Lost Black Diamond & Titanium Wedding Ring at Kaimana Beach Waikiki…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This ring find began yesterday when I got a call from David who was on vacation from Middletown, Connecticut and enjoying the day at Kaimana Beach with his lovely wife Sara.  While heading out for a swim David’s Black Diamond Titanium ring fell off into the sand just before the reef edge in waist deep water.  He actually saw the ring on the bottom momentarily but a wave crashed into him and it was buried from sight by the stirred up sand.  David found me on “theringfinders” website and we agreed to meet the next morning at 9 during the low tide.  When I arrived I met Sara & David on the beach and David went into the water to show me where to hunt.  He had counted 25 paces from the water’s edge which was a brilliant manuever in order to get the most precise location.  Most tourists in a panic would not think to do that.  I fired up the beast and started gridding around David.  Thankfully, the area was sterile and the first target boomed on the Manticore.  Upon the second scoop there was David’s unique ring in the scoop.  David retrieved the ring from the scoop and we went up to the area where Sara was on the beach.  We were going to tell her it was a hopeless situation but I think she could tell immediately that prank wasn’t going to work.  A few laughs and handshakes and I was on my way home.  Vacation saved!  Aloha to David & Sara!

Lost White Gold Diamond Engagement Ring- Found in Grove City, PA by Metal Detecting Specialist Brian Carpenter

  • from Indiana (Pennsylvania, United States)

Lost your ring, other valuable jewelry, cellphone, keys, or other metal object…call or text Brian Carpenter at (814)244-2300 as soon as possible. I am a ring recovery/metal detecting specialist serving Pittsburgh, Indiana (PA), and most of Western PA. Why rent a metal detector when you can get a trained operator with top of the line equipment at the same time…

I received a text from Madeleine that she had lost her ring is a pasture while building fence. I asked her to give me a call and she provided me with some more information and as luck would have it I was able to head out right away. During our initial conversation she asked me if I ate meat and told me her family had a cattle farm and she would bring me some steaks. So when I was packing up my gear I threw a small cooler in the back, more about that in a bit… About an hour and a half later I met her at the farm where she lost the ring. I looked at the sprawling pastures where she said they had put in about 60 acres or so of fencing. At that point I thought to myself, I am going to be here a while…lol! We talked a bit and I got a few additional bits of information. She had put her ring in her vest pocket with the control for her dog and only removed it from her pocket in two spots and we both thought that logically those could be the places where the ring dropped out. She has also bought a metal detector and walked the fence line but did not check the area where they were working initially. So Madeleine handed me my call out fee and two awesome looking steaks that I deposited in the cooler. She headed out and I started to work.

I started griding the area where they were working with the skid loader.  Back and forth I found a few nails, shell casings and smal random pieces of metal. I had gotten a few good sounds but no ring. Then I got another hit and checked again with my pinpointer…nice steady tone on the top. I parted the grass and there was the ring. It had been about 20 minutes to a half hour. I sent Madeleine a text…hope that you haven’t made it too far, with a picture of the ring and jokingly asking if this was hers. However the cell service was terrible and only the first text made it through before my phone rang. She asked what as up and I said oh you only got my first text and then the others came through with the picture and her response – Yes that’s it! We talked for a few minutes about arrangements for her to get the ring and now that the hard work was done I asked her about the old farm house down the road. As anyone who metal detects knows old farm houses are pretty high on the bucket list as permissions and they can be hard to get. So I inquired if I could look around for a bit before heading back down Interstate 79 and I would drop her ring off. She gave me permission but wanted to come up and get the ring as soon as she could. I met her at the old farm house and as you can see from the picture she was smiling as soon as she pulled in. I was happy to have found her ring, especially as quickly as I did and return it. It was a pleasure to meet and help another kind and extremely generous client!

In case you were wondering, I did not find anything other than a few clad coins at the old farm house but the opportunity was awesome. And after doing some research I found out the signifcance of the “steaks”. Madeleine’s family has a wagyu beef farm. To me at the time it did not mean much – the steaks looked great…however after checking things out I now know the significance of wagyu beef (if you don’t know what it is…look it up) and WOW! So while it has been a really busy weekend and I have not had the opportunity to grill up those steak I am really looking forward to doing so and VERY MUCH appreciate the added bonus and generosity!

A couple of years ago Collin’s wife was in their front yard getting ready to pull some weeds and decided to remove her engagement and wedding ring and put them in a small pocket in her jacket to keep them safe. She spent maybe 25 minutes doing yard work and as she was finishing up she reached into her pocket and could only find her engagement ring. That led to another 25 minutes of searching high and low but her lost wedding ring was nowhere to be found.

Fast forward two years and the nagging thought of her lost wedding ring still out there somewhere in her front yard lead them to research “How to find a ring in the grass”! They found my name and number on theringfinders.com website and after hearing their story I showed up the next day to do a search. Collin showed me the small front yard and mentioned that his wife had started pulling weeds in a small mulched area so that is where I opted to start swinging my Deus 2 metal detector. I swung my coil two times and instantly got a signal that indicated a low tone and shallow as well. I kicked some of the mulch aside and low and behold there was a small gold ring just waiting to be recovered and both Collin and I could not believe it had happened so fast! How I thank God for helping me find their lost wedding ring and for being a blessing to them in their time of need.

How can I help you? Call or text me anytime and let’s talk…321-363-6029!

LOST FAMILY HEIRLOOM PLATNIUM DIAMOND RING in CHARLOTTE, NC…….FOUND!!

  • from Raleigh (North Carolina, United States)

I received a text message from a young lady needing my help to search for her lost family heirloom platinum diamond ring that was passed down by her great-grandmother.

Story goes, she pulled into work, took the ring off and put it in her pocket. She went into the building and then back out of the building. She turned to the right and ran to the back shed on the backside of the building to place a box in there. Then she ran back inside. The running must have caused the ring to work itself up and out of her pocket.

When she came back inside she realized she had lost her ring. Her and her co-workers searched and searched for her ring to no avail! She was so devastated!!

We make arrangements for me to come search for it. I get to the site and start my search. There were lots of signals in the gold/platnium range. Based on that it took me hours to recover it. But finally, not too far from the front door, in the high grass I get a signal, grabbed my pin-pointer, I move the grass back and I finally see the ring!!!

I texted her pictures of the ring and she sent a co-worker/friend to come pick it up!

Yellow Gold & Diamonds Engagement Ring lost at Ala Moana Beach Park…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This ring find began when I got a text message from Stephanie who was on vacation from Arizona and enjoying the day at Ala Moana Beach Park.  As she reached down to pick up her towel, the rings that were in the towel scattered in the beach sand.  She was able to find two of them but the most coveted Yellow Gold & Diamonds Emgagement ring couldn’t be found.  I had just gotten home from work, so I called her and said I was on my way.  There was plenty of parking near lifeguard shack 1D so that was a bonus.  Stephanie drew a small grid box to hunt in so I fired up the Manticore.  The first target #22 loud perfect dot on the VDI.  One scoop and BINGO ring found.  Elapsed time 15 seconds!  Aloha to Stephanie and you are going home with your wedding ring!

Andrew holding his lost ring shortly after it was found today in NJ

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. — Several years ago, Andrew was tossing some yard debris down an embankment on his property when a family heirloom ring he had worn flew off into the leafy hillside below. Thinking the ring was lost, he wrote it off to bad luck.

The heirloom ring being pulled from the dirt where it had been missing for five years

As time wore on, Andrew decided to rekindle the search and contacted Ringfinder Bill Leasure. Bill searched the hillside up and down and side to side, for several hours. Finally, after moving some old two by fours, a strong signal emerged from the leaves below. About two inches down, the shining ring popped out of its years-long hiding spot. Another successful recovery by Ringfinder Bill Leasure, finding Northern New Jersey’s lost rings one happy customer at a time.

Lost Gold Ring Found in Farmington Hills Michigan

Kiss the Blarney Gold!

Excited to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, and with a spring in his step, Walt decided to do some chores around the yard before enjoying some fine food and drink. Upon completion he noticed his gold ring fell off. As we were walking to the backyard, I looked around and didn’t see any rainbows or leprechauns, so I randomly picked an area to start metal detecting. Using my MXT bigfoot coil attached to my shillelagh I started to grid search. Within a few minutes I got a nice signal and sound on the metal detector. Reaching down into the leaves revealed his concealed gold ring! Lifting it out I handed it to Walt who kissed the gold ring and said, May the road always rise to meet you and wherever you go and whatever you do, may the luck of the Irish be with you!
