Late yesterday afternoon I got a call from Amanda. She was visiting from Wisconsin and had lost her platinum engagement ring out in the Gulf. They had looked for hours but weren’t able to find it and really wanted me to come before dark so they didn’t lose their spot on the beach.
My wife who is my good luck charm decided to come with me and we headed towards the beach.
When I got there, Amanda was with a big group of family. Some of them thought it was to the east and some to the west, some thought it was deeper and some shallower. Some had faith and some thought there was no way on earth I could find it. 😃 I love a challenge!
Amanda and a couple of family members came out with me and I got more information as I tried a few passes with no luck. I finally used a few of my tricks and changed areas based on what I heard from Amanda. Sure enough, I went just a little ways and to the astonishment of the family, I gently scooped up Amanda’s ring. 😃💍

It was a fun day at the beach in Avalon, NJ. Byron was enjoying the sun and sand with his family when disaster struck while he was playing with the kids near the surf – his ring came off! He searched frantically but had no luck. After returning to the house, his brother suggested calling Ring Finders South Jersey for help. Byron got in touch, I got the details, and met him on the beach within 20 minutes. Byron showed me the general location where he lost the ring, and I started to search. But for Doug, a fun day at the beach almost took a disastrous turn when his ring flew off while he was catching a football. Luckily, the story has a happy ending, thanks to the help of the Ring Finders South Jersey.

Doug was enjoying his time in Ventnor NJ, soaking up the sun and having a catch on the beach. But when Doug went to catch the football, disaster struck – his ring slipped off his finger and flew into the ocean. Allie quickly reached out to me for help finding the lost ring.
After asking a few questions to pinpoint the location, I began his search. After searching one area, Doug realized he was over a little further, and soon after, the metal detector picked up a great sounding signal. With a few digs, out popped the ring!
Doug and Allie were overjoyed to be reunited with the ring, and they could continue enjoying their time in Ventnor NJ. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, don’t hesitate to reach out to me who specializes in finding lost items on the beach.

I hadn’t been home from work too long this evening when I got a call from Anna. She was playing volleyball with her husband and some friends when her engagement ring went flying somewhere in the sand. I told her to stay there and I was on my way. When I got there they told me they had gone and purchased a detector but she quickly explained what I already knew, the cheap ones don’t work very well. I started searching and although I only had to look for a few minutes, their smiles beamed like I’d been searching for days when I held out the ring. Congrats Anna, I’m so glad that I could help. 😃💍

Jeremy’s friend Mark called because Jeremy had lost his wedding ring in the sand while playing football with friends at the beach. When going for the ball, his ring came off, and was completely hidden from him and his friends who searched hard for it. I let him know I would come ASAP in order to have a successful recovery.
When I arrived I went to the wrong place, and had to call in order to be redirected to where the loss occurred. When I found him he showed me the area, and how the loss occurred. I began my search, finding quite a bit of metal trash in the area which slowed down the search considerably. I searched the area he showed me, not finding the ring, so I began to expand the search zone. After about 5 more passes I found his ring. Jeremy and his friends were surprised it had gone into that area, but he was happy to have it back. Great smile!

Kevin said he was brushing the sand off his hands when he felt his ring fly off and into the sand. I drove approximately 40 minutes to meet him at the beach.
When I arrived he showed me the area where he lost it but I couldn’t locate it. I then started to check the wet sand and he said he thinks it is higher up in the dry sand so I checked the dry sand again without any luck so back to the wet sand I went and sure enough I got a signal and when I looked down I could see his ring sticking out of the sand.

June is a great time of year, weather is warming up, school is getting out for the summer, the beach scene is almost in full swing, graduations, prom, etc. That’s when Hailey had a horrible mishap. She was at the Jersey Shore for the weekend after the prom, enjoying the beach life, when her phone totally disappeared somehow, in the soft sugar sand of Seaside Park NJ. She reached out to me NJ Ring Finder, wondering if there was anything I could do to recover her phone. Everyone knows loosing your phone can wreak havoc, especially when its not totally backed up. I had been in the area already, so after getting the details, I headed right over to the spot she had figured it was lost. Just a short while later I had her phone, her drivers license, and some money, that was stashed inside the phone case, safely in my finds pouch. We agreed on a location to meet a few hours later. Hailey was so grateful to have her phone, and her belongings back, after a long and nervous separation.
Josh and Brittany were staying in Lotus Boutique Inn and Suites in Ormond Beach, Florida. Josh threw a football and immediately felt his ring fly off. They searched and searched in and around the pool with no luck. They thought the ring may have flown out into the powder dry sand on the beach just outside the pool, so they contacted Wes Wade who is President of the local Daytona Dig and Find Metal Detecting Club. Wes posted it online on July 15th.
I had just finished detecting in North Daytona and thought, “I haven’t heard of anyone finding that ring at Lotus and it was only about 3 miles north, so I thought I’d go check it out.
I located the venue and began a large sweep about 5 foot wide near the seawall. Nothing! I saw marks where it appeared someone had gridded it off. I decided to do another sweep of about 6 feet wide. Nothing but some trash items. I finally decide to do another sweep of about 6 feet.
In the middle, near the steps I got a good hit. But it was a 60 and sounded like a penny. I dug it and it was an older copper penny. When I went to cover the hole, something caught my eye. It was the diamonds of the ring that I was looking for on the outer edge of the hole.
I contacted Wes, who gave me the information and arranged for Josh to pick up his ring. Tears and happiness were evident when I called them…they picked it up a few days later.
