Missing wedding band found in Yadkinville, NC

  • from Winston-Salem (North Carolina, United States)

Sunday morning assignment:

10:22am I received the following message…
“I located your information through Ring Finders and would like your help in locating my husband’s titanium wedding band.  It slipped off of his finger into our yard yesterday and we have been looking to no avail.  We live In Yadkinville and hope that you are able to help us find his ring.”

11:32am I spoke with Sue whom was able to provide detailed information that her husband had worked in the yard on Saturday, ending by washing his hands beside their home.  He shook his hands to dry them and immediately realized his wedding band slipped off.  Sue said they searched and raked the immediate area until after dark with negative results.  Recently moving to North Carolina she advised they had a trip planned to visit the Baltimore Estate and that her husband had said he feels naked as he has not been without his wedding band since they married.  In hopes to find a solution she searched the internet for “how to find ring” and discovered The Ring Finders website and contacted me being her closest resource.  I let her know I was in the next county and would be glad to assist them and would arrive after lunch.

2:00pm I texted Sue and let her know I was en-route and would arrive in 15 minutes.

2:18pm arrived and met with Sue and husband whom escorted me to the location of the loss. They walked through the series of events including how he was standing when shaking his hands and the direction of the thud sound.  I retrieved my equipment and began a scan of the area.  The area did have many iron signals however I located the ring within a few minutes.  Recovered only 4-5 feet from where he was standing and immediately in the area they searched previously.

The smiles on both of their faces cannot be described other than to say they mirrored those of my grandchildren at Christmas.   Thank you Sue for allowing me the opportunity to assist you and your husband.

If you the readers of this message ever lose something of value, contact a member of The Ring Finders, we will be glad to assist you recover your lost treasure.

Nicole was enjoying a beautiful day at the beach in Sea Isle City, NJ with her daughter and family—sunshine, sand, and summer fun. But that perfect day quickly turned into panic when she got home and realized both her wedding band and engagement ring were gone. 💍

Her family searched high and low with no luck. That’s when Nicole contacted me—John Favano with Ring Finders South Jersey. We met back at the beach, and after getting a clear idea of where they’d been throughout the day, I started a detailed grid search.

✅ First, I checked the spot where they had been sitting—no luck.
✅ Then I moved closer to the shoreline—still nothing.
✅ Finally, after expanding the search, I got a signal. Out came the wedding band! Just a few sweeps later, the engagement ring appeared too!

Nicole was thrilled to be reunited with both rings. It was a successful recovery and another rewarding day helping return lost treasures on the beach in Sea Isle City!

Margate NJ Lost Wedding Band Found by Ring Finders South Jersey

  • from North Wildwood (New Jersey, United States)

I recently got a call from Sami and Mitch about a lost wedding band in Margate, NJ.
They had been enjoying a sunny day on the beach when disaster struck—Mitch’s wedding band disappeared.
The ring had only been on his finger for one month.
They searched the sand by hand but couldn’t find anything.
That’s when they reached out to me for help.

As a professional ring finder with a metal detector, I’ve recovered many lost rings across the Jersey Shore.
I met Sami and Mitch at the location where the ring was lost.
They explained exactly how and where it may have fallen off.
Details like that are essential when starting a metal detector search.

We narrowed the area down quickly and began scanning.
My metal detector can locate rings buried deep in the sand.
After a few careful sweeps, I heard the unmistakable sound.
I dug down gently—and there it was: Mitch’s lost wedding band.
It had settled several inches beneath the soft beach sand.

They were thrilled.
Big smiles, huge relief, and heartfelt thanks followed.
Returning that wedding band meant everything to them—and to me.

Helping couples recover lost wedding bands in Margate NJ is something I truly enjoy.
Every recovery is unique, and each one tells a story.
In this case, quick action helped us get the ring back fast.

Lost jewelry can sink quickly in soft sand, especially near the shoreline.
Time and tides don’t wait, so acting fast is key.
If you lose a ring, mark the area and call a professional.
The sooner you act, the better the chance of success.

Many beachgoers don’t realize how useful a metal detector can be.
It’s not about treasure hunting—it’s about helping people.
The look on someone’s face when their ring is found? Priceless.

If you’ve lost a ring in Margate NJ or anywhere on the Jersey Shore, don’t panic.
You don’t have to search alone or rent a metal detector.
Experienced ring finders know how to scan efficiently and spot buried rings quickly.

I’m always ready to help reunite people with their lost items.
From wedding bands to engagement rings, I’ve recovered them all.
And every time, it’s just as meaningful as the first.

Thanks again to Sami and Mitch for trusting me with their search.
I’m so glad I was able to return their lost wedding band.

Enjoy the rest of your summer—and keep that ring safe!

Boyd left the beach in Avalon, NJ, forgetting that he put his wedding band on the top of his backpack. He sent me an email asking for help locating the ring with my metal detector. We met up later that evening in Avalon and spoke about the area that it might be in. I started the search where he thought they were sat, but it wasn’t there. Boyd spoke to his wife and she thought they sat a little closer to the water.  I continued the search. After metal detecting area for about 25 minutes, the band was found!

Lost Wedding ring found in River Cochrane

  • from Calgary (Alberta, Canada)
Contact:

I received a call from Coby telling me his wife lost her Diamond wedding in the river in Cochrane. He wanted to know if we had a chance of finding it. I told him I have found other rings in the water in the past and would come out in a couple of days to look for it. I went out on a Saturday morning and gave it a try the river was very high and it was hard to search I tried for about an hour. She was sitting a bunch of big rocks and when she swung her arm the stand up it went into the water with all the big rocks and boulders it was a hard find. I told them because I couldn’t find it to try back in the fall when the river would be down.  So in September went out and gave it a look now both her and the newborn baby and Coby were there and we began to search we check the water and the start between all the boulders slowly moving them one by one. After a couple of hours and moving a bunch of boulders, we recover the ring One happy family.l

Lost Engagement Ring and Wedding Band Found Brigantine NJ

  • from North Wildwood (New Jersey, United States)

I received a message on my Facebook page late last night from Sheyla who lost her wedding band and engagement ring on the beach in Brigantine, NJ earlier in the day.  I spoke to her shortly after I received her message and we made plans to meet early this morning to look for the rings. After we met and talked about where the rings might be, I started my search and within 20 minutes the rings were found. It just so happens that today is their 8th wedding anniversary, so it was all the more special when it was recovered!
