Yun called me to ask if I could help find his wedding ring. He had been at Muscle Beach in Santa Monica on the equipment, and put his ring in his pocket. After he was done he reached into his pocket to retrieve the ring, and with the flick of his hand, his ring flew into the sand. Although he searched diligently for it, it was nowhere to be found. We arranged a time to meet there, and I was on my way.
When I got there Yun, his new bride (they were on their honeymoon from South Korea), and his friend Tae met me to show me where the loss occured. I began my search covering the area showed to me, finding some small pieces of metal, but not the ring. Then I began to widen the search area going out grid line by grid line. I got a great double signal steady in the headphones, put the scoop in, and had the ring. Yun and his bride were very happy, and thankful to have the ring back, and it was great that their honeymoon was not spoiled. Their rings matched, which was nice.
Andrea was spending the day at the beach with her family. Her kids and other kids near by were having fun playing and digging in the sand. Time to go and ooops, her phone is missing. In searching best as she could, still no phone would go home. I was contacted later and received the details I needed to conduct the search. There was still a “find my phone” signal coming from the loss area, so, it’s likely still there. Andrea was not able to meet me there at that time, but, I wanted to jump on it right away as that beach gets detected often. With the directions I needed, I set up a grid area as best I could considering that there were lots of people in that area that might be in the way. I started in the open spots before having to ask people to move. Luckily, I got a great booming signal on my Equinox 900 after only a couple of passes. It read pretty deep though and I thought it was just going to be a quarter or an aluminum can. Well, over a foot down, I found her phone, still on and still working! It must have fallen into one of the many holes dug by the children. A text later found a happy Andrea going to get her phone back. A pleasure to meet you and thank you for the reward.

Please don’t wait any longer because time will induce variables that will make the recovery of your lost item more difficult! Steve 310-953-5268
Alan called asking for help in finding a ring his wife had lost in their back yard. I was doing a search in a burned home in the Palisades at the time of the call, and told Alan I would be able to help him after I was finished.
When I got there Alan introduced me to his wife Ronnie, and she took me to the backyard showing me the area of the loss. It wasn’t very big, but the grass was tall and thick which would hide a ring easily. I began my search working the open area with no luck. Then I began working around some pots and pallets in the area. At the corner of one of the pallets I received a solid signal, put my pinpointer in, and found her ring. It had been her grandmother’s ring, and she became very emotional when I gave it back to her. It turned out to be a great day.

Donna contacted me to help search her burned Altadena home.
I was able to help recover quite a lot for her and her husband Anthony including:
- Her late father’s Dog Tag from military service
- 8 large silver dollar coins
- 4 rings
- 17 assorted pieces of jewelry including bracelets, earrings, chains, and a belt buckle
- 6 pieces of silver flatware
- A half bucket of quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies
…and numerous other items including ceramics, keys, and other jewelry melted together
It was a very successful search for them.

Olivia called me asking if I could help her. She had been at the beach with a friend. She wisely removed her jewelry to go into the water, and put them on her towel. What happened next was that her friend lifted the towel not knowing the jewelry was there, and they were lost in the sand. I let her know I would leave right away for the search.
When I got to the beach Olivia was not there yet, so I began my search in the area described. It took about 5 minutes, and I had her bracelet, and both her earrings. I waited for her to get to the search site, and was able to give them all back at that time. She informed me that the earrings were a gift from her mother, which made them extra special. A great recovery!

Sophia was spending time with her friend’s family on Surf City Beach. She forgot to remove her sentimental ring so she placed it in a pouch. I was called later that evening because the ring had fell out onto the beach. Upon arrival, the girls explained the area they were between two oceanside homes. After a few steps, I received a very solid signal and was able to pull Sophia’s ring up from its hiding spot in the sand
