When Danielle googled “how to find a ring in ocean” the search returned a blog from the ring finders (it was the first search result)! Then a search for Ring Finders Falmouth led her to my past blogs and contact information.

I received a call from Danielle with a tale of loosing a ring her dad given her 10 years ago. “I look up to and care deeply for my father and I also sentimental feelings in that the ring reminds me of home (where I’m from, in New Jersey).”

The ring was the second ring she had lost, the first was lost in an almost identical situation 10 years ago (playing football in the water at the beach). She vowed to never wear a ring again when doing that, and was pretty good for a number of years before she slipped up. This time the sea was at high tide and the waves were one footers. But I knew the beach and thought I could find it, if Danielle lost the ring where she thought it came off her finger.

I showed up and was getting ready for the search when Danielle and her friend Kelly showed up to point out the area. The help was instrumental in my finding of the ring. I had only minutes before the tide reached its peak height. I started to search as far out as I could go and worked my way toward the shore. I did not hear a signal until my 5th pass when I heard it – the sound that I was sure was the ring – and it was.

I did not remove the ring from my scoop, I left that to Danielle. It added just a bit more to the ordeal that I am sure will be remembered for some time to come.

Dana posted on several local Facebook discussion pages that she had lost her ring in her yard and needed to borrow a metal detector. Thankfully she was referred to me from a member of one of the groups who gave me another referral a few months ago. Dana contacted me and said that she was certain that she had lost her silver, blue diamond ring while mowing the grass and pulling weeds. As it turns out, Dana lived only about two minutes from me! We set up a search that same day and I began by checking some piles of pulled weeds in the front yard. I then moved to the back yard and began the gridding process using Dana’s mowing pattern. No luck in the back so we proceeded to the side yard and then to the front where she finished mowing. Dana was beginning to look discouraged because she was certain that the ring had slipped off her finger in the back yard and there was only a small patch of thick grass in the front yard left to be searched. Dana had followed me the entire time but went into the house for a moment to speak to her husband Will. Checking the last area, I hit that solid 28-29 I was looking for on my Nox 600 and immediately saw the ring. At the same time, Dana and Will came out of the house and I told them that I had found something they needed to see. You Ring Finders know what happens from that point on! Lost Ring Randolph NJ… Found!!

LT contacted me after losing his wedding band at the beach.  He had placed it in a zipper pocket in his tent and forgot to zipper the pocket.  When he was getting ready to go home the ring was nowhere to be found.  We made plans and met up at the local beach in Randolph NJ where he had lost the ring.  LT was great, he knew exactly where he had been sitting and was able to outline an area to help narrow down the search area!  I started searching the area that he had outlined, and I was able to locate the ring in about 20 mins.   So happy I was able to help reunite ring and owner! 🙂 And remember, if you have lost an item take note of the exact area you are in with landmarks or pins on Google maps.  It really helps in locating any item you have lost!

Lost Ring Under Deck. Another find for the Calgary Ring Finder

Haylee called me. Her great, great grandmother’s ring dropped between the boards of the deck. She looked immediately, looked later, had the boards pulled up and had several other people look as well. Two weeks passed and it was till not found.  She called me to help out. I followed along as she shared her story. Based on what she said and the conditions present, she should have already found it herself.  I picked up where she left off and couldn’t find it either. Engagement Ring Lost In Surf Found On Topsail Beach

Alison was out on a boogie board that had a break in the foam causing the nose to dive down.  This caused Alison’s hand to plunge hard into the sandy bottom.  She felt her engagement ring get pulled off of her finger.  About an hour after the loss, she found out about Crystal Coast Ring Finders.  After speaking to her I loaded my equipment and headed to the Topsail beach location.  A through grid search only provided 2 wires and a newer penny.  I extended the search area to the west and received a strong signal on the Minelab Equinox 800.  Before attempting to recover the item, I looked at Alison and her husband with my fingers crossed.  Before Alison’s husband could get to me, I had her lost engagement ring in my hand.

Ring Lost During Emerald Isle Vacation Found Before Metal Detector Purchase

Lost Gold Wedding Band Watch Hill Carousel, Westerly Rhode Island… Found!

A ring was lost in the surf while a dad and son were digging holes in the sand. The low tide surge washed up and pulled the ring off dad’s finger. The family tried their luck with metal detecting at the beach, but searching the shore for lost objects proved difficult. A week went by, and the family started searching online where they finally came across my website. We had a conversation about the lost ring but realized I could not search the beach for his wedding band until after the family had to leave to go back home. A couple of days later, I found the wedding band using an XP metal detector and high-frequency coil on the saltwater beach.

Minnesota Lost Ring Metal Detecting River

Patrick and his wife were getting ready to tube down the Cannon River in Minnesota, while getting on the tube, Patrick saw his wedding band come off his hand and he tried his best to grab it. The ring disappeared into the river, about waist deep with a very rocky bottom. He tried to find it, and just couldn’t get it. He searched for help on the internet and found theringfinders.com – I met him down by the river and decided that scuba would be the best as the bottom was full of huge rocks and there is no way I could use a scoop to try and recover any signals. I found a few coins and some garbage as usual, though it only took about 15 – 20 minutes and that nice tone rang in my ears. I knew it was the ring.

Ring lost at Imperial Beach found

“Sam” and Gretchel were enjoying a day at Imperial Beach. Sam took his ring off and put it on their blanket. Later, Gretchel moved the blanket to a another location close by and the ring was swallowed up in the dry sand. Gretchel did an online search and found TheRingFinders.com website and my contact information. I gathered my gear and headed to meet them. I actually found a parking spot right across the street from where they were camped! A minor miracle in itself for a Sunday afternoon in the dead of summer. After finding out the story and ring description, I found the ring after only 3 short passes and maybe 2 minutes or so. Gretchel was relieved that Sam’s sentimental ring was found. A pleasure to meet you both and thank you for the reward.
