Just 3 days before Christmas…

A Christmas miracle story about a man who was cleaning his roof and noticed that his wedding band was no longer on his finger an hour later… He had no idea where the ring could have come off but he assumed it came off his finger when he was throwing leaves and branches off his roof. After searching with no luck this man pretty much gave up ever thinking he would see his ring again.

Three months later and only three days before Christmas his daughter goes to rent a metal detector hoping she could find it and give it to her father  for a Christmas gift.

After researching on the Internet for metal detector Nicole stumbles across The Ring Finders website, that’s when she contacted me to find out if I could help her. I was excited for the challenge and met Nicole at her fathers home,  after 30 minutes of agonizing nail signals I eyeball the ring on the dirt almost covered by a leaf. I was very excited knowing that Nicole would be able to surprise her father for Christmas. I was very honored knowing he was married  for 56 years and that his ring was found to continue that amazing story of love!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I was at work when I received a phone call from a gentleman who told me that his daughter had lost her ring at the park. He asked if I could help her,  I said of course, I asked him to have his daughter call me so I can discuss the search time and place.

After talking to Sabrina for approximately 10 minutes in regards to her lost ring, I felt confident we would find it. I also knew how important it was to find because it was gifted to her by her late grandmother, this ring meant the world to her! I could hear it in her voice!

I arrived at 9 PM on the side of the street where I met Sabrina and her father, we walked to the park and she show me what had happened and where she was sitting when the ring came off her finger. I did a reenactment and watch my ring land on the sidewalk, this made me think if they hadn’t checked the sidewalk someone may have already found it. Sabrina was very confident that she saw the ring bounce up off the pavement and go into the bushes along the side of the walkway.

I started my search and after close to an hour and a half and no ring I decided to look under the bench that she was sitting on, to my surprise there was her beautiful gold ring! It was very dark so I put the ring in my hand and told them I needed to go back to my car and get another metal detector.

I did this because it was so dark I knew I wouldn’t be able to get the footage of her smile and reaction when I surprised her with the ring… When we got to the car I started up my camera and videotaped her by asking  a couple of questions about the ring and the search.

I love getting the reactions of people for the first time when they see their ring… it’s priceless!!

I get a call from a young lady that told me her husband lost his titanium wedding band at 3rd beach in Stanley park. After asking a few questions I find out that he lost the ring 2 days ago, that’s a long time to be lost on a public beach. I looked up the low tie and it’s 10 am the next morning, so I get up at 4:30 am and head to the beach to hunt the water as its going out. I had to be at work at 10 am so I needed to find the ring quickly.

When I get there I kill some time searching the dry sand as the tide goes out, I was getting lots of change and lots of garbage but it wasn’t why I was there. Tide was starting to go out so I hit the area the ring was in and I start to do my grid search. After around 45 minutes of searching I get a good signal and one scoop later I see his Black titanium ring.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I love what I do and I’m happy to get up anytime and go anywhere to help find a lost smile! The internet is amazing! A place where people can find help for pretty much anything…Now the public can have a 2nd chance to find what they thought was lost forever.

It was a hot Sunday evening when I got a call about a lost wedding band at Wreck beach, I listened to how he lost his ring in chest deep water and that he was only married 3 weeks and how important it was to find it. I asked him what time he lost the ring and checked my tide table cart and if I left right away I could get there and still have a chance to find it before the water got too deep.

It’s important to act quickly as there are a lot of people now a days searching low tides in the mornings. So I headed out and met the young couple and we headed down the 500 steps to the beach to find his ring. They showed me the area in around waste deep water and it only took around 20 minutes to locate.

I never get tired of seeing peoples smiles when I put that ring back in their hand!
