Grandmother’s ring recovered in Asbury Park by Dennis Burlingame

Got a call asking if I could help with a recovery in Asbury Park. While enjoying the day at the beach Anna’s grandmother’s ring flew off her hand and disappeared into the sand. She asked her fiancé to look up metal detector on google, thinking they’d buy one and in doing so found Ring Finder instead. I gave her a call and met up with her at the beach. She took me where they were sitting and in a short amount of time she had her grandmother’s ring back on her hand. They asked not to have their pictures posted. All in all a happy Anna and a great ending to the day.

Wedding Band recovered in Asbury Park NJ by Dennis Burlingame

Got a call from fellow Ring Finder Matty St Germain asking if I can go do a recovery in Asbury Park to help Kevin locate his wedding band he lost whole shoveling out his car from a recent snow storm. While shoveling he fell into the snow then noticed his ring was missing. I met up with him the next day where his car was parked and after a short time I found his ring in the snow bank. Another Happy return.

Wedding Set Recovered in Long Branch by Dennis Burlingame

Got a call from fellow Ring Finder Matty St Germain asking if I could go to Long Branch for a recovery. He gave me the number to Andrew who was on the beach for Labor Day with his family, and mom and dad. Seems his mom after getting settled in took off her rings to put lotion on and placed them on her lap and got distracted. Went to move her chair then remembered her rings but it was to late. 3 rings totaled but they could only find 1 sifting through the sand with their hands. He was on his way to get a rake to see if that would help when they found Matty on Ring Finders and called out to him. He couldn’t make it so he called me. Andrew’s father met me and took me down to the beach where they were sitting and showed me where mom was sitting and where they found the first ring. I checked from the chair out to the area they found the first ring and within a foot of where that one was I found the other two. Please excuse the photos, in a rush I left on phone in my car and had to have the dad take the pictures for me. All in all a Happy Ending for all and they can go and enjoy the rest of the holiday.

Wedding Set recovered in Ocean Grove NJ by Dennis Burlingame

Was just sitting down to eat and I got a call from fellow Ring Finder Matty St Germain asking if I could run to Ocean Grove to look for a lost wedding set. Said I would and loaded up the detector and headed out. I called Dascha and told her I was on my way and asked where to meet her. She was on the beach enjoying the day with her husband Gregg. She wanted to go down to the water and handed Gregg her rings to hold on to so not to lose them. Gregg slipped them on his pinkie finger but he also just put on lotion. He got up and walked down to the water edge to be with Dascha and then noticed the rings were missing. Dascha went on google and found Ring Finders and called Matty but he couldn’t go so he reached out to me. They were waiting for me on the beach and with luck would have it, it started to rain. I asked Gregg to mark the path he took to walk down to the water and told them no need to stay in the rain because I didn’t know how long it was going to take. They took their chair and headed to the car and I figure the best place to start was where they were sitting. Started detecting around where the chair was and first target was her band, detected a little more in the area and not to far was her engagement ring. I started to walk off the beach and called them and she was still on the boardwalk because Gregg was getting the car. She couldn’t believe I found them already and was so glad and grateful to have her rings back where they belonged. Great Happy Ending to a rainy afternoon.

Wedding Band recovered in Long Branch NJ by Dennis Burlingame

Got a call from Fellow RingFinder Matty St Germain asking if I could do a recovery in Long Branch because he was busy and couldn’t make it. I called Katie and told her i’d be able to help her and should be to the beach club she was at within a half hour. Katie met me at the entrance of the club and took me to the spot she was sitting when she lost her ring. Seems she took off her ring to put lotion on and placed it on a towel on her beach chair and forgot it was there. The towel was taken off the chair and the ring went flying. While searching for the ring in the sand someone mentioned Ring Finders seeing Matty and I have been to the club a few times before, and they kinda knows us. I started searching and the first target turned out to be trash but after moving over a few feet I heard the tone I was hoping for and said your ring should be right here. I pushed the sand away with my foot and there was her ring. She beat me reaching down to get it ,she was so excited to see it again. So glad I was able to return her ring to her. Always a great feeling. She told me I saved the day. Another Happy Ending….

Wedding Band Recovered in Sea Bright NJ by Dennis Burlingame

While sitting home I got a call from fellow RingFinder Matty St Germain asking if I could do a recovery in Sea Bright seeing he was already on his way to another. I called John at Sea Bright and told him i’d be there as soon as traffic would let me. Seem that while taking off his ring to put in his backpack to take a dip in the ocean, he pulled a little to hard and the ring flew off his finger into the sand. He tried to find it himself sifting through the sand with his fingers but with no luck. He had to leave the beach and had friends keep a eye on the spot they were sitting he even made a mound in the sand to mark the spot just in case, because he was planning on coming back down later in the day to look again for himself. But while home he found RingFinders on line and called Matty for help. I got to the beach and John took me to where he was sitting and I wasn’t having luck till I got to the mound of sand he made. I heard a light tone and kicked the sand around to flatten the mound some and the tone got louder and sure enough there was his ring.  It was great to give John back his ring. The thing is you can always buy another ring but it just isn’t the same as the one that your spouse puts on your finger when married. Another Happy Ending…
