Cost For My Service
I work on a reward basis. That means you pay what it is worth to you and what you can afford to have me find your lost item.
I charge a callout fee. If the item is not found, this covers my fuel expenses. We can discuss this when you call. Travel costs for more distant searches, statewide and abroad, will be discussed and agreed upon in advance prior to any search.
Underwater searches have a different fee schedule…please call for details.
Land, water & in snow, underwater search to 40 feet. If the item is in water deeper than 40 feet and we can discuss options.
Estate searches & caches (lost/hidden) evidence recovery at crime scenes.
Wisconsin & Northern Michigan…you may contact me if outside my area to discuss travel.
Jeff Wettstein's Bio
I was introduced to metal detecting about 1972 as a youngster from a relative. In the Marine Corps I was in an engineering unit where we used machines to do protective sweeps. I was able to begin my metal detecting career in 1997 with my first machine…a Garrett GTA 1000. I turned in my land machine a year later for a water machine and haven’t look back.
The best items I’ve ever found are the one’s I can return. There is story behind each one, which is one of the best parts of being able to return the item coupled with the look on the person’s face who lost the it when returned.
I own some of the best equipment with today’s latest technology. Feel free to reach out if I can be of any help! Leave a message if I don’t pick up…I might be in the H2O swinging my machine!!
