessing on this holiday weekend!

Dan reached out to me to help find his wife’s engagement ring and wedding band that were lost on the beach in Ocean City, NJ. Janece placed the rings on her beach chair and forgot to put them back on. She didn’t realize they were missing until she returned home, but knew she needed to search for them. I met her on the beach in the area where she was sitting, and after searching for approximately 30 minutes, the rings were found!
