Big gold ring found in Gun Lake, MI

  • from Holland (Michigan, United States)

Tony and family went for a late night cruise on their pontoon boat and shorty after getting home Tony noticed his wedding band was missing.  This morning he and his wife, Valerie, were trying to figure out where he could have lost it.  He remembered tripping over a cooler sitting on the floor of the pontoon boat, and catching himself by pushing his hand thru the opening between the seats and the overhead canopy.  When checking this spot on the boat he noticed the zipper was slightly open: he guessed that this is where he lost the ring.  Straight down from that location is 4 ft of water.  Valerie got on the internet and found Ringfinders and by 2:00PM today Gregg Larabel and I were out there.  I donned my waders and immediately got a good signal right under that zipper on the boat.  A couple of scoops later and the big beautiful ring turned up in my scoop.  For the rest of the story: Valerie said this ring is Tony’s fourth since they have been married and he lost one of them in Gun Lake years ago.  Tony is going to give us an exact location on a google map and hopefully we can find that ring for him too.

A Tale of Redemption: Recovering a Precious Necklace in Somis CA

  • from Santa Barbara (California, United States)

In the quiet of Sunday night, a distress call reached my ears, echoing with the urgency of Kirsten’s plea. Her voice trembled as she recounted the loss of her beloved Emerald and Diamond 18k gold necklace—a cherished memento of her late husband and son. Each stone held a memory, each setting a tribute to their enduring love. Determined to restore what was lost, I pledged to find it.

Today, under the bright Thursday sun, I stood at the threshold of Kirsten’s horse corral and riding arena—the suspected grounds of the necklace’s disappearance. With methodical precision, I charted a course, focusing my efforts on the sprawling expanse of the riding arena.

Navigating the challenges posed by the detector’s struggle with intricate gold chains, I embarked on the search. The arena’s terrain, a medley of sand, dirt, and layered felt, posed a formidable obstacle. Undeterred, I devised a meticulous grid, commencing from the heart and expanding outward, left to right.

As the hours ticked by, my persistence bore fruit—a resounding tone pierced the air, signaling a breakthrough. With bated breath, I knelt, my pinpointer guiding the way. And then, amidst the earth’s embrace, a glimmer of gold emerged—a testament to perseverance and hope.

In the triumph of that moment, Kirsten’s joy knew no bounds. Tears of relief mingled with gratitude as the necklace was returned to its rightful place—a symbol of love reclaimed.

A Tale of Lost Legacy: Rediscovering Precious Memories at Channel Islands Harbor Oxnard CA

  • from Santa Barbara (California, United States)

“A Tale of Lost Legacy: Rediscovering Precious Memories”

On a serene afternoon, I received a heartfelt call from Sean Sinclair, seeking assistance in recovering his late father’s wedding ring. The poignant tale unfolded in September 2017, when their father, engaged in home renovations along the scenic canals of Channel Islands Harbor, encountered an unforeseen mishap. Amidst the flurry of dusting off his attire, the cherished ring slipped from his grasp, cascading into the tranquil waters below.

Time passed, marked by unforeseen challenges, as their father’s battle with cancer culminated in his passing. Today, driven by a desire to reclaim a symbol of enduring love and legacy, Sean and his family reached out for assistance.

Arriving at their brother’s residence, situated on the picturesque waterfront, I embarked on the mission, propelled by the ebbing tides and a dwindling window of opportunity. As the clock ticked, I navigated the rocky seabed, grappling with slimy muck and obstructive rebar, a testament to the challenges of the terrain.

In the midst of adversity, perseverance prevailed, as each sweep of the detector unearthed fragments of hope amidst the debris. Guided by divine timing, a triumphant moment ensued—a glimmer of gold emerging from the depths, cradled in the embrace of the scoop.

In life’s intricate tapestry, moments of serendipity often illuminate the path forward. As the chapter of the house’s sale drew to a close, the recovery of the lost ring stood as a poignant testament to the enduring power of love and remembrance.

For those in search of lost treasures or cherished heirlooms, Ventura County Ring Finders stands as a beacon of hope. Contact us at www.venturacountyringfinders.com or call [Phone Number] to embark on a journey of rediscovery and reunion.

Bill gave his wife, Taylor his white gold wedding ring to hold while he went swimming in the bay at Newport Beach, CA.  Sometime during the next couple hours she had lost the ring, but they didn’t realize it was lost until they returned home. This was exactly what happened about six weeks ago, when I was able to find the same ring in the surf at a San Clemente, CA.

This time Bill knew to call me that night as soon as could. We set up a time when he could get away from his job at lunch break the next day. The area they had been that day was approximately 40 feet square. Then there was the walk to the car, something like 100 yards across the sand.

Bill had to return to work which didn’t bother me. I had what information l needed and I could take my time to do a thorough grid search.

The beach was very clean without bothersome bottle caps and pull tabs. I was nearing the end of the main search location and it looked like my next grid would be the long walk to the parking lot. Then the sweet tone of a gold ring in my headphones. Boom! a quick dig and I had Bills wedding ring in my scoop.

Just as I was getting ready to send Bill the good news I received a text from him ..  “ Any luck? If not please forget about it.” ..  I texted Bill a photo of the ring and he called right away. It was nice to hear the joy in his voice. I was able to hold his ring for more than a week, until he was could pick it up. It’s always great to see the smile and the eyes light up when you hand the ring back to the person that thought it was lost forever.

What’s a Vacation Without Your MasterCard? Lost, Found, Returned

  • from Cape Cod (Massachusetts, United States)

October 15th Carlos was rushing to avoid the pending thunderstorm and lost his MasterCard in the Jamaican waters. I was also heading in, away from the afternoon’s lightening strikes. I was approached by Carlos with a request to help him find the missing credit card. I could not refuse, so back into the water. First I saw an electronic room key, that there had been no mention of. Just after picking the card up I saw the dark blue patch of the MasterCard. Item retrieved, I headed for Carlos. The sky had darkened and the rain began pelting us as we ran to my room for my camera. I took a few pictures, and gave Carlos three cards, room key, MasterCard and one of my TheRingFinders cards. Now with three cards in hand Carlos ran off to tell his wife the vacation could continue but with a tighter grip on the precious cards.

Lost Wedding Ring Lake Conroe, Texas…found by John Volek TRF-Houston

Lost Wedding Ring Lake Conroe, Texas…found by John Volek TRF-Houston

I was contacted by Doug, who was looking for someone to help him recover his Wedding Ring of 22 years from Lake Conroe…

Doug reported he had been training for an upcoming Tri-Athlon and swimming in a designated swim area when he had the misfortune of losing his wedding ring of twenty-two years. Doug said, he had lost his ring two days ago in about chest deep water. Doug said he spend hours diving down to the bottom and sifting through the sand and mud in hopes of finding his ring.

Doug said, he had lost a lot of weight while training for his Tri-Athlon event, and his ring was loose and slide right off his finger while swimming. Doug said, he knew the minute it came off, and stopped right where he was at, and started searching for his ring. But more importantly he looked around and identified some land marks that would eventually bring us back to that location in the water.

Doug said while agonizing over the loss of his ring…he did a little internet research and came across Houston Metal Detecting Services – The Ring Finders – Houston and placed the call.

After discussing the details with Doug, an arrangement was made to meet at Lake Conroe this morning to search for his lost wedding ring.

Doug’s ability to put us back in the general location was imperative…his ring was recovered within an hour…water depth 4-5 feet.

Lost Pendant and Earrings in Pearland, Texas…found by John Volek TRF-Houston

I was contacted by Keith a resident of Pearland, Texas who was looking for someone to help him find a lost Gold and Diamond Pendant and a set of matching earring in his front yard.

Keith reported his wife had lost both her pendant and earring while in the front yard of their residence two days ago. Keith described the missing items as a matched set (one gold and diamond pendant and a matching set of earrings) Keith said after discovering his wife had lost those item in the yard he spent hours on his hands and knee searching for the lost items.

Keith said after realizing he was not going to find the items on his own…he conducted a little web research and came upon Houston Metal Detecting Services – The Ring Finders-Houston

After a short conversation with Keith, plans were made to meet the following day to search for the lost pendant and earrings.

Upon meeting Keith, the next day…we immediately started the search of his front yard. At about 10 minutes into the search I found the lost pendant. A few minutes later Keith eye-balled one on the missing earring in the street.

We continued the search of both the lawn and street for the second earring, but we were unsuccessful at finding the last missing piece.

Keith was happy to have been able to find the pendant and single earring…the plan will to have a matching earring made in the months to come.
