The Ring Finders San Diego Metal Detector service is here to help you find your lost buried treasures. Call or text Curtis Cox @ 760 889 2751.

If you have lost your precious jewelry and are in need of help then you found the right person to help.  Just like Steven did in San Diego North County when he realized his Platinum wedding band disappeared into the dry sand in Solana beach.

That particular Saturday when the call came in I was exhausted from a vigorous 3.5hr search for a lost engagement ring,,In bed & not feeling well..But oh well,,,Like a pirate we only rest when the sea is calm so I sailed on thar.  Steven showed me the area he had his ring in a chair pocket prior that day,,I turned on my metal detector and quickly found it within a minute!  He was so relieved to have his precious ring back in his hand.

Good thing he called right away,,His Ring would have eventually been found by pirate treasure hunters that raid theses beaches Morning & night in San Diego. I actually drove to there this morning & saw a guy metal detecting  in the same area I found it!

Necklace lost in lake, Metal Detector near me, Egg Harbor City NJ, recovered by Edward Trapper, NJ Ring Finder

  • from Lavallette (New Jersey, United States)

Karla sent me an email asking if I could help find her necklace, which had been lost in the lake a few days earlier. After gathering the details, she seemed confident I could assist. We arranged to meet after dinner on a day that worked for both of us.
I arrived early and waded into the cold lake water to begin my search. Starting in knee-deep water, I planned to work my way deeper if needed. When Karla arrived a short while later, we confirmed that the area I was searching was a good spot. She was certain the necklace had fallen off somewhere within a 50-foot section. So, path by path, I combed through the water, moving deeper each time—eventually up to my chest—without detecting much.
I started to wonder if someone else with a metal detector had already been there. Then, suddenly, my detector gave off a signal. This time, I was almost certain it was Karla’s necklace. Moments later, I scooped it up.
I made my way back to shore slowly, keeping my head down, not wanting to give anything away just yet. Karla and her friend were waiting, and from the look on her face, she seemed to think I was about to give up. But when I held up the scoop and told her to take a look, her eyes lit up instantly. Tears of joy rolled down her face as she realized her necklace was found.
We talked for a while, and she shared some of the history behind the necklace. It was clear how much it meant to her. Another recovery in the books for the 2024 season.

Platinum Wedding Ring Lost from Backpack in Sand at Newport Beach, CA. .. Found in a Night Time Search

  • from Newport Beach (California, United States)

Successful recoveries have to be done in a timely manner. Timing is very important, If you lose something on the beach or any public location, don’t wait. Call as soon as possible . Stan the Metal Detector Man .. 949-500-2136 .. I will answer the phone 24/7..

***Dan called me late after sunset asking for help to find his Platinum Wedding Ring. Most likely lost in the sand in Newport Beach, CA. He and his family are staying in a beachfront vacation rental home. Their first day on the beach did not go well. He put his platinum wedding ring in a backpack while the family set up at the towel line for their day on the beach.

Returning to the beach house, Dan went to the backpack to retrieve his wedding band. It was not in the backpack. He was thinking it must have been pulled out because other items being removed may have caused the ring to come out falling in the sand.

I arrived on the beach in the dark, soon after Dan called me. When I arrived there was another guy with a metal detector that volunteered his help. I  asked that he keep some distance because often other detectors can interfere with each other. Either way I would have to search the whole area anyway. I wasn’t confident of his experience metal detecting. Also he didn’t have a sand scoop.

We had to do the search now. Tomorrow the beach cleaning machines would be hitting the towel line as early as 5am.. Our problem this night was getting in the general area where they had been earlier that afternoon. Dan gave me an area to start, but his daughter believed they were actually 50 yards south.  Now it gets a bit confusing, I’m used to this happening. I take the first idea and do a thorough grid search, making sure I don’t get distracted. There will be plenty of time to get both areas searched.

After about ten 40 foot passes on my grid search. I found Dan’s platinum wedding ring.  He had never lost or misplaced it in over 25 years of wearing it. He said this made him realize how important it was to have it back where it belongs. I also learned to stay on track and not get distracted by the many ideas of where it could have been lost.. Patience, Persistence, the Best Equipment and Experience  paid off again.

Your privacy is very important to me especially in stressful momements. Please trust me to help you find your sentimental keepsake . I’m available to answer any questions about how this service works and if we have a chance to find your lost item.. “I WILL TRY ANYWHERE “  Calliing me anytime is the most the best and the most successful approach .. Lost Gold Diamond Ring at Doheney State Beach, Dana Point,CA.

  • from Newport Beach (California, United States)

Courtney needed  help to find her lost gold diamond wedding ring lost a couple hours before contacting Stan The Metal Detector Man.. If you’ve lost a metallic item call Stan at 949-500-2136 .. I will answer the phone we don’t need to waste time texting and heaving playing voice mail tag.

*** Courtney and her friends were laying on the sand at Doheney State Beach, Dana Point, CA. She put her gold diamond wedding ring on her towel while applying sunscreen. An hour later she remembered what she had done. The ring was missing after they had moved their belongings further down the beach.

Next step was to try finding it by sifting the sand by hand. That’s when a bystander suggested she go to the internet to find a metal detector service. He specifically told her my name.

After a short phone conversation with her, I got into my car to make the 20 mile drive. She and her friends were waiting guarding the location. Which was very important to make this a quick successful recovery.  That’s what I promised Courtney as she was sure her prized possession was lost forever in the mass of sand.

Shortly after arriving I walked from the parking lot to her location, passing many curious beach goers and people in the outside resturant. A guy with a metal detector and shovel type sand scoop always draws attention. A few minutes later I recovered the beautiful diamond ring while everybody was watching. Courtney gave me a big hug and everybody nearby applauded.  It feels good for people to see us in action, most times our recoveries are very private. More people should know what we do.. or more people should know this service exists. Don’t just give up on your lost sentimental keepsake.

Lost Platinum Trio Bridal Set Rings Found in White Lake Michigan

  • from Detroit (Michigan, United States)

Out of Pocket…..

….. Is a phrase that’s been around awhile and usually the first thing that comes to mind of what it is, is perhaps paying your upfront share for a script, or an auto/home deductible claim. But none of these examples were on Curt’s mind other than wondering if he would need to pay for another ring out of pocket for his wife’s ring that went missing. It all started when his wife Kat took the dog out for an evening walk. Planning a long walk, she took all the things to clean up after the dog and put them in her pockets. Strolling across the wet grass in the yard they set out onto the pavement. Upon returning it started to rain so she started to jog and nearing the house she pulled her keys out of her pocket. After drying off she noticed her ring missing. Checking the pavement areas after the rain stopped brought no luck. I decided to grid search the front yard with my MXT metal detector where she thought they cut across upon leaving and returning. The grass was thick, but no junk signals were detected. Out near the edge of the grass I got a loud signal and meter read that I knew was something good. Pinpointing the signal and pushing the grass out of the way revealed Kat’s ring! Curt and Kat came running over and couldn’t believe that’s where it was! For the first time in their lives this out-of-pocket loss had a 100% return!

Lost Subaru Electronic Car Key .. Bolsa Chica State Beach.. Found by Metal Detecin Service

  • from Newport Beach (California, United States)

Find lost electronic car key by using a Mobile Metal Detecting Service … Call or text  Stan the Metal Detector Man..  949-500-2136

*** I was called the morning after Danny lost his electronic Subaru key at Bolsa Chica State Beach. He was desperate to find the key as the cost of replacing it was going to be very expensive.

When I arrived at the location I was able to search the area around where he had been the day before. Danny met me an hour later to show me where he and his family had been set up for the day.

Unfortunately, there was a family already occupying the spot. This was not the first time I had to wait for a group to leave a potential location of a lost item. Almost always, I wait till the people leave . If I get a call at peak beach hours, I arrange the search till after most people leave the beach.

This time I didn’t have long to wait as the key was found very close to where the family was camped and they were not inconveniently interrupted. Danny was very happy to save the expense of having his electronic car key replaced. The quote he got was over a thousand dollars. Plus the aggravation of having to get the work done. A very nice guy and it felt good to help him.

Lost Gold Wedding Band at Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Waikiki…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This ring find began when I got a text from Alex who was on vacation from Middle Village, New York and staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.  While running into the water with his husband Giorgio, Alex’s Yellow Gold Wedding Band fell off and disappeared.  It was 8PM but they tried for an hour with goggles and a flashlight to find the ring but couldn’t find anything.  I agreed to hunt the next morning but they had a 6AM flight to Maui.  This was going to be a recovery then mail back to New York.  I arrived at first light and started a grid search from the map Alex provided.  About ten minutes into the hunt in waist deep water I got a nice low tone on the Manticore and in one scoop there was Alex’s Gold ring glistening in the scoop.  I took a pic and texted it to Alex on Maui and he was obviously very relieved.  He just got back home from vacation today and sent me the Shaka and a Smile pose with his ring back on his finger.  Aloha to Alex & Giorgio!

***Shelby needed help finding  her lost diamond  engagement and wedding rings . She called Stan the Metal Detector Man  located in Newport Beach, CA. If you need help anywhere in Southern California Call or Text  Stan at 949-500-2136 .. Email Stan@metaldetector man.com

***Shelby lost her diamond engagement ring and wedding ring in the surf at Newport Beach, CA. She found my contact information online doing a  Google search for metal detecting service help Newport Beach.

After talking with Shelby we determined the loss occurred when she was waist deep at a high tide. The beach she was at is basically packed sand. So I had expectations of a successful recovery at the next low tide.

When I showed up later that evening there were two other guys with metal detectors working the low tide. I know there is always a chance they can find the ring. Not to worry, I know where the ring was lost, so I have an advantage.

Shortly after starting the search, I got a great signal, which turned out to be a beautiful 1.7ct solitare diamond ring and the gold diamond wedding ring , 18” apart. They were Shelby’s rings . I called her as soon as I could. She doesn’t need to worry any more than she has already. It was definitely my pleasure to help her find such special sentimental memory of her life.

Wedding Ring lost in the sand, Surf City NJ, LBI, recovered by Edward Trapper, NJ Ring Finder

  • from Lavallette (New Jersey, United States)

It was a beautiful day at the Jersey Shore, the perfect opportunity for Lisa and her friends to enjoy some time at the beach. What they didn’t plan for, however, was losing her rings in the soft, sugar-like sand so typical of these beaches. After searching for a while with no luck, someone in the group suggested calling NJ Ring Finder for help. Having heard about many successful recoveries on Long Beach Island and nearby areas, they were hopeful it wouldn’t be a wasted call.

Once I got the call, we arranged to meet shortly after. As I walked down the dune path towards the beach, I saw the group gathered in a large circle around their chairs, securing the area where the rings were lost. After a quick conversation to get the details, I got to work, carefully moving my metal detector’s coil back and forth across the sand.

Within just a few passes, the detector gave off a low, steady tone. I had a strong feeling this was it, and sure enough, BINGO—it was her ring! Everyone was amazed at how quickly the recovery happened.

Another successful search in the books. I love this job—saving vacations and creating lasting memories!
