Ellana lost her wedding ring while working in her back yard. It fell off her finger and fell between the slats of wood making up her deck into the yard below. I was available, and left right away to help her.

When I got there Ellana led me to the back yard deck which was out over a hillside of grass and other cover. I began by crawling up under the deck before working the hillside. Fortunately I was able to find the ring under the deck, thankful it hadn’t rolled down the hill. I brought it back up to Ellana, and she expressed a lot of joy to have it back. She told me she had worn her wedding ring  for over 60 years, so the sentimental value was priceless.

Jason called me about his lost ring. He had been working in his yard when he then noticed it was gone from his finger. We arranged a time for me to come out and do the search, and I was on my way.

When I got there Jason showed me the area of the loss, and it wasn’t large. There was also a pile of dirt that he believed the ring could be in. I began looking all around the area he showed me, and then began to look on the dirt pile. As I was swinging my coil over the dirt pile I got a good signal, looked down, and there it was right on top of the dirt. He was surprised it had made it over that far, but was very happy to have it back.

Lost Tungsten Ring Found in Ann Arbor Michigan

Slips Happen…

And when they do, they can leave a person severely injured. But fortunately for David when he tripped and slipped on a parking block all he lost was his ring. Regaining his footing he scrounged around in the dark to find it to no avail. Now that of course was devastating for him because his wife bought him the ring with her first paycheck. Meeting them and getting the area narrowed down had me grid searching with my MXT metal detector. Lots of junk signals I passed over but a nice solid signal where tungsten registers on my detector had me reaching into the grass. I felt a ring-shaped object and pulled it up. Showing it to David had him running towards me, and as a trip advisor I yelled to go around the parking blocks this time! Holding it in his hands the only thing he was trippin’ on now was the recovery of his ring!

Lost White Gold Ring w/ Diamond Found in Belleville Michigan

Kernel Cornundrum……

I got a call from Charani saying her wedding ring came off while playing in a corn crib with her daughter. I said I was all ears and excited to pop into something fun. Upon arriving I discovered that the loose kernels were about 1 foot deep. It reminded me of grainy beach sand. Off came my shoes and the grid search began. Searching where she thought the ring was, I got no signal. Moving farther out I got a nice solid signal. Pin-pointing revealed the location. Reaching down thru the corn we brought up handfuls and waited for the pin-pointer to signal. After a few scoops Charani brought up a nice piece of candy corn in the shape of her ring! As this great harvest of an a-maize-ing find left us smiling from ear to ear, we high fived and yelled shuck-yeah!

Gold pendant lost in grass, found in Daytona Beach, Florida with a metal detector!

Bruce called me about a lost gold pendant in his yard and wanted to know if I could help him find it. This gold pendant was a very special gift to him from his grandmother whom he had great respect for and who had a very special place in his life and heart. Apparently a few nights earlier he and his brother were messing around and as they got out of the car they began wrestling and Bruce noticed that one end of his chain was hanging down the front of his shirt. He quickly grabbed the chain and began feeling around for his special gold pendant that he has worn since he was just a young teen. He searched the car, the driveway, his cloths and finally began looking in the grass…but very soon realized the impossibility of finding it in the thick St. Augustine grass. Later that evening he found my number online and after our conversation he started feeling a small bit of hope. Two days later I arrived and began searching the small area where the short wrestling match took place. My first set of grid searching passes turned up the normal yard trash and I soon realized that my metal detector was set on Beach Mode so I switched it to Gold Mode and I soon got the signal I was praying I would find. Bruce was so thrilled and we had a good long conversation about what the pendant meant to him and just what all his grand mother meant to him as well!

LOST WHITE GOLD WEDDING RING TEGA CAY, SC…..FOUND!!!

Received a text from a young man that said his wife lost her rings in their front yard and asked me if I could come find one of the two rings. They ended up finding the engagement ring but were unable to find the wedding ring.

We agreed to Sunday morning and I get there, get my machine dialed in and start my search. The area was about 5×5 area and took me less than 5 mins find it! Took me longer to set up the machine than it took to find the ring.

They weren’t home at the time so I placed the ring in a secure spot until they got back home and they sent me a photo of his wife holding up the ring.

Another recovery and a precious ring back where it belonged!!

I got a call today from Megan who had been enjoying the sun and surf in Ventura today except for the fact that she lost both her engagement and wedding rings somewhere in the sand. She had taken them off for safekeeping and as usually happens, she proceeded to lose them.
