Dave called to ask if I could help find his wife Wendy’s wedding ring in Stone Harbor, NJ. She took the ring off to apply sunscreen but forgot it was there. When she stood up, the ring fell into the sand and quickly disappeared. We met shortly after the call and I was able to recover the ring. Bill took some time to wash his car while he was in Avalon, NJ this weekend. After he was finished, he took a ride over to his friend’s home. On the ride there, he realized his gold wedding band wasn’t on his finger, so he immediately went back to look in the driveway but couldn’t find it. His wife, Carol, remembered me from another lost ring recovery and told him about me. He called, gave me the information and we planned to meet to find the ring. I gathered the details of Bill’s movements to get an idea of where to search when I arrived. I started by getting down on the ground to visualize under the car but didn’t see anything. While still on the ground, I turned my head the other way and immediately saw the shiny gold band peeking out of the stones. He was ecstatic when his wedding band was found. Bill immediately put it back on! A great ending to a beautiful day!

Toleen lost her wedding set in Ocean City, NJ yesterday while spending the day with her family on the beach.  The rings were placed in the pocket of the beach chair and fell in the sand when she folded it up. Her daughter, Alexa, searched and found my Ring Finders South Jersey page when the family realized the rings were lost. While getting some preliminary information before searching, I asked if anyone took any pictures when they sitting on the beach. Her daughter, Liana, had a TikTok video with houses in the background that helped give an approximate location. After roughly 35 minutes of gridding the area, the rings were found! Now Toleen and her family can enjoy the rest of their vacation in Ocean City, NJ.

Matt and Alicia enjoyed a day on the beach with their sons in Sea Isle City, NJ on Wednesday. They arrived around 3 PM and set their chairs up near the water’s edge. Before applying sunscreen to herself and her sons, Alicia took her 4 rings off and layed them on her chair. As the tide came in, the chairs had to be moved back a few times. They packed up around 7 PM and returned to their house. Approximately an hour later, Alicia realized her wedding rings were missing. Matt gave me a call and we planned to meet at low tide. I gridded the wet sand and did not get any signals, so I expanded the search up to the dry sand. After gridding the dry sand for some time, I finally got a signal and dug up one of the 3 bands. The next signal was another band, followed by the engagement ring that is extremely sentimental because the diamond is a family heirloom. Thankfully, the last band was nearby and recovered!

Stephanie lost a very special ring at the bonfire in North Wildwood, New Jersey the other night. It was a ring that her mother gave her when she graduated high school. She didn’t realize it was missing until she got home, so she called me the next morning to help find it. She remembered that she took off her glove at one point and felt something drop on her shoe. She disregarded it because when she looked down a tube of lip balm was near her foot and just assumed it was that. I got to the beach before her and started to search near the bonfire. I got the signal pretty quickly and was able to return it before she knew it was found. We were all thankful for a small blessing on this holiday weekend!

LG gave me a call Saturday night about his lost wedding band in Stone Harbor, NJ. He was playing with his 3-year-old daughter in the water and she accidentally pulled it off of his finger. The challenge was that it was lost in the mud of the Stone Harbor Canal. It was nearly impossible to get out to the area since you sink around 2 feet down in the mud when trying to walk. I used the lucky duck float to maneuver out over the mud to the spot it could have dropped. I was able to lie down on the duck and swing the detector out in front of me. Once I got the signal, I was able to reach under the coil and dig it out. It was buried approximately 10 inches down. I pulled up the gold and platinum wedding band and showed it to LG. It just happened to be the 7 year anniversary of his engagement that it was returned.

Angela sent me a text about her daughter Hannah’s silver cross ring that was lost a few days ago on the beach in Ocean City, NJ. Hannah put the ring in her hat and set it on the beach blanket. She forgot it was there when she pulled up the blanket while packing up. Shortly after meeting Hannah and her brother Luke, the ring was found.

Al called me about his father’s lost gold chain that had a very precious item on it. In addition to his gold Cross, Morris wears his wife’s wedding band on the chain. He took the jewelry off before he went swimming and placed them on top of his bag. He didn’t realize they had fallen into the sand until later in the evening. I met up with Morris and Al on the beach in Wildwood Crest, NJ to find the jewelry. Shortly after looking with the metal detector, his chain was found and placed back around his neck with the Cross and the ring now close to his heart.

I received a text from Caroline about her lost ring in Sea Isle City, NJ. It is very sentimental because it’s the first piece of jewelry her boyfriend gave her. She put that ring and another one in her cup holder but forgot to tell her boyfriend they were in there, so both dropped in the sand when he closed the beach chair. I met her on the beach and started to search.
After a few scans with the metal detector, the rings were found!
