Metal Detecting Service – Gold Wedding Band – Found in Moon Township (Pittsburgh, PA)

  • from Indiana (Pennsylvania, United States)

Lost your ring, other valuable jewelry, cellphone, keys, or other metal object…call or text Brian Carpenter at (814)244-2300 as soon as possible. I am a ring recovery and metal detecting specialist serving Pittsburgh, Indiana (PA), and most of Western PA. Why rent a metal detector when you can get a trained operator with top of the line equipment at the same time…I am also pleased to announce I am beginning to search for lost rings in vehicles!!

I was contacted by Tom who lost his ring doing yard work. He was throwing some sticks and vegetation over an embankment when his ring went flying. We made arrangements and I went out to see what I could find. It was not too bad of an area to search with a lot of leaves, trees and grass clippings. I started to look and did not find it where Tom thought it might be. I then started to expand my search area. Tom in his kindness gathered some of the sticks and things and moved them into a pile a short distance from where he thought his ring would be found before I had arrived. I then went through that pile of stuff and beyond. It was on the other side of the items that Tom had cleaned up hoping to give me a better chance at finding it. He could not believe how far the ring actually traveled. I was happy to have recovered the ring and Tom was elated to have it back. Another successful day for another kind and generous client.

LOST 14k WHITE GOLD RING IN NEBO, NC…..FOUND!

  • from Raleigh (North Carolina, United States)

Got a call this morning from a lady that had lost her 14k gold ring with some heirloom diamonds/sapphires that she had specially made. She lost it in Lake James near Charolette, NC. 3.5 hr drive (one way)

She lost it off a dock at a friends house. She was stepping down to get into her kayak when she grabbed the wire/cable of the ramp to the boat dock. As she grabbed it the cable caught the ring (it has a cut out in it) and pulled it off of her finger. She thought it had fallen straight down and bounced off her kayak on the right hand side of the ramp. After almost 5 hours of searching the right side I expanded and moved to the left side. After about 30 more mins I found her ring! It was a very choppy signal on the AT MAX I think because of the cut in the ring and the clay in the lake.

But I didn’t give up! She knew it was there and I wasn’t giving up until I found it. 5.5 hours later it was found and back on her finger where it belonged!

I managed to surprise her with the return too! Love making folks happy again when I find something they feared was lost forever.

Lost Ring in Volleyball Court ..Recovered at Newport Dunes Resort .. Newport Beach, CA.

Don’t give up on a lost ring in the sand .. Call or text a metal detector expert .. Stan the Metal Detector Man mobile metal detecting service … 949-500-2136 . If the loss is not in a public location email:  stan@metaldetectorman.com

*** Linda was playing volleyball with her friends when her special silver ring flew off her finger disappearing into the sand. I was passing by on a nearby sidewalk when I saw all the players frantically running their fingers through the sand.

Walking over to the group, I asked if the had lost a ring. When they answered, yes, I told them I could find the ring if they needed help. This volleyball court was about 100 yards from my home. So I could be back in a few minutes with a metal detector.

About 10 minutes later I showed up ready for the search. It took longer to turn on my detector, making a few adjustments for the ground conditions, than it took to get the perfect signal of the silver ring. BOOM! Linda’s ring found.. It’s always exciting to see the reactions of all the on lookers when the recovery is successful. Especially those that have spent hours searching by sifting the sand by hand.

Lost Engagement Ring in Farmers Field, Rolly View, Alberta Canada

  • from Edmonton (Alberta, Canada)

I received a call from Krystal regarding her white 14k gold engagement ring which she had lost out in Rolly View, in the county of Leduc.  After asking Krystal my usual questions I agreed to meet her.

Upon arriving at the location Krystal showed me exactly where she and her boy friend stood when he proposed to her and gave her the ring. With the excitement of accepting his proposal Krystal shook her hand and the ring flew off her finger into the snow! They searched the immediate area with no luck so decided to go back to the city and purchase a metal detector.  They headed back to continue the search but Krystal told me the metal detector made so many sounds that they did not understand and gave up the search and headed home.  While doing a Google search on “how to find a lost ring” she found me on the Ringfinders Blog Page. Within five minute Krystal had her ring back on her finger and was very grateful to have called me.

Thank you Krystal for getting in touch with me. I am so glad to have been able to find your ring.

Wedding Ring Found By The Ring Finders in Vermont

11/25/23
Went on a cold ring search today, brrrrr only 18 degrees!

Got a call yesterday from a guy who was visiting Vermont on a Thanksgiving get together. He, his wife, their 3 little ones, some brothers, uncles and aunts had rented a lodge near a local skiing mountain. He and his brothers went outdoors to get some air and burn off some calories. They had a snowball fight and threw knives at some logs. After awhile he realized his wedding ring was missing. It was loose fitting to begin with and the cold snow made his fingers shrink a little.

He had to go back to their home today, but he gave me the address to go to. His brother was their searching with a metal detector that they just bought. He was learning it real well, but it was an extremely difficult yard to detect. There was scrap metal all through the soil, and crusty snow and ice to contend with as well. There was also a load of EMI in the air (glad I took 2 detectors with me!). After a couple hours, his brother had to leave. About another 3/4 hour later, I got a clean signal. I moved some ice and there it was, partially pressed into the dirt below. Wow, what a blessing!!!

I called his brother, he hadn’t driven too far, and brought him the ring so he could deliver it to his brother.

LOST GOLD WEDDING RING SET IN RALEIGH, NC…… FOUND

  • from Raleigh (North Carolina, United States)

Got a call from a gentleman that found me online. His wife had lost both of her wedding rings while taking pine straw from some bushes, dropping it as she worked in the cold weather.

At some point both of her rings slipped off her finger and into the pine straw/leaves and they couldn’t find them!

After arriving I found out it was two rings when I thought it was just one ring. About 30 mins later she had both rings back where they belonged!!

These are truly moments I live for!!

Gold Ring Lost in Backyard Landscaping Found .. Irvine, CA.

  • from Newport Beach (California, United States)

Mobile Metal Detecting Service by Stan the Metal Detector Man available to help you now .. Call or Text  949-500-2136  email:  stan@metaldetectorman.com

*** Mike was trimming heavy shrubbery in the backyard of his Irvine residence. It was almost like a jungle under large trees. After a couple hours his custom gold ring was missing from his finger. He was sure he was wearing it when he started his day.

He told me this ring was very special to him as it was custom made by a friend. Actually he had had it for years and only recently started wearing it. Now it was probably lost in a place where it looked impossible to find it. He was very upset with himself. Mike found me online and call to ask for information about how my service works. We talked about the circumstance of his loss diring our phone call. I explained how I  can come scan the area with my metal detector. It’s always difficult to know what obstacles that may be present without seeing the location, so I try to avoid giving false hope to someone that is overconfident that a metal detector is going to perform a miracle.

I do know that a metal detector in the hands of an experienced detectorist is the best tool to find small objects such as rings. Not all metal detectors are capable of finding small objects. There are many variables .. environment,  type of metal, settings on detectors, public or private locations, searching experience, timing ! ! , etc. Many times that I finish searching a possible location of a loss, I can say the item is not there. We call that a closure search.  That will help the person a chance to continue their search in other areas the loss may have happened. Searching for a lost object is a “ process of elimination “.

Mike kept insisting he believed the ring was in a pile of branches that he pruned from the thick brush. I asked him to give me a few minutes to eliminate the upper level that was mostly leaves on the ground. Boom! a couple swings of my metal detector coil revealed Mikes most cherished gold ring.  He was standing right next to me when I reached down to pull the ring out of the leaves. It was my pleasure to meet Mike and help him find his ring.

I am available to help you with any questions you may have about how my service works. Please feel free to call me anytime. Your call is important to me.  Stan .. 949-500-2136  ..  Email :  stan@metaldetectorman.com  .

Ring lost in the lagoon, Little Egg Harbor NJ, recovered by Edward Trapper, NJ Ring Finder

  • from Lavallette (New Jersey, United States)

I was at work when I received a call from George inquiring about possibly recovering his family heirloom ring from his lagoon. We went over the details of when and how the ring was lost, and knowing the area quite well, decided it would be best if I swung by prior to committing to do the recovery. A few days later I met George at his house and after going over exactly what he did when the ring flew off into the lagoon, we decided with the 5′ tide swing this had to be done at low tide. The following week worked perfect with our schedules. My first attempt didn’t work out so well, it was blazing hot, the greenhead flies were eating us alive, and the mud on the bottom was black and bottomless. After about 2 hours I threw in the towel but assured him I would be returning for another attempt. I believe at that point George had given up hope of ever seeing his ring again. Over the next week or so our schedules didn’t work with the tide, so he agreed for me to swing by when conditions were right, whether he was home or not. WELL, after some adjustments to my recovery approach, and taking my assistant wife LEE, and good luck charm, the ring was in my scoop within 15 min. I knew this would mean the world to him, so I decided to do a surprise return, and set the whole thing up with his wife and son. I arrived just as they were getting back from fishing, put the ring in my scoop, and headed down the driveway where we met. We all talked a bit, I asked how they did fishing, then told him I did really well, and put my scoop out. He was kinda puzzled, and I said look in the bottom, and when he did, he could not believe his eyes. Then we let him in on the whole plan. I have the video of the return, just need to edit it, stay tuned. That moment right there is what makes doing recoveries so rewarding.

Ring lost 30 years ago hunted down and returned. Lincoln, Nebraska

  • from Lincoln (Nebraska, United States)

Carma saw one of my ring finder posts and decided to bait me with a challenge. 30 years ago she lost a ring her mom had given her. She was at a party playing volleyball, never felt it slip off but looked down and realized it was missing. One problem, the land had all been developed. So I started investigating to see if there was a chance it might still be in some ground that was undisturbed. I got permission and long story short found it after about 3 hours of searching. We talked about what this ring meant to her and that she can now tell her mom that the ring passed down with love has been found.
