The engagement ring was only 3 months old. It was given to Shannon when Brandon proposed to her in Ireland. Forward 3 months… I received a call from Shannon stating that she had lost her engagement ring on the beach in Sea Isle City NJ. After a quick 15 minute search the ring was found and returned!
The couple was extremely happy that they could continue their vacation!

Her daughter Julia lost her Cartier gold Love ring in the surf during a severe storm in Ocean City, NJ. She was in ankle-deep water when strong gusts of wind suddenly blew the ring off her finger. Bill gave me a call about his wife Amy’s rings that were lost in Brigantine, NJ. The couple was sitting on a blanket watching their son take surfing lessons when Amy placed a sentimental silver ring that was custom-made by her son and her wedding band on the blanket. She forgot her rings were there when she pulled up the blanket and shook it out. I met them later in the afternoon and was able to find both rings after a short grid-search.

Toleen lost her wedding set in Ocean City, NJ yesterday while spending the day with her family on the beach. The rings were placed in the pocket of the beach chair and fell in the sand when she folded it up. Her daughter, Alexa, searched and found my Ring Finders South Jersey page when the family realized the rings were lost. Matt lost his wedding band in his backyard in Marmora, New Jersey. He wasn’t sure if it fell off while he was chopping wood or while walking around in the yard. Jack lost his Virginia Military Institute class ring while he and his family were in Brigantine, NJ for a beach day. The ring flew off his finger while tossing a ball back to people playing in the ocean. I started a grid search in the water and eventually worked my way toward the shore. Jack and his wife thought they might have been over to the right more, so I walked toward that direction along the shoreline. Three steps later, the sentimental ring was found!

Allison called me yesterday morning about her ring that was lost on Saturday night in Ocean City, NJ. Her gold Tiffany ring accidentally dropped in the sand as she pulled some clothing out of her bag. We met on the beach and I started to detect the area. Erin called me yesterday about her friend Katie’s lost engagment ring. Katie lost her ring on the beach in Ocean City, NJ. The ring dropped in the sand while she was applying sunsceen. I met Erin’s husband, Bill, on the beach and he showed me the area it was lost. After a very quick search with my metal detector, the engagement ring was found.

LG gave me a call Saturday night about his lost wedding band in Stone Harbor, NJ. He was playing with his 3-year-old daughter in the water and she accidentally pulled it off of his finger. The challenge was that it was lost in the mud of the Stone Harbor Canal. It was nearly impossible to get out to the area since you sink around 2 feet down in the mud when trying to walk. I used the lucky duck float to maneuver out over the mud to the spot it could have dropped. I was able to lie down on the duck and swing the detector out in front of me. Once I got the signal, I was able to reach under the coil and dig it out. It was buried approximately 10 inches down. I pulled up the gold and platinum wedding band and showed it to LG. It just happened to be the 7 year anniversary of his engagement that it was returned.
