Pictures From A Day At The Beach Leads To Lost Gold Wedding Band Being Found On Very Wide Beach

  • from Emerald Isle (North Carolina, United States)

Emerald Isle, NC

Anne messaged Crystal Coast Ring Finders. She explained she may have lost a gold ring on the beach. She removed her ring and placed it in a backpack. They used the backpack to bike ride a few miles up to a nearby park. The next morning, I met Anne very early and we proceeded to the location. Anne lost the ring two days prior and tried to locate the ring while raking the sand surface the day after she lost it. Upon arrival, I could still see where she searched and started my hunt over that area. Unfortunately, I did not find anything except a few pieces of garbage metal. I asked Anne if anyone took any pictures of the area and this was the key to figure out exactly where they had set up during the beach visit. I began searching more to the Southwest. My XP Deus II locked onto a very loud signal. Seconds later, Anne’s custom made green gold wedding band was back in the sunlight.

Thank you Mabel (Anne’s young pup) for the assistance and entertainment!

North Topsail Beach, NC – Wedding Band Lost In Ocean, Found And Returned

Steve was spending some time in the ocean during a typical hot Summer North Carolina day. He mentioned he was swimming in about chest deep waters, jumping in the waves.  A large wave hit him and he felt his ring was gone!

Steve called me just after low tide that same day and I arrived the following day to search.  I found another man’s white gold band, in the ocean, a few miles away about an hour before.  I started my search parallel with the shoreline working my way out into the deeper water.  After finding nothing but a couple of pieces of trash, I started a vertical search.  After just a couple of passes, I got a good signal.  I was disappointed when I dug up a pop can tab.  A few steps later in the water, my machine displayed the very same target identification.  This time it was Stephen’s white gold wedding band!  I walked to shore and took some pictures.  Steve was about to go out with family for pizza and I sent him the photo thinking they had already left.  A large number of family members and Steve and his wife poured out onto the beach with surprise and joy!

Two Very Important Lost Rings Found After Kids Day At The Beach

  • from Emerald Isle (North Carolina, United States)

NORTH TOPSAIL, NC                                                                                        By: Crystal Coast Ring Finders

I was taking advantage of the calm Atlantic Ocean waves by metal detecting the waist deep waters of Emerald Isle, NC.  My phone, in it’s waterproof case, rang and I came out of the water to return the call.  Jeff informed me his wife Kim had lost 2 of her rings on the beach about an hour away from my current location.  I told Jeff I would load up the truck and head that way as soon as possible.

Upon arrival, Kim & Jeff informed me she was spending the day at the beach and removed her rings to apply sunscreen to the kids.  She became distracted and wasn’t sure where she placed them but feels they were on the beach blanket.  It wasn’t until she returned home to shower that she noticed her rings were missing.  Kim went back to the location and tried to search and found the area (because of a dead crab nearby).   Kim was unable to dig out the rings from the sand.  Marking the location was very important as I started to grid search the area and after one pass, I turned to start a second search line, and my metal detector sounded off very loudly.  I looked up at Jeff & Kim and smiled.  I was almost certain I had found them under the sand.  My pinpointer confirmed the location and I used my hand to scoop the rings to the surface.   Kim came a running after spotting the large cigar style ring.

Lost Necklace And Custom Gold Wedding Band Returned With Help

  • from Emerald Isle (North Carolina, United States)

Randy called me one evening to say he placed his ring & necklace in his beach chair before heading out for one last swim before going out to eat.  He folded up the chair and ran back to the beach house and then realized he didn’t have his jewelry.  Upon arrival, Randy gave me a quick description of where he walked back to the house (across a very wide area of the beach) and back to the area he felt he had the chair set up.  It was getting dark quickly and it was very hard to determine the exact location.  I performed a grid search that evening and made a few hikes to the house and back to the high tide line.  It was getting late and I was only finding trash so I called it for that evening.  Fortunately, I keep track of where I walked, with an online application,  and use this to return to search again if needed.

The next couple of days I wasn’t able to get back to try again.  Two days after Randy phoned me, a young honest lady (Amber) asked if I knew of anyone that lost a gold ring near The Point (Emerald Isle)?  I told her I was searching for a ring & necklace in that area.  She mentioned her little sister Alayna found the ring while searching for seashells.  She shared the picture of the custom ring with me. I asked Randy about his ring and he described it perfectly!  We had a match!  I knew the necklace must have been nearby.  I asked Amber where the ring came from and she mentioned just above the high tide line.  I headed back out at daybreak because the heat each day was too much for me to be walking in the hot sand with no shade.  I expanded my original search area and was within inches the 1st night of finding both.  I hit a very clean signal and one scoop into the sand I was able to pull Randy’s gold chain with a golden cross.  It was a fantastic feeling to know WE found both his wedding ring and his necklace!  I am so glad Amber and Alayna knew about Crystal Coast Ring Finders.

Lost Wedding Ring In The Ocean Found And Returned – Emerald Isle, NC

Crystal Coast Ring Finders – Emerald Isle, NC

Victor called me on a recommendation.  He stated he lost his wedding band of 3 years while enjoying the ocean.  I made plans to hunt before the next low tide (12:15 a.m.) and that was very late so I said there may be a chance it’s on the beach so I began searching just after 10:30.

Victor and his friends and family had gathered above the location and they knew just where Victor’s custom made gold band was lost.

I started my grid search well above the current tide and progressed down to the waves rolling onto the beach.  Just as I my boots were getting wet and the grid lines in the sand were being washed away, I hit a very strong signal.  Being that the ring was large, my detector screen displayed the high end of what a gold ring would signal.  One scoop into the sand and the following wave cleared out the sand.  I peaked inside and saw that beautiful golden circle!  I walked up to the group who had phones and lights running and let the ring roll out of the sand scoop in front of them.  It was a great feeling watching them celebrate the recovery!

Gold Wedding Band Lost During Emerald Isle Beach Trip Found Off Beach

  • from Emerald Isle (North Carolina, United States)

David gave Crystal Coast Ring Finders a call just before dark.  He stated he went to the beach and upon returning to his home, noticed his wedding band, he never removes, was gone.  David asked if I wanted to search the following day and I asked if he was near a public access on the beach.  I was worried with the popularity of metal detecting, someone would find the ring before morning.  David said yes it was near a public place so I said I would get there as soon as possible.

Upon arrival, I picked up David and we rode closer to the beach access.  David showed me where he parked his golf cart then grabbed a chair and a cooler and headed to the beach. I noticed there were about 5 vehicles parked.  We arrived at the place where he was sitting and a small group was nearby for a sea turtle hatch about to happen.  Fortunately, David was sitting far enough away I was able to search all around where he was sitting.  Nothing but trash was found during the beach search and I also searched the sand up to the steps leading to the street.  After a very thorough search, we returned to the parking area where it was now very dark and a vehicle was now in the area David’s golf cart was earlier that day.  I turned my headlamp on high beam and started to search around the vehicle.  I was looking for the bright reflection of the light beam on David’s ring.  Finally moving the back of the vehicle, and close to David, I spotted his ring laying in the street edge.  David was very relieved after snatching it up from the road.

I told him earlier, “I hate when I can’t find it!”.

Lost Platinum 2-Piece Mountain Ring Found And Quickly Returned – Pine Knoll Shores

  • from Emerald Isle (North Carolina, United States)

CRYSTAL COAST RING FINDERS:
Alex called to ask for assistance to locate Allison’s ring that was dropped on the beach.
The couple was attending a reunion of family members from various states. Allison was showing her grandmother the unique 2-piece ring when it was dropped and buried into the sand. Upon arrival, and between bursts of rain, I noticed they had marked a very small search area and with 4-5 swings of my detector coil I hit a very solid signal. I told them before uncovering the ring “I think this is it”. Using my pinpointer to find the exact location, I pulled up a handful of sand with Allison’s platinum ring. They were all heading back home the following day.

Safety First on Emerald Isle Beach Leads to Lost Charms Found By Crystal Coast Ring Finders

  • from Emerald Isle (North Carolina, United States)

Tindra

While applying sunscreen, Tindra noticed that the clasp on her necklace had come undone, causing her charms to fall into the soft sand below. Tindra managed to locate one of the before my arrival. Since she knew the general area to search, the recovery of the final charm was swift, and Tindra expressed great gratitude.

Tindra explained:  “The charms are family heirlooms from my family in Sweden.  They’re gifted to babies when they’re born and one of my charms is over 100 years old.  The “T” that I lost was from my Grandpa and gifted to me when I was a baby”
