While James was walking in the shallows with his 3 year old daughter, an unexpected rogue wave hit.  As he reached out to stabilize and prevent her from being knocked over he realized his ring was gone.  Lots of prayers…James made the right call.  “It’s only lost until you call!”  After two days of unsuccessful searching a team of metal detectors was set up – the ring finally turning up, 22 hours of search time.  Well, James’ story continues, the ring securely back on his finger.  God bless 🙏🏻🎉😇

Huge diamond ring found and returned Naples

While playing ball with her son in the crystal clear Naples water she suddenly realized as her ring slipped off her finger.  A quick Internet search revealed the solution – call Mark “it’s only lost until you call!”  The rest is history, a 2.5 hour deep water search locating the ring.  God bless…her story continues. 🎉🙏🏻😇

Wedding ring found in the water at Sanford Lake in Michigan

I got a call from a lady saying that her husband lost his wedding ring at Sanford Lake in Michigan. I met them both there to try to find it. The husband said he was in about a 75 foot long area along the beach in the water. He said that he didn’t go out farther than 30 feet. He was playing with his kids and crawling on the lake bottom. I figured that I would start at where he could crawl and keep his head above water. In less than five minutes and my first signal, I scooped up his ring.They were both happy to have it back and it made my day to get it back to him.

Lost – Gold princess cut diamond engagement ring, New Smyrna Beach, FL – FOUND!!

I received a text from Alex on Sunday morning. He said his fiancée had lost her engagement ring the previous day and asked if I could help. I told him to call me right away.

Seconds later, my phone rang. I could hear the tension in his voice as he explained where and when the ring had been lost. They had searched for quite a while but came up empty. I told him I could head there immediately. Since his fiancée, Bryanna, lived about 40 minutes away, he said she would meet me at the beach. I told him I’d get started and wait for her.

As I drove, I prayed that God would guide my search.

When I arrived, I fired up the Minelab Manticore. A few beach tents already occupied the area, and I could still see the marks in the sand from the previous evening’s search.

I began carefully gridding from the edge of the water into the dry sand where Bryanna believed the ring had come off. I had covered most of the likely area and was beginning to wonder if it had been lost somewhere else.

Then came a booming signal.

Just beneath the sand was the ring, crowned with a beautiful, large diamond. It was easy to understand why they had been so worried.

I walked back to the house where I had parked my car at Mike and Pam’s home, Bryanna’s best friend’s parents. Moments later, Bryanna and her mother arrived. I asked Bryanna to tell me one more time where she thought the ring had been lost. As she pointed toward the beach, I slowly raised the ring into her view.

First came a gasp. Then tears of joy.

Praise God! Another precious ring was safely back where it belonged.

Wedding Ring Lost During a Water Ballon Fight-Found

Chris contacted me on Sunday morning and said his wife had lost her ring in the front yard while throwing water ballons on the 4th. He showed me the area they were at so I started there. I was fairly certain that early on in the conversation he said it was white gold, so I was mainly concentrating on shallow low signals. But, after around 30 minutes I got a very strong 72 on the Manticore with the telltale double beep that said it was very shallow or on the surface. A 72 is definately not white gold, but a silver or copper tone, and of course I investigated to see what it would be. It was the lost ring, and after looking at it I saw a 925 inside the band. So it was silver and not white gold. His wife was estatic and said she went to sleep crying the night before. In my book they are newlyweds, only 6 months in. A successful recovery!

Wedding Band Lost While Preparing Raised Plant Bed-Found!

Nick contacted me and said that his wife had lost her wedding band while preparing a raised plant bed, but she wasn’t sure which one. He and his wife has a matching tungsten carbide band set. The first bed I checked had a good signal, but it turned out to be a larger deep signal. The second bed was larger in size, but all of them had galvanized metal sheeting for the side walls. That was a problem, but I managed to work around it. In the second bed I found a signal that was showing a 30 on the Manticore, but was close to the metal side wall so that number may have been skewed. That 30 on the Manticore turned out to be her ring. It was about four inches deep. The total seach time was only about twelve minutes.

I got a text late on July 3rd from Jen who was visiting the town of Goleta from Phoenix to visit family. They had made a trip up to Gaviota state beach and had been playing on the beach and in the water when Jen noticed her wedding ring was missing. She had been in 3 places while at the beach and she wasn’t sure which one was where it came off. One of these places was in the water as she had been playing with her kids in the shore break. She was concerned that her ring was lost for good as she and her family were leaving to go back to Phoenix in a few days and fortunately she found Dave The RingFinder after a quick search for lost ring recovery on Google.

Lost – Diamond, Sapphire, Silver Medallion, New Smyrna Beach, Fl – FOUND!!

Late Friday, I received a call from Dustin, who had lost a precious silver medallion. He had been wrestling with a friend in his front yard when he felt his necklace snap. He found the broken chain, but the silver medallion—a special gift from his girlfriend—had disappeared into the thick grass. I told him I’d be right over.

As I drove, I prayed that God would guide me to Dustin’s keepsake.

We met at a nearby bowling alley, and I followed him to the house. He showed me the matching ring to the medallion, then pointed to the area of thick St. Augustine grass where they had been wrestling.

I fired up the Minelab Manticore and began searching near the road before working my way toward the driveway. Nothing but deep targets. Thinking the medallion might have flown farther than expected, I moved deeper into the yard.

Then came a beautiful signal—85 to 90.

I reached down with my pinpointer and carefully worked through the dense grass roots until a flash of silver appeared. As I lifted it free, the diamonds sparkled in the afternoon sun. Dustin’s smile said it all.

Praise God—another treasured keepsake was back where it belonged.

Taylor went in the water after seeing some goggles skimming around in the light surf. About thigh deep, just out beyond the small rocks, he bent over and reached in to grab the goggles. When standing upright, his ring slipped off his finger and vanished in the lofty sand.
A seemingly simple recovery, mildly complicated by several metallic targets in the immediate vicinity. Also, about 50 young kids let loose in the exact area, for lake/beach day care swim time. About an hour of searching, nearing the cut-off time to leave for work, a last minute good signal, gold wedding ring in the scoop! Mailed it back to Taylor.

I got a text Saturday evening from Damian asking if I could help find his ring. He had been having a picnic at San BuenaVentura Beach in Ventura and had put up a small tent during the course of the feast. Somehow his ring had become dislodged off his finger and had ended up somewhere in the sand. I told his I could be there at sun up and that if his ring was there I would find it.

As I always do I took time out to pray and ask God to help me find his ring and when I arrived at the beach I simply asked for God to direct my steps and lead me right to where Damian’s ring was. The area was large so I started walking to the high tide line to begin my search. I got to the location, turned on my machine, took one step and one swing and got a loud 37 on my Minelab Manticore. I plunged my CKG scoop into the sand and heard the rattle of what could only be a ring and sure enough, there was Damian’s ring. Since Damian had already returned to his home in Los Angeles I agreed to mail him back his ring and now all is well.
