Silver wedding ring found in school athletic field

  • from Reading (Pennsylvania, United States)

I was notified to see if I could search a school athletic field in Clarks Summit, PA for a silver wedding ring. While playing water sports with the kids during their end of year field day, the ring had fallen off in a large field. I arrived to meet my client and he showed me the primary areas where he was playing. Using my Garrett ATPro I began searching in a grid pattern covering a large area. After a little more than an hour of searching I got the loud hit for his ring. He was sitting on the bleachers with his 3 year old when I approached him with his ring. He got chocked up and said he had just been praying with his young son that I would find the ring. A few minutes later his wife arrived and said she had just been praying as well while driving to our location. It was truly a blessing to return his ring and to see the smiles on their faces. Call me at 610-207-8677 whenever you need to find lost jewelry.

Lost Gold Ring Bradford County PA. Found

  • from New Albany (Pennsylvania, United States)

Don’s granddaughter texted me that he had lost his family heirloom gold ring while feeding his koi. Don was completely devastated ever since he felt the ring slide off his finger. Several weeks had passed and Don thought the ring was lost for ever. They even had a guy come out to look for the ring. He took one look at the size of the pond and told them” you’ll never find that”. He didn’t even try to search for the ring. A couple days later My family and I made the journey to Don’s koi pond. My wife and daughter help me out on most searches. My daughter Sarah helps in the water and my wife Traci documents the search and consoles the clients. On land hunts we all run metal detectors. When we arrived and saw the size of the pond and the fish I’ll have to admit, I was worried. Several of the fish exceeded three feet in length. My first thought was while he was feeding the fish the ring may have been mistaken for food and swallowed by a fish.

We got in the water and began our search anyway. The pond was a very old farm pond before it became a koi pond. There were tons of trash signals. There were so many signals I had to turn the sensitivity almost all all the way down on my metal detector. we pulled up coins, pull tabs, aluminum flashing and bits of rusted iron. There was one spot I kept coming back to. The third time at the same spot, I was locating with my metal detector while my daughter would go under with a pin pointer.  The water in this location was just deep enough our arms wouldn’t reach without diving down. After several times of diving down my daughter came up with the ring. “I found it” she exclaimed! Instantly Don broke down in tears of joy! I have never felt more joy in what we do as when we handed Don back his ring. Seeing Don’s tears and smile at the same time is why we do what we do!

  • from Bournemouth (England, United Kingdom)
Contact:

Mark, wife & family  visited Studland Beach from there home in Gloucester. Unfortunately Marks wedding ring slipped from his finger some time that day after building sand castles.

After receiving the call I visited the area not hopeful as it had been a day or two since losing it. Fortunately luck prevailed & I found the ring after only ten minutes. They’d had already left for home by then so I posted it to them to which they were most thankful.

A kind donation to the Margaret Green Animal Rescue was made to which I am most grateful .

24k pendant goes missing at Carlsbad baseball field!

  • from Arkansas City (Kansas, United States)

Received a call from a friend that a pendant was lost somewhere in left field at a baseball field. The story went that he noticed the chain had fallen off and was lying on the ground. But the 24k pendant was nowhere to be seen!

A week had passed by then and the lawn had been cut in the meanwhile. But the grass was just long enough for a pendant to be hiding somewhere. After 45 minutes of searching the client said it was a good try anyways and headed home. I continued searching, now outside the parameters of the search area. A girls softball team had shown up and was putting some pressure on me to find it soon or leave. I got a nice clear tone from my detector and hidden beneath the grass a beautiful pendant showed itself. The client was thrilled to get his pendant back.

Lost Platinum Wedding Band at Ala Moana Beach Park…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This ring find began when I got a text yesterday from Charles who lives in Honolulu. While enjoying the beach with his wife, Charles was sure when he swam halfway out to the buoys and back that his ring probably slipped off then. He wasn’t positive but that was the only place left to hunt. Since it’s 10-12 feet out towards the buoy I told Charlie it would require scuba gear and we agreed to meet the next morning at 6AM sharp at an extreme low tide. Charles arrived a little early and texted me that the parking near where we needed to be was packed. Construction vehicles and new lifeguard stalls were filled to capacity. This has never happened to me at Ala Moana Beach park this early. I parked about a block and a half away and told Charles I would just hump my gear down from there. When I got back to my car I realized the parking modifications included the stall I was in and I had to move. Charles saw a spot but someone grabbed it. I told him I’d cruise around and see what I could find. As I was coming back to our area a gentleman waved his hand that he was leaving. Low and behold the stall couldn’t be any closer to where I needed to be. Thank you Jesus! After donning my scuba gear Charles and I walked down to the beach and I had him draw lines in the sand to the extreme edges he thought he had been. When he was done I asked if he was sure and he asked if he could move the western grid line 10 feet farther. But of course! To do the entire grid he drew was going to take about an hour so I started on the west side and proceeded easterly. I had my orange grid line with me as the water was already starting to lose visibility. I went as far out as I could before it turns to muck and turned around towards the shore again. I got a great tone but it turned out to be a key. On the second leg I got another nice tone but the water was silted up and all I could do was grab handfuls of sand & rubble until I had the target in my hand. On the third grab I had the target in my hand and held it up to my mask to see what I had and it was a Platinum Ring. I surfaced in neck deep water which would be over my head on a high tide and told Charles I think I found your ring. After reading him the date he confirmed that was indeed his. Total time underwater 7 minutes. Had Charles not extended out his grid to the west I would have missed the ring by inches. Another Blessing! What a great ending to a day that started looking really bad. Aloha to Charles!

Sylvia Loses Three Diamond Wedding Rings Frantic In Home Search Tacoma WA

  • from Mercer Island (Washington, United States)

SeattleRingHunter Lost Item Recovery Specialist LAND & SCUBA Call ASAP 206-618-8194

This amazing story started with a call for help from a very stressed and tired couple. Sylvia and Callan reached out to me asking for my assistance in helping them find three missing diamond wedding rings.  We had a very extensive phone conversation and through my interview approach we reconstructed a time line and possible conditions that may guide us to recovery plan. So many great successes have happen when people take the time to open up and share the details of their loss. An open mind always helps when people are willing to be lead though the process as participants rather than bystanders. I tell people all the time the end goal is that your lost item of value is recovered however this may come about. I don’t have to be the one that finds it just allow me to assist you. We put a lot of ideas on the table and figured out where best to put my hands to work where it makes the most since. I told them its a team effort and hopefully by the end of the process we will have found your rings or at the very least have some strong confidence where it isn’t.

Sylvia’s three diamond rings were last seen on on her night stand on Thursday and it came to their attention two days later on Saturday they they were gone no where to be found. After a frantic few days of searching their home they contacted me on Wednesday the 2nd asking for help.

Callan explained his wife had just lost three separate gold wedding rings totaling several carrots in diamonds. I learned Sylvia is in the habit of taking her rings off each night and placing them in a dish on her night stand. When she went to collect her rings a few days later all three rings were missing and no where to be found. I inquired if any external people had access to her apartment. They explained their four year old daughter was at the home when the rings went missing. They had asked her and got mixed answers. It was also told to me that Sylvia had found her rings on the bed before because the young girl had previously played with them. There was no other persons in the apartment. They have a dog that doesn’t get on to things and a cat that may have jumped on to the night stand. We all had our suspicions that the young daughter might have migrated the rings to different places in the home that they had not looked yet. Prior to calling me they went through every inch of her things with not even a single ring found. I said that is odd that you lost all three and have’t even found one yet. I was told before she started lookin for her rings they had been cleaning the house all day. The whole time the daughter was happily at play.

I threw out a lot of typical suggestions to check clothing. They informed me they had already looked over their washer and close dryer. I also inquired about all the house hold garbage. Callan said he had gone through all of it. I pressed him a bit and asked how thorough of an inspection he had made. I was reassured with his military experience and deep drive to find his wife’s expensive wedding ring set he searched every scrap. A short time later in the conversation they had a memory that it might have been possible the kitchen trash was the only bag that was taken outside to the dumpster. They said that was about a week ago and believed it could have already been collected. I tried to reassure them that we needed to remain positive and not think the worst. They still had a lot of area to search within their home and soon there after I would drop by to do an in home inspection. We had schedule the home inspection for the 10th. In the mean time I left them with plenty of tips on how to continue searching and stressed that they had to remain very detailed and concise with their efforts. I left them with the following statement, “I pray God’s hand of protection are upon your rings, that they are still in the home and that we recover all three of them shortly!”

The next morning June 3rd at 8:45 AM I find the following photos on my text message from Callan.

Callan writes, “Found them in our trash bag at the bottom of our apartment dumpster.”

As soon as I noticed the text message I made a call to get the details. Callan told me that night in his sleep he recalled vacuuming his master bedroom while helping with the house cleaning effort. He remembered hearing three distinct noises being vacuumed up but thought nothing of it at the time and carried on. After the vacuuming the canister vacuum was emptied onto the kitchen trash and then that trash was taken out to the dumpster! When he woke up he went straight outside to to find a completely full trash dumpster He said he trashed a pair of pants and shoes as he made his way to very bottom of the dumpster where he located his kitchen trash bag. He noticed the pet hair and initial located two of the rings fairly quickly, got a bit stressed but found the third after a little more digging through the pet hair. They suspected Sylvia may have been hurried when she placed her rings on the corner of the night sand and possibly not into the dish. There was also some possibility their cat could have jumped onto the night stand as some point batting the rings off the table onto the floor below. As we were speaking on the phone wrapping up our conversation he stopped me to let me know the trash truck had just arrived to empty the dumpster!

Thank God for answering our prayers and prompting Callan in the middle of the night. We were all so very thankful for the outcome and once again shocked to learn of another set of wedding rings, this time not just one ring but three all being saved within moments of being hauled to the landfill never to have been seen again.

If you lost an item of value reach out to me directly with a phone call for a quick chat so we can work together to formulate a recovery plan for you!
