Lost Ring at a Construction Site in Woolwich NJ

Kevin called me after a friend of one of my successful recoveries referred me. He lost his 

titanium wedding band while at work. He was at a large construction project, working with moving sprinklers & hoses from different lots. It could be on 1 of 4 lots. We agreed on a 6:30 am time for the search.

I met Kevin at the construction site. It is a huge new housing development. He showed me the 4 properties that he was working on. The lots were not that large. I started on the 1st one, no luck. Moved to the second lot, strike 2. The third lot was the biggest, strike 3. But I was not out yet…

The fourth lot, about 5 minutes in, I finally got a good tone. Spread the grass from the newly laid sod, and there was Kevin’s ring. I took some pictures, then called Kevin to come to the 4th lot. He showed up about 5 minutes later. I asked him if there was any other place it might be, he went to the bed of his pickup and started looking there. I held up his ring while we continued to look. The look on his face when he realized that I was holding his ring was priceless. He explained that he was leaving the next day for vacation with his wife & kids to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary. 

I asked him what his wife would say when she found out he had his ring back. He decided to FaceTime her while I was there. She couldn’t believe it when he held up the ring for her to see. I hope they had a GREAT vacation!

Lost Platinum Ring… Found in DeWitt, Iowa

Yesterday I found a platinum wedding band for Tim, who lost it while pulling weeds in his garden and moving the weeds and brush to a burn pile

He said he never had the band off in 22 years of marriage and his anniversary is on Friday. So he got it back just in time.

Received a call from a man in Naperville, Illinois.

Lost his 22k Gold Wedding band while  playing cricket in a field last night.

He purchased a metal detector but did not have any success.

After gridding out 4 corners in the field, I got lucky and started in the right corner, found it in about 10 minutes.

I was unloading bags of mulch from my truck bed. When I was taking a couple bags off my hand slipped and my wedding ring went flying. I didn’t see it flying in the air but heard it hit the deck to the side of the garage which has stairs that down one level. I could not tell if it was on top of the deck or side of the deck that the ring hit. But a heard a thud type sound and then the ring was gone. I looked around and could not see anything. I also borrowed a friend’s metal detector and could not find it. Jeremy came out and found it so fast I couldn’t believe it. Thank you so much!

Easter Sunday my wife was hiding eggs in the yard. Our engagement ring was previously stolen, so the tiny wedding band was all we had left. No idea where it flew off while dropping eggs. I figured it was gone for good, but just like Jesus, it came back!

Engagement Ring Recovered at St. Paul Animal Hospital – A Happy Surprise Ending!

My name is Paul Nolan with The Ring Finders. I was recently contacted by a woman who had lost her engagement ring while at work. She works the night shift at a local animal hospital in St. Paul and was taking a couple of patients (pets) outside for a potty break. Unbeknownst to her, one of the leashes somehow snagged and pulled her ring right off her finger. With no clear idea where it had come off in the dark, she was devastated.I told her I’d head out as soon as I could to help search. About three hours later, I arrived at the hospital. She met me in the parking lot, clearly heartbroken and emotional. I reassured her that these situations often have happy endings—we’d give it our best shot.It was a beautiful day: sunshine, about 45 degrees, a welcome break from the recent cold snap. We started the search at the spot where she’d begun her walk with the animals and methodically worked our way around the building, covering both sides of the driveway loop.We were about three-quarters of the way around, running out of likely areas, when she started to worry we’d missed it entirely. She was convinced the ring couldn’t be in the remaining stretch. We moved to a sidewalk along the road, bordered by a roughly 10-foot-wide grassy strip leading up to landscaping bushes at the front of the building. She walked the sidewalk while I grid-searched the grass uphill. I planned to split the area into two 5-foot-wide paths, each about 100 feet long. A sign post divided the access, so I went right and stuck to my line, intending to loop back along the sidewalk later. Just as I started into the grass, she looked down—and there it was! Her ring, lying about a foot into the grass right near the sidewalk edge. She spotted it herself and was absolutely elated. The relief and joy on her face were priceless. I’ve never really minded who actually makes the find—me with the detector or the owner with their eyes. What matters most is that the ring is recovered and back where it belongs, on the finger of someone who treasures it. We headed inside after the recovery, and the staff erupted in excitement. There was a lot of happy commotion—people congratulating her, hugging, celebrating. The attached photo captures that joyful (if slightly chaotic) moment of pure happiness. Newlywed’s Engagement Ring Recovered After Weeks Missing in Backyard

I received a call from a young lady named Kendall who was understandably upset. Her engagement ring had been missing for about two to three weeks. She had lost it somewhere in her backyard and despite searching multiple times, it was nowhere to be found.

Lost Rings (Bonne Terre, Missouri)

On February 8th I had just finished feeding my goats and came in the house and started washing dishes and realized my rings that I wear on my right hand were missing. They have been pretty lose with the cold weather but I didn’t actually believe they could slip off without me feeling it. So I began tearing the house apart with no luck. My husband came home from work on the 11th and with tears in my eyes I broke the news to him with great sorrow. I felt as though they were gone forever. My husband immediately started turning furniture upside down and checking every square inch of the house with no luck. My husband had an idea of calling a metal detector guy because he felt as though maybe the rings slipped off my finger while taking care of our goats. I was skeptical but figured why not. They started the search and just as they thought the rings were gone forever, the detector went off and my precious gems were found unharmed. Diamond Ring Lost in Snow in Rock Island…Found

During a snowfall last night as a nice gesture for her fiancé, Danielle was clearing snow from the windows of her fiancé’s car.  During the process of whisking the snow off of the vehicle, Danielle felt her new engagement ring slip from her finger and disappear into the freshly fallen snow.  She searched for the ring with her fiancé since the snowfall would continue through the night, but unfortunately they had no luck finding her ring.

After clearing the snow from my own driveway this morning, I received a call to search for Danielle’s lost ring.  The search area had not yet been cleared, the ring was on private property, and the search area was minimally disrupted, which were ideal conditions for the search.  I arrived early in the afternoon and I was able to locate Danielle’s ring in a clump of snow in the area where Danielle was certain the ring had slipped off her finger.  I reunited the ring with Danielle, and she was very grateful.  Merry Christmas, Danielle.  I wish you and your fiancé all the best.
