Ring found at church

  • from Mount Pleasant (Michigan, United States)

I found this gentleman’s wedding ring at his church. He told me that he lost it five years ago when he took the ring off to put lotion on his hands before driving to his church. He had taken the ring of and put it in his lap. When he got out of his car the ring fell onto the ground. It took approximately an hour to find it due to his recollection of the details of how he lost his ring.img class=”alignnone size-medium wp-image-134640″ src=”//static.theringfinders.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/20241123_e7d79_fcf95-225×300.jpeg” alt=”” width=”225″ height=”300″ />o

Diamond Wedding Ring Set Lost in Surf at a Orange County Beach Found and Returned to Owner

  • from Newport Beach (California, United States)

If you need help or advice on how to find a ring or other important metal item, call Stan the Metal Detector Man .. 949-500-2136

*** Barbie was staying with her family in the summer beach front rentals in Newport Beach, CA. While playing catch with a football in ankle deep water both her diamond engagement ring and wedding ring came off her finger falling into the surf. Immediately the rings disappeared in the saturated wet sand.

She was able to contact me shortly after the loss, after someone on the beach gave her my contact information. The tide was too high to do a search when she called me. We did have time to determine the general location. The next low tide would be 2am, so I told her I would be there to do a thorough grid search at low tide.

These types searches are not the same as searching a field , because beaches have various forms of sand movement. It is possible that as much as a foot of sand can move in which would put the ring out of the detection range of most metal detectors. Sometimes people misjudge how deep they were in  the water. I try to explain to people what our chances are,  before giving them false hope.

This was one was one of the good conditions that made this a successful search. It still took about an hour of slow methodical grid searching in the dark of night to find the two rings. It gets a little discouraging because there were no other metal signals and it’s difficult to keep a straight line in shallow water. It’s a game of inches with small items like a ring there’s always a chance of missing the item.

I had found both rings within two feet of each other. I did sleep in that morning, 2 am searches take some recovery time. Some time after 9 am the next morning I sent Barbie a photo of the rings. We met a couple hours after the call for the return.

Don’t waste your time renting or buying a cheap metal detector. If you don’t have any experience operating one, it could be very frustrating. Let me come to you with the best equipment available and experience for recovering all types of sentimental keepsakes. Stan the Metal Detector Man.. Mobile metal detecting service .. 949-500-2136

Elefteria tells her story…”I had lost not just one ring but TWO rings while laying on the couch.  Hours later my husband and I searched for hours in the couch and around that area.  I was so upset when we couldn’t find them as my wedding and engagement rings were passed down to me from my grandparents.  We searched again the next day and still nothing.  I found Mike online and decided to take a chance on his ring finding skills after reading so many successful reviews.  I’m SO glad I did!  Mike came to the house and was super friendly, optimistic and thorough.  He asked me to explain again what happened and then he went to work doing a preliminary and extensive check around the area of the couch.  Then he went to work on both couches where I thought the rings might be lost.  He flipped the couches, used a flashlight and a special camera tool and searched every crevice.  It was not looking very promising.  He seemed pretty sure that they weren’t in the couch so he looked again behind the couch where we stored things.  Just when we thought it was a lost cause, Mike found them hovering on the plastic of the air filter we were storing on top of a bin behind the couch!  I would have never seen them, but Mike did!  It was such a relief and I was so so grateful for his extra set of eyes, patience and thorough searching.  Don’t hesitate to hire Mike!”

Diamond Engagement Ring while Throwing Volleyball at T-Street Beach , San Clemente , CA.

…Kayla  was enjoying a beach party at “T Street Beach”, San Clemente, CA. when she lost her diamond engagement ring in the sand. She was recently engaged and wanted  to show off her beautiful new ring to her friends.

Normally, she would not wear jewelry to the beach. This time was an exception because she would only be sitting on the beach, promising herself to be very careful with her new ring.

She was standing next to the refreshment table when someone unexpectedly tossed her a volleyball. She caught the ball and threw it back to the person. Her new engagement ring went flying off her finger into the sand.

After two hours with a dozen people trying to find the ring, she called me for help. I was on the beach after driving 20 miles a half hour before sunset. It did take awhile to find the ring, because it had landed in a place where there had been an old firepit, littered with nails and aluminum trash. One of the obstacles that interfere with metal detectors is trash metal. One reason to call an experienced metal detector professional. Also it does help to know the general area of the loss. Kayla did her part by marking the spot she was standing when her ring flew off her finger. I showed up in a promptly with the best metal detecting equipment to make this a successful recovery..  I love helping people like Kayla find their cherished sentimental jewelry.

I want to help you, available to give you advice or information on how to search for your lost item .. timing is important. Stan the Ringfinder .. 949-500-2136 .. I WILL TRY ANYWHERE.

Lost Gold Arabic Design Wedding Band at Ulua Lagoon Ko Olina Resort…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This ring find began on 2 November when I got a message asking “How much do you charge to locate a ring?”  from Jose who is in the Army stationed on Oahu.  It’s reward based and that’s always up to the customer.  Since the lagoons were rough and with high tides along with a three day coin show that weekend I told Jose I would hunt Veteran’s Day early morning.  He sent me some excellent photos of the area to hunt.  Since I start on the left side of a grid normally and work to the right it actually took an hour and a half to recover the ring as it was on the extreme right side of the grid as I was begining to think this was going to be a fail.  Jose swung by this evening to pick up his ring.  Smiling & Freed from the dog house!  Aloha to Jose!

I received  a call from Stuart this afternoon asking if I would be able to help him locate his wedding ring that flew off his hand while he was brushing snow from his hands, the ring flew onto his front lawn.

He and his wife Ali searched the area but could not find the ring. I saw the area that they cleared so the ring had to be a further ahead or to the back of them. I found the ring about 8 inches away from where Ali had cleared the snow.

Another Happy Client.  Thank you Stuart and Ali for entrusting me to find your wedding ring.

Lost Gold Wedding Band at Nai’a Lagoon Ko Olina Resort…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This ring find began when I got a text from Emanuel on vacation from Portland, Oregon saying, “My wife lost her wedding band on Sunday while swimming in the lagoon number 3.  She was swimming in chest deep water along the shore.  We agreed to meet Friday afternoon as their schedule was busy and the surf was freakishly up in the lagoons.  When I arrived Emanuel showed me the swim route and I began my grid search.  It was quite a large area and about 45 minutes into the hunt in belly deep water the Manticore found the yellow gold wedding band.  They were waiting in chairs on the beach and I waved that I found Viorica’s ring.  Emanual said, “God bless you!  You really made our day.”  Big smiles all around.  Aloha to Viorica & Emanuel!
