Struck Out…….

  • from Bristol (Vermont, United States)

Well, I wanted to share that after just 6 hours of going live I received my first call to help locate a lost Brooch. The lady informed me that it could be in her house, car, or local supermarket, but she was also in her yard working and was praying it wasn’t at the supermarket. She lived a half hour away and was a very stormy afternoon. I told her that after checking the radar to see if the storms had passed that I was enroute to her. It wasn’t a large area to cover and in less than an hour I had covered the area completely with no luck of it being there. I was hoping for a slam dunk but only had about a 25% chance it being in the grass. I’m hoping to hear that she finds it in her car or house.

Another wedding ring safely returned in Western Wisconsin!

  • from Chisago City (Minnesota, United States)
I got a call from a gentleman who had just gotten home from vacation and realized his wedding ring was missing. He had lost a little weight recently, so the ring was fitting a bit loose. He wasn’t sure if it had slipped off while carrying things into the house or somewhere in his yard. He had a pretty small backyard, so I met up with him and started searching right away. I checked the yard and his car with no luck. He then mentioned he had been out on the deck the night before, grabbing logs for the fireplace. I searched the log pile and a box of sawdust and kindling. Using my pin-pointer, I got a signal at the bottom of the kindling box — and there it was, buried in the sawdust! He was genuinely surprised. He told me he had pretty much been going through the motions and didn’t expect it to be found. Seeing how happy he was to have his ring back made the search very worthwhile.
If you’ve lost a ring or other piece of jewelry in Western Wisconsin, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to help.

Gold Ring Lost in Anahiem, CA. Backyard Grass Found by Stan the Metal Detector Man

  • from Newport Beach (California, United States)

Cloe needed he;p to find a lost ring in the backyard lawn, so she called me after finding me on a google seach. Stan the Metal Detector Man .. 949-500-2136

*** Cloe called for my metal detecting service after she lost her gold ring in grass at a yard of where she was babysitting youngsters. She was very confident that the ring was in the backyard. The location was near the city of Anahiem, CA. which is30 or 40 minutes drive for me.

I met Cloe later that afternoon and she took me to the large backyard explaining that she had been playing kickball all over the lawn area. It would have been difficult to see a small gold ring visually as much of the grass was a brown/yellow color.

I grid searched the lawn area getting many metal signals which were too deep to check by finger searching the grass. This type search could take forever dropping to my knees to investigate every signal.  After swinging my detector over 3/4 of the lawn area, I got a strong surface signal and the ID numbers on my detector were close to gold numbers. As I stared into the dead brown/yellow grass I spotted Cole’s ring.

She was standing near so I called her over to see where it had been hiding. She was so happy and grateful to have her ring back where it belongs..

Lost Tungsten Wedding Band at Aulani Beach Ko Olina Resort…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This ring find began as I was hunting the Aulani lagoon this morning, when a lady named Brenda, approached me and said, “My brother in law Ryan lost his gray Titanium ring right in this area.”  She was pointing in the area of the lagoon I had just gone through and found a gray Tungsten ring about ten minutes prior.  She asked if she could take a picture of the ring and send to him as he was off on an ABC store run.  Shortly there after she came back and said, “That’s the one!”  Often times people don’t remember the metal type of their rings.  A short time later Ryan and his lovely wife Linda arrived and the ring was a perfect fit.  Ryan told me he had been throwing a football when it came off but wasn’t exactly sure where it had fallen.  Vacation saved and back to San Francisco tomorrow with his ring on his finger.  Aloha to Ryan & Linda!

Steven was enjoying a warm beautiful summer day on Lake Fairview fishing and videoing some of his catches when he bumped his tripod and it tipped over…dropping his Iphone into the lake. His phone had 8 years of important information and pictures and he quickly thought of setting a pin or waypoint…is what a fisherman does to mark a specific spot on the water. And that action was very useful later on that week when Steven called me and explained what had happened. I met Steven and we sped out to “the” spot on the lake that was in about 7 feet deep water and I first thought of using my large Magnetar magnet but after an hour I decided to do a scuba dive. For scuba dives I use a perforated pvc rectangular frame that I sink to the bottom and it allows me to detect the bottom of the lake thoroughly one section at a time and it sets on the top of the silty or grassy bottom and I can detect the outer diameter and then the inside and can cover a 15 foot square area at a time. And when visibility is very very limited I am quite confident that I am not missing targets. It took a good hour and 15 minutes to cover at least 4 sections and on the fifth section I got a screaming signal that proved to be Steven’s lost cell phone! What a relief and stress were lifted off of Steven’s heart and mind and before I left for home I asked Steven if I could pray with him and I thanked God for His goodness and for leading me to find Steven’s lost cell phone.

What have you lost and how can I help you? We have metal detecting specialists all over the USA and Canada that are waiting to help you in your time of need. Call or text me ASAP and let’s talk!

t Ring Recovered on Cape May Beach, NJ by Ring Finders South Jersey

A relaxing day at the beach in Cape May, New Jersey, almost turned into a heartbreaking memory when Michael realized he had lost his wedding ring earlier in the day. After spending time searching the sand without success, he turned to Google for help and found RingFindersSouthJersey.com.

Michael immediately called me, John Favano of Ring Finders South Jersey, and explained the situation. During our conversation, I gathered important details about where he believed the ring had been lost, the activities he was doing at the time, and how long ago the loss occurred. This information is critical to maximizing the chances of a successful recovery.

Within 20 minutes of receiving Michael’s call, I was on the beach in Cape May with my professional metal detecting equipment and ready to begin the search. Time is often a key factor in beach recoveries, especially during the busy summer season when foot traffic, beach grooming, and changing sand conditions can make a lost ring even harder to locate.

Using the information Michael provided, I established a search grid and began a systematic sweep of the area. After only a short time, my metal detector produced a strong signal. A few scoops later, Michael’s ring appeared in the sand.

The relief and excitement on Michael’s face said it all. What started as a stressful day quickly turned into a successful recovery and a happy ending on the beaches of Cape May, NJ.

At Ring Finders South Jersey, I specialize in locating lost rings, jewelry, keys, phones, and other valuable items throughout Cape May County, Atlantic County, and the Jersey Shore. Lost family heirloom engagement ring recovered in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey

A beautiful beach day on Pittsburgh Ave in Wildwood Crest almost turned heartbreaking. I received a call from Alexis. Alexis explained that she had been on the beach earlier in the day with her family. While at the beach, she had removed all her rings and placed them in the velcro pouch on the side of her beach chair. After packing up and walking back home she checked the pouch and found that her multi generational heirloom engagement ring was gone, however, her other 3 rings were still in the pouch. Alexis immediately returned to the beach and began frantically searching the sand for her ring. Her activity drew the attention of other beach goers whom also joined the search. A few folks recommended to Alexis to call Ring Finders Cape May as “that guy finds everything”! After speaking with Alexis, I met up with her about 10 minutes later on the beach in Wildwood Crest. Alexis directed me to the area she had been set up and I began carefully searching the area. After about 45 minutes I had not received the tone I was searching for so I greatly expanded the search area as we both believed it may have fallen out when she began walking home from the beach. About another 30-45 minutes later I got the signal I had been searching for about 15-20 yards from the original search area. Sure enough, Alexis ring emerged from the sand in my scoop. Tears of joy began flowing instantly. Alexis explained that this ring had been passed down thru three generations of her family and was truly irreplaceable! Another happy couple, another beach day saved! If you find yourself in a similar situation, don’t give up hope! Lost Gold Wedding Band Found in Glen Dale, West Virginia by Metal Detecting Specialist Brian Carpenter 814-244-2300

  • from Indiana (Pennsylvania, United States)

Lost your ring, other valuable jewelry, cellphone, keys, or other metal object…call or text Brian Carpenter at (814)244-2300 as soon as possible. I am a ring recovery/metal detecting specialist serving Pittsburgh, Indiana (PA), and most of Western PA. Why rent or buy a metal detector when you can get a trained operator with top of the line equipment at the same time…

I got a text from Taylor asking if I Wheeling, West Virginia was too far. I thought about it and said to myself if the circumstances are good for a recovery I would make the trip. We talked and his wife had taken off her rings while cutting the lawn and pulled something out of her pocket while mowing. When she had finished her engagement ring was still there but her wedding band was gone. Taylor said he had gotten a cheap metal detector and tried to find the ring to no avail. The only thing that worried me was that the ring was lost a few weeks earlier and they had obviously cut the grass a few times since then.

So in the end I saddled up for a long drive to West Virginia. Upon my arrival I met Taylor and got started. I went through the whole back yard and nothing. I did find an old foil drink top tucked way down in the thick grass. It was well hidden from sight and gave me some extra hope/confidence that the ring could be entwined deep in this lush lawn. On to the the front and now the fun began. For some reason the back yard was quiet as an empty church but the front was chirping like crazy. I started adjusting my frequency and sensitivity. I got a little relief but not much. I kept moving trying to listen for a good repeatable signal amidst all the other noise. Suddenly I got one…I put my pin pointer into the grass and it started screaming. I was looking but could not find anything, then suddenly I caught a glimpse of the ring deep within the grass. Score! I sent Taylor a text with a picture of the ring and walked back to my truck to start putting my equipment away.

Then Taylor and his wife Kate came out. They could not believe that I found the ring and were very happy. It was an absolute pleasure to meet them both, another pair of kind and generous clients, and of course it is always great when you are able to recover their lost ring!!
