This precious gold ring was lost in the beach sand at Carlsbad Ca. during this summertime of 2022.  I was called by a relative of 12-20 family members vacationing at the beach regarding of a young lady’s special ring that fell into the sand and had all spent hours searching for it to no avail…They even bought a metal detector from some nearby store with no luck either…!

Fortunately my story’s posted online of over 100 successful returns helped as I was found on google & Was able to unearth this sentimental ring in a few minutes after conducting the search,,Not to mention the measly 2 mile drive nearby!

The sound of Cheers,Tears, & Relief was roaring indescribably from the sands above. Words aren’t enough. This great family was already to head back home when I showed up immediately to save the day.

Lost a Ring at a SoCal Beach in the water or dry sand .. Call the Metal Detector Man .. 949-500-2136

*** Mike and his family are visiting Newport Beach, CA. from Canada. He was in waist deep water when he felt his ring slip off his finger.

He found my contact information on line, calling me for information on how the metal detecting service works. I gave him a short explanation of how we can work with the low tide as he was in the water at high tide. I did come to scan the upper dry sand just to eliminate that possibility.

The best low tide was at 2 am in the morning. I used photos Mike sent me get landmarks that would narrow the search area. I arrived before low tide as this is a beach that is heavily hunted by other detectorists. It took about 45 minutes of thoroughly grid searching the low tide zone till I found Mike’s ring.

I contacted him the next morning with the good news. I was able to deliver the ring to him as he was staying in a hotel and he had been using Uber to get around town ..  I can’t always guarantee a recovery in the water as sand conditions can vary and many times people lose rings I deeper water. I this case we had a successful recovery because we tried. Conditions were perfect.

HOLLY RIDGE, NC

Taylor texted me August 15th with a message stating, “This is a complete shot in the dark but I lost a ring in the last week of July at Topsail Island”

This class ring belonged to her mother.  Taylor said she was given the ring when she was 6 years old and has worn it off and on for nearly twenty years.

She informed me the ring was lost above the high tide line.  I explained that the odds are low especially if it was lost in the ocean or close to a public parking access as other detectorist hunt these places on a regular basis.  Taylor still wanted me to give it a shot and my reply was “I agree.  If nobody searches, there is no hope.  We have found rings that were lost a longer period of time…”  Upon arrival, I was becoming concerned as there were 2 public parking lots within 150 yards of the beach house her family rented.  I started from the path to the beach house, walked just below the high tide line. I began my walk back towards the house when an iffy signal on my Minelab CTX-3030 caught my attention.  When on a recovery search, I dig almost every signal so my scoop went to work and plucked out her ring on the very first scoop.  I must admit, it even surprised me!  I was so very happy to find her ring that had been lost for 20 days.

Engagement Ring Lost at San Clemente Beach, CA. .. Found by Metal Detector Man

*** Zack’s wife Cassie gave him her wedding rings to hold while they were at San Clemente Beach, CA. He accidentally lost both rings in the sand near where they were set up on the beach. Later that after noon he was able to get a metal detector and found one of the rings.

That night was very emotional and they both figured the diamond platinum engagement ring was lost forever. Zack contacted the insurance company to file a claim, but nothing will replace the original sentimental engagement ring.

Then somewhere he was told about my service . He called me that next morning as a last resort because he was positive that if he found one ring with the his metal detector he should have found both rings. I met him later and was able to find the ring just a few feet down the slope where the tide must have dragged the ring.

He was excited, calling his wife Cassie to come to the beach where we could surprise her with the beautiful engagement ring. Zack was holding his son, Jethro who was probably wondering what was going on.. It was a pleasure to be available to help a very nice family and make this a happy vacation to remember.

Black Diamonds ARE Forever. Lost,Cape Cod,Found,Returned, Yarmouth Beach

A call came in yesterday, to help find a Wedding Band that was lost the day prior in waste deep water. Rick called and asked if I wanted to go, I said he was on his own for this one, that I had a few things to do. I thought about how vast the area was, so I called back, and said I’ll meet him at his house ASAP. We met Stephanie and Chris at the beach lot about an hour later. They seemed real precise as to where they thought it to be. They walked out ahead of us, as we got ready for the search. Rick and I walked out about a mile onto the sand, then into waste deep water. We both searched for quite some time with no luck two junk targets a bullet and a penny.

I asked Chris to regroup, and stand where he thought it was, he was having second thoughts, he moved about 150 feet over.  Again Rick and I searched, and searched, still nothing. I then asked Stephanie where she thought it was lost, and to go over and stand there, so I could start my search over. Rick was still out far and walking away from Chris with no targets at all. I headed towards Stephanie, as I approached her, I said ” I just don’t get it, I just don’t get it. Not a signal in that whole area, even after an hour, it’s crazy. I told her not to give up till she sees us walking toward the truck. That if it was there and I went over it that I would hear it. I think Chris and Stephanie were about to throw in the beach towel, but as I walked by her, finally a very loud signal 4 feet away from where she was standing in the water. I looked over to her and smiled, Her eyes got huge, her smile even bigger, she had a hard time controlling her emotions. Stephanie knew, I had just recovered what they both thought was lost forever, King Neptune finally gave in to me. Stephanie was shaking, I’m not sure if it was from the cold, or from being excited. She yelled over to Chris, he started to run fast as he could in the water, I yelled faster, faster, he couldn’t get there fast enough to see what the commotion was all about. Rick knew already I had just found Chris’s  beautiful 14K white gold wedding band, with black diamonds set into the center. I handed it over to Chris as he teared up also. So gratifying to see it back on his finger.

Lot’s of congratulations and hand shakes went around, Chris kept repeating he just couldn’t believe we did what we said we would do. Great team work is always a plus. Thanks again to Rick for the invite. Now I will say it myself. Congratulations Chris and Stephanie on your return. Thank You for getting in touch with Rick & myself.

Metal Detecting Service Finds Lost Gold Wedding Ring in Columbia, Maryland

Adam’s handsome 14 karat yellow and white gold wedding band shining brightly once again after metal detectorist Brian Rudolph recovers the precious keepsake.

Adam and wife Mikaela pose for a photo capturing the exciting moment when member of THE RING FINDERS, Brian Rudolph, surprises the couple with the amazing “symbol of love”!

Brian Rudolph, Lost Item Recovery Specialist (Land, Water, Sand, Snow, Leaves, Cliffs, Houses & Vehicles) Will Find Your Lost Keepsake! Call ASAP (301) 466-8644!

Adam and Mikaela volunteered to help with a landscaping project at their friend’s house in Columbia, Maryland. Adam gave his ring to his wife for safe keeping while he worked in the flower beds and built a retaining wall. Mikaela carefully placed her husband’s size 13 yellow and white gold wedding band in her shirt pocket. Once they got home that evening, Mikaela reached into her pocket so that she could give Adam his ring back. Unfortunately, it was nowhere to be found. The couple realized that the ring must have fallen out either at their friend’s house somewhere in the front of the house, backyard, or even perhaps it was lost in the vehicle somewhere while Mikaela was leaning over.

Over the next two and a half weeks the couple searched for several hours hoping to find the sentimental keepsake. Even some neighbors volunteered their time metal detecting the yard and flower beds but no ring was ever discovered. Finally, Adam and Mikaela went online and found THE RING FINDERS, the elite metal detectorist directory that specializes in finding lost rings and other lost items. After getting all of the details from the couple, we scheduled to meet out at their friend’s house the following day.

When I arrived at the search site, Mikaela showed me around the property. I got all of the additional information needed to conduct the search and then immediately got my gear out to begin the recovery process.

I made sure that I was thorough with my “investigation of the lost wedding band”. I searched all of the grass where Mikaela had walked, which included: the front lawn, the side lawn areas, most of the backyard, the garage and finally the long flowerbed in the front of the house.

After a couple of hours had passed, Adam and Mikaela left to go back home approximately 45 minutes away. By that point I had scanned almost all of the grassy areas. I never gave up. Finally, as nightfall came upon me, I put my headlamp on and started detecting the flower bed (which would be the last place left for me to search). Though there were so many metallic obstacles in that area of the property, I finally got a promising target located towards the very end of the long strip of well arranged mulch and beautiful plant life. It was situated in the middle of that stretch of the flower bed section and buried approximately 6 inches beneath the earth. I even had to cut through the fabric that was laid down on top of the initial dirt in order to penetrate farther below the ground.

Once I had finally reached the depth necessary to retrieve the mystery object, I grabbed a handful of dirt in that region and brought it closer in front of me. It was at that moment that I couldn’t believe my eyes! At the very last minute of my long 3 plus hour search, I finally recovered the massive white and yellow gold wedding band that had once been placed on Adam’s finger on the couple’s wedding day several years earlier! I could not have been any happier for Adam and Mikaela! I never gave up and I kept eliminating section by section until I finally struck gold!

Although it was very late at night by the time I had recovered the very handsome “symbol of love”, I excitedly drove all of the way to the couple’s house and gave Adam and Mikaela the biggest surprise of their life! Yes indeed, it was a big “ring size 13” surprise which those two lovebirds will now never forget!

Ring lost in Mission Bay Found

  • from La Jolla (California, United States)

Ryan was out paddle boarding on Mission Bay, when about 15 yards off shore, he took a tumble. Windmilling his arms resulted in his platinum wedding band flying off his finger and into the drink in waist deep water. He searched the best he could, even pulling up some of the sea grass, but, the ring had disappeared. He noted the spot and sadly went home to break the news to his wife. He found TheRingFinders.com website, my contact info, and gave me a call. We agreed to meet the next day at 11:30am to take the best advantage of a currently pitiful low tide. We arrived at the same time and made our way to the search area. Once Ryan got oriented and waded out to ground zero, I started my first pass out to where he was standing.  I heard a few spurious signals along the way, indicating junk or something reading totally different that what his ring would read, until I got out to about waist deep water. There I got a solid 16 on my Equinox and tried to scoop the target. It took 5-6 tries in the sea grass to get the target in my scoop. After filtering the sand, mud, shells, and sea grass out, I was left with a beautiful ring staring up at me. Ryan couldn’t have been happier and more relieved to get it back. A pleasure meeting you Ryan and thank you for the reward.

HAVE YOU LOST SOMETHING OF VALUE?  LET STEVE RAY TRY TO SAVE THE DAY! 614-354-6704

EMERALD ISLE, NC     —–   COMMUNICATION BREAKDOWN

Kristina and Drew were spending a beautiful day on the Emerald Isle beach.  Before finding a place to setup for the day in the sun, Kristina placed her engagement ring in a zip up blanket.  She became alerted when she had notice that Drew had opened the blanket and placed it on the beach.  Apparently, he didn’t know about the hidden ring.  Kristina called me and I informed her I could be there in less than 40 minutes.  Upon arrival, I searched over the blanket and received a very strong signal below the blanket.  I even stated “there is your ring”.  I moved the beach blanket and nothing  produced a signal from my Garrett Pro-Pointer AT pinpointer.  It was then, I looked up and noticed the metal zipper under the blanket.  I reset and started to scan the area with my Minelab CTX-3030.  I then locked onto a 2nd strong signal and this time, the Garrett sounded off with Kristina’s ring!  Now her engagement ring can attend next year’s wedding!

Underwater Metal Detector finds 2 rings in Naramata

  • from Kelowna (British Columbia, Canada)

My 3rd lost ring call of the day came at dinner time from Tyler in Naramata to tell me that his wife had lost her wedding ring in the Lake. I was going to respond the next day, but went right after dinner. After an 80 minute drive, Tyler showed me the location of the missing ring, after 5 minutes I had a diamond ring in my scoop, he said that`s her engagemant ring, her wedding ring is still there. Another 15 minutes and we had them both, much to the delight of all the people in the resort who had initially helped to search for the rings, so it was cheers and high fives all round which brought Tyler`s wife to tears.
