After getting home from another ring find I get a notice from my friend Gregg Larabel that there is another ring lost and they need help in finding it right now.   I called the number but it went right thru to voice mail so I just showed up at the volleyball court.   A group of people were having lunch nearby and I asked them if somebody had lost a ring in the volleyball court-their reply was yes but they did not know who it was.   I just grabbed my equipment and started to search for the ring.   Just got started and Allen and his wife show up, they had been sitting in a group outside their apartment and saw me start the search.   The ring that was lost was Allen’s wedding ring.   Allen showed me what he was doing when his ring flew off his hand and the direction he thinks it went.   I started my grid of that area and after finding 2 pennies the third target was his ring.   Allen gave me a big hug and we just saved another marriage. 

Got a call about a lost chain, cross and mementos. The only guidance was a street number and approximate location from the water at the beach. I had to do some gridding and ending up finding it about 1 foot from someones blanket! luckily they were not on top of it!

John called me last night and said he lost his platinum wedding band in about thigh deep water just south of the South Beach. He and his wife and kids are vacationing from California with friends and family for a couple of weeks. Larabel was busy so Tom Cleary agreed to meet me there this morning to find this ring. After about 2 hours of searching I was tired out and turned the detector over to John. Gave him a 2 minute instruction on how to handle the detector and he was off and running. After about an hour John calls me over and says he has a good reading on the detector that I had told him about. I helped him dig the target and there was his ring. We had been searching in too deep of water and his ring was only in water below the knees. John saved his own vacation memories with this find. John and Vanessa toasting the new found ring.

Gotta call from Rachel who is a local here in Key West.

She and her friends were having a blast jumping in and out of the water when she climbed back up onto the float she noticed right away that her solder 2 ring platinum band fell off.

After speaking to Rachel and getting the details. The ring was lost in 10’ of water. Not easy to move around under a Waterpark with my battery powered Blu3 nomad hookah system. So I decided to rent some tanks/gear to be able to freely swim and hunt under the float.
Because this float is owned by Furry water adventures . We had permission to go when they closed in the afternoon.  So I took my boat to the floating park. Got my gear on and went in the water.
As I’m underwater making my way over to the area she thought it was lost at. I Swung my detector back and forth picking up a target or two. As I get under the area I notice to my left the ring sitting on the sand . I knew right away it was her ring because it was lost the day before and it was soldered together sitting right on top of sand.  Right where she said she thought it had came off at.
It’s always an amazing feeling to see how grateful and appreciative the people get when they see their lost keepsakes that they thought was lost forever back in their hands.
     

Sarahs mother in law recently lost TWO precious gold diamond rings on a beach in Poole Harbour. They manage to recover one by hand but the other still eluded them.

I came over that evening fearing other detectorists might beach comb & come across it. Luckily after 5 minutes of searching up popped the ring. She was very pleased to have it back & kindly made a donation to the Margaret Green Animal Rescue Charity.

Alicia & fiance visited Studland Beach recently almost ruining their day when Alicia dropped her family ring from her pocket. They searched in vane for ages before I was finally contacted.

I met them on the beach & although they had searched the particular area the ring soon appeared.

They were extremely releived to get the ring recovered & made a kind donation to the Margaret Green Animal Charity.
