*** Mathew called me after someone saw him searching for his Gold Wedding that he lost in the grass. He was at a local neighborhood soccer field watching his daughter play. His ring slipped off his finger after he had put sunscreen on his daughter.

The loss occurred in deep grass where he was sitting on the side lines. The ring could not have gone more than10 feet from his chair because he had not been actively throwing or moving his arms much. The soil was very wet under the grass and if the ring got stepped on, it was certainly not visible.

Matthew called me after locating my services online. It took me an hour to drive to Culver City, one of many cities in the county of Los Angeles.

The ring was found shortly after I met him at the field. It was actually as I suspected, out of sight in muddy roots of the grass under his chair.

Another happy person that was relieved to have his ring back where it belongs. The recovery took less than one and a half hours from the time Mathew called me.

Wedding Band Lost – Found in Highway – Winchester VA.

  • from Leesburg (Virginia, United States)

WEDDING RING RECOVERY – Received a frantic late afternoon call from a guy named Jimmy who lost his wedding ring along a highway in Winchester Virginia. I initially wasn’t going to try to go across the mountain on an hour drive through rush-hour traffic, but decided this is what I do so get your butt out there. Got over to Interstate 81 and after Jimmy gave me some details I started detecting for about an hour, did some east west and north south gridding, even had to remove a drainage grill on the ground to see if it had gone inside the drainage line. Fortunately, after about an hour, the ring was found and Jimmy was one very happy husband! He won’t let that happen again I guarantee you, lol 😁 the Lord was looking out for him today, he said he had lots of people giving him prayers that the ring would be found, and it was 🙏🙏🙏

Nadia contacted me hoping I could help in finding her ring. She had lost it a local SoCal beach while playing volley ball with her family. The family was on vacation from Idaho, and did not want to leave without her ring. I let them know I would be there as fast as I could get there.

When I got there Nadia showed me what happened, and gave me a general area of where the ring might be. I began my search pass after pass, finding a few pieces of metal until I got a good tone in the head phones. I dug, and there in the scoop was a beautiful class ring that I was able to give back to Nadia. The family was very happy that they would be able to go back home with everything complete.

Lost White Gold Wedding Band at Paradise Cove Beach…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This ring find began last month when I was contacted by Robbie from Woodbury, Minnesota.  While enjoying the waters of Paradive Cove lagoon his White Gold Wedding Band fell off and disappeared in waist deep water.  Like the other Ko Olina lagoons the sand is so soft rings just disappear.  After a bit of confusion as to who was trying to contact me, Robby contacted me by phone to coordinate the hunt.  I agreed to go after work Friday 18 April with ideal surf & tide conditions. When I arrived it started to pour down rain but I’m in the water so not a problem.  I was just hoping the sun would come back out to warm me up.  Surely it did and the hunt became that much more pleasant.  Robby sent me a pin drop of the estimated location but I decided since I had a few hours I would start on the South end and work Northward.  I found a few coins and two little girl bling rings.  Then in waist deep water I got a nice tone on the Manticore and in one scoop there was Robby’s White Gold Wedding band in the scoop.  I immediately went to my car to text Robby a pic and he confirmed the recovery.  His pin drop was spot on the location.  That was a first.  Most are way off! Robby got his ring today in the mail and sent me a “Shaka & a Smile”.  Aloha to Robby!

I received a call from Eric wondering if I could come and help find his wife’s ring lost in the sand at the beach. I was available, and let him know that I could come immediately.

When I got to the beach Eric met me, as his wife had left already. He showed me where they believed the rings were lost, and how the loss occurred. I readied my equipment, and then began my search. Eric had stayed in the area, and kept it secure, so the search was pretty quick, and I was able to hand him his wife’s rings, which made for a happy ending to a nice day.

Lost Gold & Diamonds Custom Signet Ring at Kahanamoku Lagoon Waikiki…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This ring find began when I got a call from Nai who lives on the North Shore of Oahu and was enjoying the day at Hilton Hawaiian Village Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon.  While carrying his baby daughter in waist deep water he noticed his wife Zhelle’s ring he had been wearing went missing.  He knew the exact area but the water was very murky where he was looking and he could not find it. I told Nai I would be there in about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.  Thankfully, he had a spot reserved for me to park as it was totally packed.  When I arrived Nai & his lovely wife Zhelle met me in the parking lot and walked me over to the area to hunt.  I wasn’t 10 feet in and got a nice tone…darn it was a nickel.  I walked out to the end of the first grid line and turned around two steps and boom target screaming in the Manticore.  It took a few scoops to get the target in the scoop but when I finally did Wow, what a beautiful ring it was.  Nai and all their friends were so grateful and gave many thanks.  So happy to help!  Aloha to Nai & Zhelle!

Metal Detector Man can find Tungsten Rings Lost in the Sand

  • from Newport Beach (California, United States)

Metal Detectors can find all types of metal call Stan the Metal Detector Man if you need information to help, find your lost metallic item.. Call or Text ..   Stan  .. 949-500-2136

*** Steve and his family, from Utah, were vacationing at a SoCal Beach when he lost his tungsten wedding ring. The loss happened when he was throwing a football. He did feel the ring come off his finger the moment it happened, which is always nice to know before going on a search. Often we get calls where the person thinks the ring was lost because they had been playing football. They only think that’s where it came off their finger.

Steve’s first question to me was, can a metal detector detect tungsten rings? I told him yes and proceeded to ask him to wait at the location. I would be there within 30 minutes to find his ring.

This time of year traffic and parking are not a problem. We met on the beach where Steve and his had still enjoying their day in the Southern California sunshine. I set up a grid search area of 40ft. x 40ft because heavy mens rings are subject to go much further than most people understand.

We were lucky to start on the best side of the grid layout which the recovery fast. It gets a little frustrating to search a large area and not find the item until you’re just about to run out of possible search area.

Steve was very appreciative and told me he had no idea that this type service existed. One of my goals is to inform the public that there are experienced metal detector professionals that can find lost sentimental items. It was my pleasure to meet Steve and to be available to help him.

  • from Newport Beach (California, United States)

If you need a metal detector expert to help you, Call or Text .. Stan the Metal Detector Man ..949-500-2136

*** I was parked at Newport Beach pier eating lunch in my car, when I received a call from Hau. His wife had dropped her Platinum wedding band in the sand at Balboa Beach two miles away from where I was parked.

He told me they had been searching the sand for almost two hours with no success. I always have my detector in my car, so I could meet them in 15 minutes.  I didn’t need to ask very many questions after they said it was in a small area where they were sitting.

I  drove directly to a parking space less than 25 yards from where they waited for me. It was another quick recovery, probably less than 10 minutes after turning on my metal detector.

They were very happy to have the ring recovered. Hau said, he was impressed at how fast I was able to get to his location. It’s not always like that, in the summer it can take as long as an hour just to find a parking place.

Don’t waste time, call ASAP.. I’m available to answer your questions .. We can usually tell if your loss can be found with my equipment. “I WILL TRY ANYWHERE”

Lost Cell Phone Found in Valencia

Lost Your Ring, Keys, or Phone in Valencia, Newhall, or Santa Clarita? Call Dave The Ring Finder!
This afternoon, I connected with Ryan, whose son lost his cell phone after a fun family day at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia. They had pulled over on their way home to stretch, somewhere near Newhall or Santa Clarita, but Ryan wasn’t sure of the exact spot. With Ryan now three hours away, I headed out to search without my metal detector—just using my eyes and determination.
The area near Santa Clarita was large, and the kids had been running around, so I began gridding the site.
cell phone recovery by dave the ring finder
After several passes, it was clear the phone wasn’t where Ryan thought. Thinking it might have been placed on the car and fallen off, I searched along the roadside. Sure enough, just three feet from traffic in the Santa Clarita dirt, I found the phone! A bit dusty but fully functional, it was lucky no one ran it over.
Since Ryan was out of town, I mailed the phone back from a local Valencia post office. As any parent knows, kids need their phones!

LOST PLATNIUM ENGAGEMENT RING IN CAMDEN, SC…..FOUND!!!!!

  • from Raleigh (North Carolina, United States)

Received a call Wednesday from a gentleman who’s wife had lost her engagement ring while they were out fishing.

They had rented a boat to enjoy spending some quality time fishing together. Just before they were to be putting things away to start heading back, She caought a big catfish and lost her engagement ring mins after the photo was taken. She actually had lost both wedding and engagement but the wedding ring fell in the boat while the engagement feel in about 3-4 feet of water. He tried jumping into the cold water to see if he could save his wife’s ring but sadly with no success. She was understandablly so upset and have been crying.

Thats where I come into the picture. I had to prepare my boat, get my gear ready as I had to plan for a 2.5 hour drive 1-way along with having to cross from the boat ramp side to the other side of the lake to the spot where she lost the ring.

I arrived at 10:00 am, he arrived at about 10:40 and we made the boat ride to the other side. We started where he was pretty confident where she lost it. After a few pulltabs, can pieces, and 2 hours later, I get a good signal that sounds right on top as it should be! After a few scoops I see a platinum diamond ring in the basket!!! By 12:30 ish the ring had been returned. Had to wait for him to get home before he could take a picture of his wife and her happiness!

He told me, “This was so worth it to help my wife stop crying!”

I love helping people find their lost priceless items!!
