Lost Ring Found On Honeymoon Island
Shelly and Derek were on the beach at Honeymoon Island State Park throwing a football in the water . Shelly noticed her ring was missing and found our SRARC Ringfinder website. The next day Shelly called Howard Metts and a hunt was set for the afternoon. Mike Shuler, Bill Galant, Dimitur Alipiev, and Howard Metts walked about a half mile up the beach to meet Shelly and Derek for the hunt. Five minutes into the hunt Howard came up with the beautiful ring. Turns out the day the ring of the ring recovery was Shelly and Derek’s Anniversary. I’m sure they will not forget this day!
Last Tuesday half of this nice lady’s engagement ring came off when the power went out, she had been doing laundry, dishes and was scrambling around the main floor of the house, and by time she was able to grab her cell phone for some light she noticed it was missing. After lighting some candles and regaining her composure, her and the fiancée started to look around some but to no avail. Add to this 2 cats and a really cool pit bull that likes to scoop things up off the floor. She thought maybe the ring came off in the bedroom closet as this was the last place she was before the lights went out. When I got there today, their thoughts were that the dog swallowed it. We had the other half of the ring so I got a read on that and scanned the dog and got a signal but they informed me that it was a microchip. So with no other signals on the dog I searched the yard area where he does his business and nothing showed up. Back into the house we went and I got out my dowsing rod and started to search in the bedroom. I treat all indoor searches like a crime scene and any signal from the dowsing rod gets investigated, meaning drawers getting dumped out, cabinets emptied, clothes pockets search, furniture moved, washers/dryers emptied, trash bags searched, whatever needs to get pilfered thru ect.
Just to be safe the fiancée took the dog to the vet for an x-ray which came back negative. Sweeping the dowsing rod I got some signals which produced other objects of value but not the ring. We went to the kitchen next and I swept the rod to cover the main floor and got a lock towards the living room, pointing towards one of the sofa’s…very strange she thought cus she didn’t remember being in there. When we got to the living room I saw a bowl of coins and thought maybe that’s what the dowsing rod reacted to even tho that’s not what I had in my mind during the dowse. We decided to search the cushions and behind the pillows, no luck until the sofa was moved and there this beautiful white gold and diamonds ring was just under the sofa on the wood floor! They were very happy and couldn’t believe they found it and how the ring got there. She vaguely remembers being in there and reaching down for a lighter, the ring must have come off then and she didn’t hear it hit the sofa/floor or one of the pets saw it and pushed it under the sofa. So, the ring found, lights back on, pets safe, happy couple, happy treasure hunter!

I received a call from Deboraugh Sunday evening about her lost engagement ring and wedding ring that were together. She told me that she was putting lotion on while in her vehicle traveling and her husband distracted her and THATS the last she remembered. She stated she had stopped at a number of places here in town. I said ok I can come search Monday after work. When I met her at the meeting place I searched her vehicle three times. So now we went out to the first place she stopped at along side the highway no luck. So home I went and thought about her ring’s. Deboraugh got sick and I didn’t here from her for two days. Then I receive her call again- desperate to find the rings. I said ok we will give it a shot at the other place she stopped at again no luck. So I called her and said I had no luck. She just happened to be a few miles from me so I met her. I looked on the passenger side of the vehicle and stopped and asked her what side were you on when you lost it. She said I was driving. I checked under the seat cover and down the sides and everywhere else then checked under the seat no ring I said I have to find this ring. Under her seat tucked up under a little compartment was some odd and ends nothing yet so I reached my hand as far as could to the back of the compartment and I pull what was there and guess what the ring popped out and I couldn’t believe it myself. I asked her does your ring look like this. She started crying and she said oh my gosh. She called her husband and he said no way. Persistence paid off for finding the ring and advice from a friend. Lost Wedding Ring in Houston, Texas found by John Volek (The Ring Finders – Houston)
I was contacted by Beau, a resident of Houston who was looking for someone to help him find his lost wedding ring. Beau reported he had been on a ladder cleaning out the gutters on his home when he realized his wedding ring was no longer on his finger. Beau said he had tossed the leaves from the gutters into the yard, and after discovering he had lost his ring spent hours searching the ground for his ring. Lost 1985 Texas A&M Class Ring…found by John Volek (The Ring Finders – Houston)
I was contacted by David, a resident of Iola, Texas who was searching for someone to assist him in recovering his lost ring. David reported he had been out on his property feeding the bass in his stocked pond when he lost his class ring. David said as he was throwing the feed out into the pond, his ring slipped of his finger and flew out into the pond. David said he immediately marked the area where he was standing when the ring flew off, knowing he was going to find a way to get his ring back.
David reported after a few efforts of wading into the cold pond with a rake, he realized it was going to be a little more involved, David realized he was going to need some help, and an internet search took him to Houston Metal Detecting Services – The Ring Finders Houston

Lost Texas A&M Ring in Houston, Texas…found by John Volek (The Ring Finders – Houston)
I was contacted by Eli, a resident of Houston who was looking for someone to help him find his lost Texas A&M Class Ring. Eli reported as he was leaving for work, and walking down a pathway towards the rail system, he reached in his pocket to put on his gloves. Eli said as he pulled his hand out of his pocket…his class ring snagged his pants and came off of his finger.
Eli said he heard his ring hit the concrete and then it just disappeared. Eli said he searched the grounds for hours, later realizing he would not be able to find his ring in the grass without the aid metal detector. Eli said a little internet search led him to Houston Metal Detecting Services – The Ring Finders Houston and inquired about renting a metal detector.
I provided Eli some referrals, and told him to call back if he needed some help with his detector when he started his search. Lost Wedding Ring in Alvin, Texas…found by John Volek (The Ring Finders – Houston)
I was contact by Brandon, a resident of Alvin, Texas who was looking for someone to help him find his lost wedding ring.
Brandon reported he had been out four wheeling with his daughter when the hit a muddy patch and got stuck. Brandon said he tried to free the four-wheeler but the mud was flying everywhere and land both on his daughter and himself.
Brandon said after getting his daughter situated, he set back out to free the four-wheeler from the muddy bog. Brandon said he ended up using his pick-up truck to and a tow rope to eventually free up the four-wheeler from the muddy bog.
Brandy said he recalled during the process of getting the four-wheeler free, he had dug mud from around the wheels with his bare hands. Brandon said he remembered cleaning and shaking off his hands numerous times during that incident,
Brandon said it was later that afternoon he realized he had lost his wedding ring…
Brandon said he had an old bounty hunter metal detector and set out to find his ring in the muddy bog…Brandon reported after hours of searching he was unsuccessful at finding his ring.

Lost Wedding Ring Houston, Texas found by John Volek (The Ring Finders – Houston)
I was contact by Calum a resident of Houston who was looking for someone to help him find his lost wedding ring. Calum reported he lost his ring in his backyard while cleaning out the swimming pool skimmer.
Calum said he believed the ring was in a small area of the grass in his backyard near the pool. Calum said he had been cleaning out the skimmer when he was tossing some debris into the grass when he felt his ring fly off of his finger. Calum said he spent several hours on his hands and knees in the grass looking for his ring, but was unsuccessful at finding his ring. Calum said, during his search he used a wall stud finder and put it on metal mode, and was able to find some metal debris but not his ring.

Lost Wedding Ring at the Black Horse Golf Course Cypress, Texas found by John Volek (The Ring Finders – Houston)
I was contact by Eddie who indicated he was looking for someone to help him find his lost wedding ring at the Black Horse Golf Course. Eddie report he had been at the golf course a few days earlier and believed he may have lost his wedding ring on or around the practice green. Eddie said he traditional takes his ring off when he plays golf, and remembered putting it in his right front pocket. Eddie said he believes he may have placed his cell phone in that same pocket as his ring during the practice session. Eddie said, he remembered checking his phone several times that day while he was on the practice green. Eddie said, he felt the ring may have fallen out of his pocket when he was checking his phone… Eddie said it was at the end of that practice session, when he realized his ring was no longer in his pocket.
Eddie said he walked the green several times looking for his ring, but was unsuccessful at finding it. Lost Wedding Ring “The Woodlands, Texas” found by John Volek (The Ring Finders – Houston)
I was contacted Allan ad Lisa from The Woodlands, they indicated they need help finding Lisa’s Wedding Ring that was lost last night in their backyard. Allan reported, Lisa had been in their backyard last night throwing some food to the deer and other small animals that live behind their home, Alan said, it was while Lisa was throwing the food she had the misfortune of losing her ring. Alan said while Lisa was throwing the food her ring slipped off her finger and flew over the fence into the easement between their home and the woods.
Alan said they spent a great deal of time that evening looking for her ring and were unsuccessful at finding it. Alan said they continued their search into the evening using flashlights in a hope of spotting the shiny ring…they had no luck.
