Lost Wedding Band recovered 8 years later
My family & I went up north Minnesota for our yearly vacation. We stayed at a resort on a lake and after chatting with the owners, we found out that a couple of people had lost there wedding rings while swimming in the beach area many years ago. Luckily I brough my scuba gear and detectors ” I never leave home without them” 😉 I found both missing rings within an hour of searching. These resorts have a lot of returning customers year after year. It just so happened that the owner of one of the rings was actually at the resort and we got to return that ring right away. The resort owners gave me the contact information for the other person who lost their ring and i contacted him. He has booked a stay up at the resort just a couple weeks away. I left the 2nd ring with the resort owners and I have not heard back. Though I am sure the ring made it back to the rightful owner. The owners said it was a great experience having the ring finders up there to find those lost valuable……….Glad we could help out!!!!!!

On my first official search for a wedding ring, I was able to find Diego’s wedding ring. He flipped a canoe near a friend’s cottage & lost 2 fishing poles & his wedding ring. The location was in ~18; in a bay of a lake. It took me about 1 hour to locate the “drop” area as the initial search location was not accurate for me. Note that the more accurate the “lost” location is, the better luck I will have in locating “your” treasure. I found the ring within 15 minutes of locating the fishing poles.
While staying for the weekend in Gaylord, MI for my grandsons baseball tournament I got a call from Mark D. who was staying in Leland, MI on vacation from Washington DC. He was at the beach on Monday and while wiping sun screen off his hands his wedding band catapulted off his finger into the sand. After looking for hours he went back to where he was staying and started searching on line for someone to find his ring. On Friday he came across THERINGFINDERS and gave me a call. It was about 4pm Friday evening when I got the call and told him it was a coincidence that I was in Northern Michigan and could get there in about an hour and a half, so off I went.
The hunt took less than 30 minutes so after Mark took care of my gas expense we took some pictures and he told me he would send me a copy of the video he took while I was looking for the ring.
Mr & Mrs R Spivey of London returned home very sad after losing a personalized engraved wedding ring in the sea off Bournemouth. The warm July weekend and large waves attracted many bathers and sadly many lost items of jewelry resulted. My first attempt was impossible. High waters, ripping current, large swell and waves made my attempts over the next three days very difficult and the likelihood of recovery almost nil. By some miracle, after a total of nearly 5 hours searching …. that ring found
Holiday maker Mrs L Smith from Oxford lost her beautiful matching wedding band in the soft white sands of Studland. A quick visit to the beach office to report her loss lead her to calling me at the Ring Finders. I arrived in no time, switched on my machine and found the ring in under 30 seconds! If only finding every ring this quickly was possible?! Mind you….. would it be as much fun??
