Lost Wedding Ring at the church!!!

  • from Orange Beach (Alabama, United States)

Sadie called and said that she and her kids had gone to the church for a Saturday afternoon playground session. When they got there the gate was locked so they decided to have a picnic on a grassy area instead. Sadie had me come out the next day and showed me the area it could have possibly been in and I began my search. Being Palm Sunday you can imagine there were lots of people interested and finally a very nice man named Bob with security came out to make sure everything was ok. As soon as he walked up to me he said, “I know you! You run Pensacola Ring Finders”. 😃. He had some experience with detecting and very kindly walked Sadie and a gentleman that was helping out of the search zone. I finished the area and about the time I was going to tell Sadie that we needed to expand the search, Sadie and Bob started yelling for me to come over. Sadie had looked down 30 yards from the area she thought it was in and saw her precious ring gleaming in the sun. I definitely can’t take detecting credit for this one but sometimes knowing where it’s not makes all the difference. I like to think that a little Palm Sunday divine guidance doesn’t hurt either. 😃👏Congratulations Sadie and thanks for the assist Bob!

Lost Ring Pensacola – FOUND 5 months later!

  • from Orange Beach (Alabama, United States)

I must admit that I assumed my first return during Spring Break this year would be someone out enjoying this nice weather. In reality, George lost his ring in his backyard 5 months ago. Like a lot of people, George had a pretty good idea where it was so he decided to go buy a metal detector and see if he could find it himself. When he finally gave me a call he remarked about how much iron there was in the ground and how hard it was to operate. George asked me to come out and take a look for him. George was right that it was a tough area but luckily I have some of the best machines in the world and I’ve been using them a long time. George pointed me to the area and I began my search. I did the part George had pointed out with a few coils and realized that the ring wasn’t there. I told George that I was going to expand my search and I didn’t make it too far before I heard a nice gold tone in my headphones and headed over to a thrilled George and his wife Michelle. Thank you both for trusting me to come find your ring. 👍

Ring Finder .. Thanks Dennis Burlingame

I frantically called Dennis today to see if he would be able to help me find my wedding ring at Pt Pleasant Beach. It had come off my finger as I applied sunscreen on my daughter. He was at the beach within the hour and located my ring within 2 mins of beginning his search. Calling Dennis was the best thing I could have done because there was no way it would have been located without him. Thank you so much for finding my ring today Dennis. It means so much to me and my wife that you dropped what you were doing to come assist us today.

Again thank you so much for rushing out to Pt in the middle of your shopping to help us.  We are forever grateful.

LOST SENTIMENTAL WEDDING RING in CHARLOTTE, NC……. FOUND!!

  • from Raleigh (North Carolina, United States)

“BREAK OUT THE TISSUES FOR THIS ONE!”

Got a call Saturday, from the ring finders page, while up in WV. A newly wed, down in Charolette, NC had lost his wedding ring while aerating his lawn and putting down straw in his backyard. It had been missing since Wednesday of last week. We agreed that after I got off work at 2 on Monday, I would drive down to attempt to find it.

2:00 pm today, I jump in the truck and start the 2.5 hour trip. I get there just before 5 PM and start right away.

30 mins later I get a good on top, but under the straw hit! I look down and I can see GOLD!!!

The story gets better or a little more “tug at your heart strings” sentimental. You might be asking yourself, “WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE MORE SENTIMENTAL THAN A WEDDING RING?” How about his dad’s wedding ring that was passed down by his mom to use for his wedding after he passed away about 2 yrs ago.

Man I love to help find and reunite lost items for folks!!! I love the drive, hunt, finding them, then seeing that smile on their face again! Only to find out more to the story many times, just like this one!!

Lost Gold Hawaiian Style Wedding Ring at Aulani Lagoon Ko Olina Resort…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This ring find began on Friday when I received a call from Megazar who lives in Ewa Beach.  While enjoying the cool waters of the lagoon with his lovely wife Edah his Gold Hawaiian Style Wedding ring fell off and disappeared into the sand.  They both tried sifting the sand but the odds are dramatically against you in that task.  In my years hunting I’ve only heard of one and that was a Gold Cuban Necklace.  Edah did a google search and found “The Ring Finders” and reached out to me.  I agreed to try the next morning but a miscommunication on probable depth eluded me from finding the ring.  We agreed it would be better if we all met at the beach and they could show me the suspected location.  We agreed to meet Sunday after church.  When I arrived at the beach Edah was already in the water on the hunting spot.  Megazar and I joined her and I explained the type of grid pattern I would do.  First two passes nothing then on the third pass about 5 yards from Edah I got a booming tone on the Nox.  Five scoops later I had a corroded pull tab in my scoop.  I explained how that could have been the ring.  As I moved to within 2 yards of Edah I got an identical tone.  I was thinking probably another pull tab and unbelievably after 8-9 scoops there in the scoop was Megazar’s awesome Hawaiian style Ring.  They were both in shock and very relieved.  Edah was practically standing on the ring and immediately took it from me and put it back on Megazar’s finger.  They told me it was their anniversary so I’m especially glad that hunt was successful.  Aloha to Megazar and Edah!

Lost Ring Granite Falls NC …….

  • from Granite Falls (North Carolina, United States)

Received a call Friday morn to find a gentleman`s lost wedding ring. Lucky for me the location was 10 minutes from my home. I was available when I received the call so I could

immediately drive to the location. When I arrived the gentleman was outside to meet me. He showed me the approximate location of the lost ring. He and his son was passing football

when the ring came off. He thought the ring was released when he took his arm back to throw the pass. I did a grid search with no luck. I then moved to the location his son was

standing to catch the pass and started a grid. 10 minutes later I located his ring! As always the smile you see when you show him the ring is worth it all. He said he did not sleep well

the night before due to losing the ring which had been on his finger for 20 years.

Lost Gold Wedding Band Found Longport NJ by Ring Finders South Jersey John Favano

  • from North Wildwood (New Jersey, United States)

I received a message from Marisa on my Ring Finders South Jersey Facebook page about her antique wedding band that was lost yesterday.  She was standing in the surf in Longport, NJ when a wave came in and caused the ring to slide off her finger.  She saw it drop into the ocean and thought she would never see it again. Ironically, she happened to see the news segment earlier in the day about a lost wedding band that I found and reached out to me. I went out at sunrise to catch low tide since it was lost in the surf.  After roughly 35 minutes of gridding the surf and wet sand, I was able to find it!

Lost ring in leaves found!

Dana sent me an email regarding Todd’s lost wedding band. Todd had to secure a fence near the back of his yard in Red Bank, New Jersey because one of his dogs is a successful escape artist. Unfortunately, the ring came off in the process, but he had an idea on the direction it might be, and that’s where I started to search. The wedding band was found shortly after, buried under a thick pile of leaves.
