LOST WEDDING RING IN FAYETTEVILLE, NC……… FOUND!!!!

Found my 3rd gold ring today as I received another call to find a lost ring in the snow!
Funny story here. Her husband thought this was a “SILVER” ring! Turns out it was actually 14k gold! I spent the first few mins looking for a silver ring. When she called her husband to check the car she said she had the other ring in her pocket. I asked to see that ring, scanned it over my coil and I told her it’s gold not silver. Then I made the adjustments and BOOM VDI 46 and her ring was found!
She said, she will NEVER let her husband live this one down for not know what metal he bought her. lol!!!
So glad I could help her find her ring again! I love what I do!

LOST WEDDING RINGS NEAR CARY, NC……….. FOUND!!!

Late last night, she and her husband spent 4 hours in the middle of the night trying everything they could to find them. I woke up at 5 am, saw a text message from her around 3 am asking for help. I responded and said when I get up, I’ll message her and be up there as soon as I can.

Poor thing didn’t get a wink of sleep last night as she was so worried about her rings being out there!!
It took me about 5 mins to locate both of them. They were about 4 inches apart, in ice, in the road!!!
She was sooooo happy to get them back! I told her to go get some sleep!!!

Got a call from Dan. He stated he had lost his wedding ring in his yard while doing yard work. I get his address and head out to attempt to find it and return it to him. I get to his house and he walked me through the areas he had been working in and explained that, “it may not be here, but I would at least like to rule it out”. I didn’t have high hopes of finding it at that point, but I got my settings entered into my Garrett AT MAX. I selected VDI range of 50 to 60 and block out all other VDI numbers, so I wouldn’t pick them up at all. It was a 14K ring and should be right on top of the ground.

I began scanning the front left side of his property, then moved to the front right side and towards his back yard fence. As I get about 3-4 feet from the fence, I get a solid VDI 50 and boom there it is, sitting on a leave and just under another leaf. I snapped a few photos, did a TIKTOK video and walked up to the front door with a smile on my face as I returned the ring back to Dan. He was very happy and surprised at the same time that I actually found it. Another happy customer! So glad I was able to find it and get it back to him.

Story goes, she was delivering food to a sick neighbor down the road from her house. As she was getting back in the car, she waived back at them and two of her rings flew off into the landscaping. The center/heavy one stuck on a limb and the other one fell to the base of the same bush and went under the roots a little and was out of site. They tried a metal detector and looking for it with flashlights.

I started off with my metal detector. She had a duplicate ring that goes on the inside of the set that I was able to scan and use it to determine the VDI. I programed it to be in a certain range. I wasn’t getting any solid hits at first. I then got a glimmer of a hit near the base of the bush. I got down on my knees with my pin-pointer and I was picking up a signal. After a few mins, I see her ring ON EDGE! “This is why I wasn’t getting a solid hit” I quickly told her, “I GOT IT” snapped a few pics and returned the ring to her. She was extremely happy that I was able to find it. We walked back to her house to inform her husband that we had found it.

LOST WEDDING RING IN GREENSBORO, NC……. FOUND!!!

I got a call from a lady about her husbands Titanium wedding ring that he had lost in their wooded area behind their house while doing yard work. At some point while moving stuff around it slipped off and fell into the leaves. I get there and notch out certain VDI ranges and start searching for this ring.

After about 30-45 mins I get a hit and I see a shiny item in the leaves. It was great finding this ring and being able to return it to the couple.

LOST PHONE IN RALEIGH, NC……. FOUND!!!

I received a call from a gentleman that lost his phone on the side of a road. I met up with him with fellow Ring Finder, Doug Hardy. After getting all the details of the location of about where it was lost we began looking for it in the high brush and thorns.  It was a visual search, there was no way to swing a metal detector. After about 30 mins I was able to locate it under a bush next to some thorn bushes. I had to crawl under them to get to it. We called the owner back and confirmed it was in fact his phone!! The photos/videos on his phone were priceless to him. He had had this phone since the birth of his child and hadn’t backed it up to any cloud. He was beyond grateful to get this phone back with all of the memories, that were irreplaceable.

Got a text from Stephen last week about his gold wedding band being lost for two weeks at a part that him and his family were at. They had a volleyball net set up on one side of the park and provided me some photos of the area where they had been. After about 3 mins, I had located his ring during the making of a TIKTOK video. I had planned on doing as many PART’s as needed until I found his ring. Was happy it only took one before I found it.

We met two days later and I was able to get his ring back to him where it belonged.

I received a call from Lexi, upset that she had lost an almost 100 yr old heirloom in the lake. After making arrangements to meet up with her and go over the area, I went to work looking for her priceless ring. The story goes it has been in her family for almost 100 yrs and her late mother passed it down to her and it was the only thing she had left of her moms. It was very precious and important to her. After almost 2 hours of walking back and forth in the area she thought it was, I decided to expand my search area and after about 10 mins, 2-3 targets I got a gold signal and scooped up the signal and peered into the scoop to see a 14k white gold ring. I yelled out to her on the pier, ” I GOT IT IN THE SCOOP!” She said, ‘REALLY?”. I made my way to the ladder and climbed out to show her and hand it back to her. She was so happy and gave me a great big hug, despite me being soaked. It was good to see her smile back on her face. I love what I do, it never gets old!

LOST RING FOUND IN APEX, NC…….. FOUND

Got a text message from Bonnie on Saturday night June 5th at 20:50, that her husband Skip had lost his wedding ring in the water while wrestling around with his son. He was very upset and heartbroken that he had lost it. I reassured her that I would do my very best to find it for him and make him happy again. The next morning, first thing, I drive to their location and I get the lowdown. I changed my settings to only find silver or large sliver I then jumped into the water. It was less than 10 mins later I get a solid on the top silver target that I just knew it had to be the lost ring. After about five attempts to scoop it out, I finally saw the big shiny ring at the top of the clay clump on my sand scooper as it fell into the basket. I yelled out, ” I GOT IT!!!” I get up to the bank and wash it off, shoot a photo and hand it back to Bonnie’s husband and he gave me a great big ole hug. Another happy person, reunited with their precious lost item.

I received a call from fellow ring finder “Doug Hardy” about a lost wedding set in someones backyard. He went and tried but the rain came in and he didn’t have enough time to continue. He asked if I would be able to go out and try. I said, “Sure, I will give her a call” I called Jaimie and got the details and I headed out there to see if I could find her lost rings.

After, about 30 mins of searching, I finally got the right signal I was looking for. BOOM got both rings and they were both still together too.

She was about 15 mins away at a baby shower, so I hoped in the truck, got the address and headed her way to reunite her with her rings.
