Lost Ring Found at Lake Louise in Banff

  • from Cochrane (Alberta, Canada)

Got a call from a California couple that lost a ring while having a snowball fight at the gorgeous Lake Louise in Banff National Park. They went back and met me there. Together we were able to recover the ring but not quite the way we were expecting. Watch the video for the whole story.

Platinum Ring Recovery

  • from St. Louis (Missouri, United States)

I was contacted on 6/4/204 to find a lost Platinum Ring. Here’s her story

Last week – on the way out of town (literally the family was in the car) – I decided I needed to water my plants on the patio. A decision I’d come to regret. The cicada game was fierce and I was watering with my right hand and swatting them away with my left. And then, I felt my wedding ring fly off my finger. But I didn’t see where it went – and didn’t hear it hit the patio and land. I was sure it was in one of the four bushes there – but with a few minutes of checking we gave up and decided we’d look upon our return Sunday.

Well, after a several hour Sunday search and three bushes dismantled branch by branch – we gave up and decided to get professional help.

I contacted Jeremy Conrad Roth from The Ring Finders and he said he could be out within a day. 🥳

Then, to add more fun variables to a horrible situation – the lawn care came while I was away and mowed the lawn where the ring could’ve been even though I contacted them and canceled. 😡😭

But, the next day – after a few hours of completely selfless work on Jeremy’s part (and after I started to lose hope a little) Jeremy did not give up and went in for another check of the original suspect bush and saved the day!! HE FOUND MY RING!!!

I may have to plant some new bushes by the patio – but I have my ring back!! If you ever need help finding a lost item – call him!

Lost White Gold Wedding Band at Aulani Lagoon Ko Olina Resort…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This ring find started when I got a text from Josh at Aloha Security stating a couple in Aulani Lagoon the husband lost his White Gold wedding band.  I called and met Josh at Lagoon 1 for the details.  Josh put me in touch with Glory who is Eli’s wife.  She described the area lost and I could hear Eli confirming.  Eli was in 3-4 feet of water when his ring came off probably from the sun tan lotion on his fingers.  I found a few trash targets then about 30 minutes into the hunt I got a nice tone on the Mantcore and after two scoops there was  a large white gold band in the scoop.  By the time I had gotten to my car Eli had texted me a pic of his ring and what I had was a perfect match.  Their home was in Makakilo along my route home so I dropped off the ring there.  Very gracious couple.  Aloha to Eli & Glory!

Randy called me about a set of keys that had been run over by a commercial lawn mower and the most important key was nowhere to be found. He and his son had walked the area numerous times hoping to find the keys but all they could see were bits and pieces of his truck fob/key. The lost keys were very important as they were the only keys he had that opened his storage shed/office and a master key to the apartment building that he owned and managed!

After a thorough search on the internet he finally came across theringfinders.com website and gave me a call. Upon hearing Randy’s story I figured the keys were there hiding in the grass and they may be whole or in pieces as the mower all but destroyed the fob and one key there were able to find. So later that afternoon I met Randy and he showed me the area and as I grid searched back and forth I realized the ground was loaded with trashy signals of all kinds so I concentrated on the strongest and most shallow signals and that helped me locate–first two bent up keys and the metal ring and then just a few steps away, the most important key! Randy was thrilled and relieved to have his keys back and could not stop saying thank you!

Lost something recently? How can I help? Call me ASAP at 321-363-6029!

Lost Class Ring, Pensacola Beach – FOUND!!!

  • from Orange Beach (Alabama, United States)

Last night was awesome!  I got a message from Terri about 8:30 explaining that her daughter had lost her class ring earlier in the day in the edge of the Gulf. She had Lilly call me and explain some of the details. I knew we had to find this ring because it was her class ring for her Undergrad and her Graduate degree. I cringed when I asked if they had put any info on social media and she said yes. I looked online and found the exact location in multiple spots. I knew this ring had to be found immediately so I asked my wife if she was up for a night trip. She agreed so we headed out right away. I spent about an hour getting beaten by the shore break and then decided to change my search pattern a bit. It wasn’t long after that when I heard a very deep gold tone and gently scooped out Lilly’s very meaningful gold and Diamond class ring. We all high fived and celebrated by the glow of the flashlights. I’m very glad everyone was up for a night trip and Lilly has her ring back. 😃👍

Cole had been playing in the park with his dog, when with the flick of his wrist, his ring flew off of his hand and landed in the tall grass. He and a friend had scoured the area for at least an hour before calling, and requesting help. They had remained there, so I told them I would come immediately.

When I got there, I needed to find out exactly where they were, and find a place to park out on the main street because the park had closed for the night. When I did find them Cole showed me where he had been standing, and what he did to make the ring fly off of his hand, so I had a starting point. He thought it might have flown far, so I was prepared for a lengthy search. I got my gear on and began, and within 5 swings of my detector, I had a strong signal. I pulled out my pin pointer, put it in, and  found Cole’s ring about 2 inches under the grass. I brought it up, and he was a bit surprised that it had been so close all along. Well, some smiles were made that day, and he could leave the park with a sigh of relief.

Trishla contacted me about her lost ring. She had been at Venice Beach, and had lost it from the tent they had set up. Her friend not knowing she had removed the ring and put it in the tent, picked the tent up, and shook it out when they were ready to leave for the day. They stayed there, and I let them know I would come as soon as possible.

When I got there It took a couple of minutes to find them, and I made my way over. They explained the way the ring was lost, and showed me the possible area. I began my search and worked out into the surrounding area. I made about 5 passes in my grid when I got a real nice signal, dug, and had Trishla’s ring in the scoop. I brought it out and showed her, and she immediately became emotional. That is when they told me that ring was given to her by her mother when she was about 9 years old, and it had a profound special meaning to her. I was glad to have reunited Trishla with such a precious keepsake.

Lost Wedding Ring Found at Lake Geneva’s Riviera Beach

Sour Summer Turns Sweet

Wednesday, May 29, 2024

I was settling into a normal Wednesday evening routine of doing the dinner dishes, getting the kids ready for bed, and bedtime reading when a fellow detectorist from Madison texted me and asked if I was up for a hunt.  An all too common tale…a young man lost his wedding band at the beach.  The lost wedding band was just a seven minute drive away at a beach I routinely hunt, so I texted the owner, Ryan, to see if he still needed help.

Ryan, a high school math teacher from Florida, had finished up his school year and was visiting family in Lake Geneva, WI.  Before going for a swim, he took off his ring and set it on his beach blanket.  Regardless of how it ended up in the sand, his sweet summer trip had suddenly soured.  Inscribed into his wedding band is “with my whole heart, for my whole life.”  Ryan and his wife perhaps needed to lean a bit more into that promise as this treasured memento of their wedding day was lost.

I met Ryan just as the sun was beginning to sink below the horizon.  He showed me the spot where their blanket was laid down, near a lifeguard stand.  I expanded the search area much wider than I thought necessary and started a grid search.  One of Ryan’s nephews suggested I move closer to the area where their blanket has been.  I didn’t want to miss the ring on my first pass, and explained that I would work my way toward the spot.  It wasn’t long before I hit a strong signal and the ring was found.

Everyone was excited, and after some photos, the ring was back on Ryan’s finger.

It felt so good to see his smile and know I helped, a bit, turn this sour experience sweet again.  And despite the challenges that life will bring, I hope Ryan will always lean into his marriage promise, “with my whole heart, for my whole life.”  This is a good reminder for all of us.

Lost Wedding Band in Grant, Alabama…FOUND by Huntsville Ring Finder!

Christina McCree – Ring Finder/Metal Detectorist for northern Alabama and southern/middle Tennessee…call or text ASAP, anytime 24/7…610-504-6135

On Thursday (May 30th, 2024), I received a call from Chase stating he lost his tungsten wedding band on Monday, which was his 2-year wedding anniversary.  He had taken the ring off and put it in his pocket while doing the dishes.  Afterwards, he put 2 sets of keys in his pocket and went outside.  He took out one set of keys in front of his RV, and then took out the other set in-front of his car.  He later remembered the ring in his pocket, but it was gone.  We were both available on Sunday, so we planned a search for that morning.

I met Chase and his wife, Lindsey, at their home in Grant, Alabama around 9am on Sunday, June 2nd.  I had Chase show me where he was standing when he took out both sets of keys.  Not a huge area, but enough grass to easily hide a heavy tungsten ring.  I started searching at the first spot in front of the RV.  I didn’t receive any good ring like targets, so I moved to the second spot.  Soon after, I had a nice repeatable ring tone and could just barely see Chase’s wedding band!  I called Chase and Lindsey over to see if they could spot it, but it was hard to see amongst the grass.  Needless to say, Chase was very happy to have his wedding ring back!

We took some photos and chatted for a few minutes before my drive back to Huntsville.  Really nice meeting these folks and always happy to help!  I thank God the Father and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the successful recovery and safe travels.  Until the next adventure… please take care and God bless!
