LOST WEDDING RING IN GREENSBORO, NC POND……FOUND!!!

  • from Raleigh (North Carolina, United States)

Received a text from a lady that said her husband of 51 years had lost his wedding ring at a small lake/pond while fishing with his grandkids.

As he was reaching to get a bobber he slipped and fell into the water. That’s when his ring slid off and he lost his cell phone in the process too. He found the cell but couldn’t find the ring. He also said a buddy of his tried to find it with his metal detector but since they didn’t come up with it, he thought it had to have gone deeper in the water/further out from the bank. Oh and the bank was made up of rip raft rock so that made it a bit more of a challenge.

I started scanning the rocks hoping they missed it and I wouldn’t need to get wet. I even scanned the waters edge before getting wet. I didn’t come up with a signal.

So I decided I had to get wet! I realized that I had forgot my weight belt, so fortunately they had two 10lbs weights that I was able to feed my belt through to hold me down, so i could scan the 3-5 feet water about 3-7 feet out.

After 4 hours of all that, I decided to scan the waters edge again (made like the 4th-5th time I had scanned this area between my two set ups)! I get a hit and I tell the gentleman, “I AM NOT SURE HOW I MISSED THIS SIGNAL LAST 3-5 TIMES!”

I grab my pinpointer, get near the waters edge and come up with a big GOLD RING!!! It had been less than a foot off the bank (where he lost his phone) and about 8 inches of water! UGH! Glad i found it but, well you know! Lol

We walk back to the house, his wife didn’t know I had found it yet. We go into the house and I say, “WELL WE GAVE IT A GOOD SHOT, BUT ALL FOUND WAS THIS GOLD THING!”

The transition from sadness/disappointment to literly tears of joy was priceless!! She comes up to me to take the ring and gave me a big hug, keep in mind im still soaking wet! She said I don’t care! Then she turned to her husband, they hugged and both cried a little more!

This is why I do this and what I live for/love to experience!

Rachel displays her beloved platinum wedding ring recovered by Ringfinder Bill Leasure

NORTHERN N.J. — Rachel was working hard to get her backyard ready for Summer when she noticed her platinum wedding ring was missing from her hand. After a thorough search of her yard, she reached out to NJ Ringfinder Bill Leasure to assist with the search.

Bill asked Rachel some preliminary questions to rule out common places where it may have been left. Upon arrival, Bill matched the signal with the ring’s pair and within minutes was pulling the ring out of the inner leaves of a plant near some newly-placed mulch.

After a weekend of yard work and an anxious night of worry, Ringfinder Bill Leasure recovered this ring for Rachel in NJ.

LOST PLATNIUM ENGAGEMENT RING IN CAMDEN, SC…..FOUND!!!!!

  • from Raleigh (North Carolina, United States)

Received a call Wednesday from a gentleman who’s wife had lost her engagement ring while they were out fishing.

They had rented a boat to enjoy spending some quality time fishing together. Just before they were to be putting things away to start heading back, She caought a big catfish and lost her engagement ring mins after the photo was taken. She actually had lost both wedding and engagement but the wedding ring fell in the boat while the engagement feel in about 3-4 feet of water. He tried jumping into the cold water to see if he could save his wife’s ring but sadly with no success. She was understandablly so upset and have been crying.

Thats where I come into the picture. I had to prepare my boat, get my gear ready as I had to plan for a 2.5 hour drive 1-way along with having to cross from the boat ramp side to the other side of the lake to the spot where she lost the ring.

I arrived at 10:00 am, he arrived at about 10:40 and we made the boat ride to the other side. We started where he was pretty confident where she lost it. After a few pulltabs, can pieces, and 2 hours later, I get a good signal that sounds right on top as it should be! After a few scoops I see a platinum diamond ring in the basket!!! By 12:30 ish the ring had been returned. Had to wait for him to get home before he could take a picture of his wife and her happiness!

He told me, “This was so worth it to help my wife stop crying!”

I love helping people find their lost priceless items!!

Gold Wedding Band Lost, Recovered and Returned in Media, PA!!!

  • from Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, United States)

Ron texted me after finding me in the Ring Finders Directory. He was doing some yard work at his home in Media, PA when his 45 year old gold wedding band slipped off his finger. He was 85% sure it fell off in his backyard. He had searched himself for 2-3 hours before calling a professional. I agreed to meet him the next day and upon my arrival he walked me through the area where he thought in fell off. A gold wedding band on the surface has a very unique signal…I also have the ability to zero in my machine on just gold signals. It was quite a large search area…but I started in the area where he spent the most time. 3-4 minutes into the search I received the signal I was hoping for…looked down…and there was his beautiful gold wedding band shining up at me!!! I called Ron  over and to say he was amazed and happy would be an understatement! I was so happy I was able to get his ring back on his finger!!!

Lost ring in Kirksville Mo…. Found with a metal detector

Contact:

A very nice young man named Kyle called me about trying to recover his 14K wedding band.

He was walking a friend’s dog on a leash in a park when the dog bolted for some reason twisting his fingers and his ring flew off.

He borrowed a metal detector but being unfamiliar with it couldn’t find the ring. This was his father’s ring so he really wanted to find it.

We were there a little over two hours, gridding different sections where the ring was lost when I found it. He was very happy to have it back.

Pendant lost at La Jolla Shores found

  • from La Jolla (California, United States)

Adam was playing ball at La Jolla Shores beach when he discovered that his necklace had broken and a treasured pendant was missing. He and his friends searched for it without success. A referral got him to TheRingFinders.com website and my contact info. When I received the call, I was out detecting with a buddy. We were about done anyway, so, we jumped into his car and headed to his house so I could jump into my truck and head out to the beach. When I got there I lucked into a parking spot and contacted Adam. Once on the site, I got the story and found the search area was relatively small. Less than 5 minutes later without a signal so far, I got a steady tone on my Equinox 900 and judging by it and the number readout that this was the probable target. Pin pointer poked into the sand located the object and sure enough, a beautiful pendant came to light. A happy Adam can now relax and enjoy the rest of the day and evening. A pleasure to meet you and thank you for the reward.

Lost cell phones, cash, credit cards and BMW fob in the Wekiva River , Orlando, Florida…found and returned to owner.

  • from Sanford (Florida, United States)
Contact:

As a good friend of mine always says, “Don’t waste time renting or borrowing a metal detector if you have never used one. Especially if your lost item is important to you. Call or contact an experienced metal detector expert.”

Deondre and his friend had rented some kayaks for the day and they both had secured their iphones in “waterproof” cases with lanyards and as they paddled down the river they came to a rough area and somehow they tipped their kayak and over they went. Only Deondre did not have his lanyard over his head and his brand new iphone slipped into the water and immediately disappeared. His friend called me and I met them an hour later and paddled out to the exact spot and searched for 3 hours but could not find Deondre’s lost cell phone…but I was able to recover an old water logged ziplock bag with all the contents still intact but completely soaked!

When I got home I cleaned everything up in fresh clean water and put a fan on and left it for 2 days. The money dried nicely and the fob was very dry as well and the credit cards would for sure be canceled and the iphones were…well one was toast and had swollen up and the other looked in very good condition still. So I plugged it in and it amazingly started charging but it was locked and the screen would come on but would not allow me to retrieve any information…even the Medical contacts. I tried looking on Google to see if I could find the person whose name was on the credit cards but there were just too many people with the same name so I resorted to calling the BMW dealer and asked if anyone had reported missing such a fob and when I mentioned the card holders name they said it matched someone in their system and I was given an email address and that info ended up being the husband of the young lady who lost the whole bag of goodies over a year ago!! They were shocked to hear that I wanted to return their lost iphones, credit cards, 114 dollars in cash and a BMW fob! It is always a real pleasure to return something and have a part in seeing the joy and surprise on peoples faces!
