Gold Wedding Band Lost in the Sand at Hermosa Beach…Found and Happily Returned.

Damian contacted me about a ring he had lost 3 days prior. I let him know that I would do the search, but that with the passage of time the recovery opportunity diminishes. He agreed to do the search, but would not be able to meet me there. He gave concise directions to the area he believed the loss to have occurred, a very well traveled area, and I was on my way.

When I arrived, and looked the area over, the sand was untouched for most of the area he had given me. But I could tell that the county had groomed part of the area I would be searching with their machines. I began furthest from the groomed area, and made a tight grid working my way out. Finding mostly tin foil, bottle caps and some coins, the haul was normal. I was getting close to the machine cleaned area, when on the edge, received a good signal, dug, and had a ring. I took a picture of it, and sent it in a text to Damian to see if I found his ring. He assured me this was the one. I wanted to get it back to him as soon as possible, so He gave me his home address where his wife was there to receive it. Like I tell people, there is always hope. You just never know.

Lindsey called after having lost her two gold rings in the sand at the beach. She knew the area, and it happened earlier in the day, so I knew there was a good chance of making a recovery. I let her know I would get there as soon as I could to increase the possibility of a successful search.

When I got to the beach, it was already dark, but I assured Lindsey that if she could get me close to the area of the loss I should be able to find them. She walked me over to the area she had been in, and within 10 minutes, I was able to hand her back the rings that had a very high significance in her life. This was a great search.

Lost Platinum Engagement Ring Recovered at Tahoe Vista, Lake Tahoe

Received a text at 5:42pm requesting metal detecting services at the Tahoe Vista Recreational Area & Boat Launch.
Early that day on the Tahoe Vista Beach, the client took off her engagement and wedding rings to apply sunblock on the kids. She placed the rings on the beach chair. Later she picked up the chair causing the rings to fall into the sand. They were able to retrieve the wedding ring, but were unable to find the engagement ring.
The client and her husband met me at the ring loss location at 8:00pm. The very first solid signal turned out to be the lost platinum engagement ring. Everyone was happy with the beautiful sunset ring recovery.

I was contacted by Sean who thought he lost his gold wedding band while cutting his grass. We talked and I agreed to come out at his convivence to conduct a search.

Although it took a little while for our schedules to matchup I went out and met Sean who took me around his property where he wanted me to search. It was a large yard and there was a few spots he thought were more likely than others including one on the property line where the neighbor had just removed some trees. Even though some time had passed the grass in the yard was thick and dense and gave me hope that despite a few cuts the ring might still be hidden there. I got started and soon finished with a small portion of the front yard and the backyard. I was starting to wonder if I was going to be able to find it as I was starting to run out of real estate. Then in the area of the side yard where the trees had been removed I got a strong repeatable sound. I started poking around with my pin pointer and there is was! Sean came out of the house to meet me, very pleasantly surprised that I had found it. It was great to meet another kind and generous client and be able to reunite him with his lost wedding ring.

Elyse reached out to me about a class ring she lost in front of her house. She was doing something while getting into a car and it flew off her finger. We made arrangements and I went out the next morning to see if I could help find the ring.

I arrived and Elyse showed me where the car was parked and what she thought had happened. She described hearing the ring bounce on the pavement a few times. They were convinced that it must have bounced off the sidewalk and into the yard. She had been tried to locate it prior to my arrival with no luck. I searched the yard and curb strips several times with both a large and small coil and could not locate the ring. I was telling Elyse that I was all but positive that the ring was not in the yard and probably somewhere on the street. It was at that point Elyse went over to the car closest to us and looked underneath. Suddenly she emerged with her ring! Elyse was very excited to have her ring back and ruling out the yard for certain played a crucial part in the recovery. It was great to meet another kind and generous client and have her reunited with her lost ring!

Brittany was out at the beach with her family, enjoying the perfect day. A football hit her ear, knocking an earring off and into the sand. Her and her family scoured the area, sifting and raking, in hopes of recovering it. No luck. They contacted me, I arrived the next morning and began the search, after scanning the remaining earring. Earrings can be tricky to find, many are invisible to detectors or only give minimal signals. Took like a minute and found what she had lost. Happy family.

A wedding day creates memories that last forever. Bill and Jordan never expected one of those memories would involve searching for a missing wedding band only hours after exchanging vows.
Following their beautiful reception at the Icona in Wildwood Crest, NJ, members of the wedding party headed to the beach to celebrate. During the evening, Bill unknowingly lost his brand-new wedding band in the sand.
Despite searching throughout the night, the ring could not be found.
Fortunately, Jordan’s aunt Nicole had been following Ring Finders South Jersey on Facebook and knew exactly who to call.

Charles and his wife were relaxing on their dock enjoying the cool breeze when all of a sudden the unthinkable happened. Beautiful Wedding Band Lost, Recovered and Returned in Lewes, DE!!!

This nice couple was referred to me by fellow Ring Finder, John Favano. Lauren and her husband were enjoying a beautiful summer day on a Lewes bay beach when tragedy struck!  Her husband was tossing a ball back and forth while standing in knee deep water when he felt, saw and heard his ring fly off and “kerplunk” into the water at his feet. After looking for quite a bit they decided to track down a professional metal detectorist…I got the call around 4 pm Saturday and just happened to be on the beach 10 minutes away! I ran over and went straight to work…after finding quite a few bottle caps and pull tabs … about 20 minutes into the search I finally got the wedding band signal I was hoping for. After several attempts to scoop the target in 2 feet of water…I finally got it into the scoop. Looking down…I raised the scoop in triumph….there on top of all the sand in the scoop was a beautiful ring! I was very happy to be able to help this awesome couple!!!

LOST 14K WHITE GOLD WEDDING SET IN RIVER NEAR MILL SPRING, NC….FOUND!!!

Received a text from a young lady that stated she had lost her wedding ring set (two rings soldiered together) in a river that she was tubing on Friday July 3rd and asked if I could try and find it.

I said absolutely! The water was only about 2-3 feet deep and she lost it just before some rapids. So after work, I make the 3 plus hour drive and get to the spot. Grabbed my gear and headed down the little hill towards the river’s edge to assess the area.

Once in the water, I needed to try and figure out where she was based on the text message and screenshots received. I finally found what I thought was the spot and I get a good 72 VDI ring signal! It sounded loud and on top! The only issue was it was under a big log. I rolled the log to the right and scanned again. Now I’m really getting a good signal!! I went to get my goggles because I couldn’t see with the water moving and the suns glare. As I was coming back to the spot, the same “SUNS GLARE” actually shined down and I could see a silvery/white gold circle shining!! I reached down and pull it up!

I had to drive a ways to get cell signal back, but once I did I sent her the pictures and she was very happy!

Then I had to drive an hour to their house where I met her husband at the door! I said, “I hear your wife lost some rings!” He said, “Yes!” They both couldn’t believe it was still there and I found them! (on July 8th) Needless to say he was very excited to get them back as well!
