Lost Ring West Beach, Charlestown, RI… Found!

  • from Stonington (Connecticut, United States)

A Lost Ring at the Beach – How to Find my Ring in the Sand! Ruth lost her ring at the same beach where she married 13 years ago! Ruth took off her three rings to apply suntan lotion and placed the rings in her beach bag. She carried on with her day, forgetting to put the rings back on her finder. A couple of hours later, Ruth realized she had removed her cover-up and t-shirt from her beach bag. Ruth searched her belongings for the forgotten rings in a scramble and found two of the three lost rings. The most meaningful ring, her diamond wedding band, was missing. Ruth contacted me, and we were able to meet on the beach later that day. Within a few minutes of searching the sand for the lost ring with my metal detector, Ruth’s ring was back on her finger!

Lost Pearl Earring w/ Gold Chain Dangle Found In Detroit Michigan

  • from Detroit (Michigan, United States)

Happy Sweetest Day!

Whoever said diamonds are a girls best friend have never met Rachel. Even tho she and her fiancee tied the knot a week ago and exchanged beautiful rings, there was something very sentimental dangling from her ears that went missing during the festivities. The items are family heirlooms that have been passed down to each bride to be and have been worn on that special day for many generations. The search areas on the facility was an upstairs with a slatted wood floor, outside stairwell, a pebbly gravel outside dining area and a few slatted wood docks primarily used for photo shoots over canals coming off the Detroit river. All these areas were a possibility of where Rachel’s missing item could be. She had an idea of where she was so we started to walk the route. Skipping the inside we walked the gravel area with my metal detector. Nothing signaled thru the headphones. As we approached one of the docks a small white object was spotted just barely visible between the slats. We rushed closer and looking down was her missing pearl earring wedged in between the slat! We gracefully worked it out and ran back onto solid ground. Her and her husband teared up a bit and were totally amazed that the earring was found and didn’t fall into the water. Showing it to him they both joyfully said this was the best sweetest day they have had. Their tradition will live on! So, for the ladies…..forget about the superstition that wearing pearls to your wedding brings a lifetime of tears…..the only tears I saw today was from finding a pearl!

White Gold Wedding Ring Lost In Compost Bin! Bonnie Doon Edmonton, Alberta

  • from Edmonton (Alberta, Canada)
Contact:

I received a call late last evening from Linda requesting my service to locate her husband’s wedding band which he had lost in a compost bin earlier that evening! After asking Linda a few questions I agreed to search for the ring this morning.
I met with Linda & Keith and they showed me the bin that the ring was lost in. The bin size was approx. 4’x 5’x 3’ high. I asked Keith to show me what he was doing and he told me he was breaking clumps of dirt and that he heard his ring bounce off the side of the bin. I searched the bin, and no ring was to be found, we even pulled out some compost and placed it on a tarp and shifted through it and still no ring. I asked Keith again what he was doing and he said he was 98% sure he heard the ring bounce off the inside of the bin and that the ring had to be in there.
After exhausting all possible areas around the bin I was 100% sure the ring was not there.
I asked Keith what else he was doing before he went to the compost bin. He said he picked up some bedding plants out of the City Recycle Green Bin and put it in his compost bin. We head off to the other side of his yard to the green bin  I received a sweet sound from the inside of the green bin and there was Keith’s ring. Happy smiles from everyone. Thank you Linda & Keith for entrusting me to find your Lost Ring.
Another happy Client.

Jessica and family were up from Venice, Fl to visit with her sister Laura and family living on Anna Maria Island. Laura and her family will soon be leaving for an extended trip to France so on Sunday afternoon both family’s headed to down the block to the beach to enjoy some time on the sand and playing in the Gulf. Jessica took both her engagement and wedding ring off and stored them safely in her shorts pocket. At some point in the afternoon, Jessica and Laura decided to play teenage girls again and started doing cartwheels up and down the beach. As evening approached they all packed up and headed for home. As they walked off the Beach Jessica reached into her pocket to get her rings and terror struck her heart. Nothing was in her pocket. They all returned to the beach and searched but soon realized it was fruitless since they didn’t have any real idea when the rings had been lost. Jessica’s husband googled lost and found Anna Maria Island and the SRARC ring finders popped up. Jessica was soon in touch with Joe Szemer who contacted Mike Miller. Mike made arrangements to meet with Laura the next morning to do the hunt. Laura staked out the area where they had been and Mike went to work. After about 45 minutes Mike got a hit and took a scoop of sand and dumped it out of the scoop. Right away he saw a shiny white gold object reflected in the sun. He motioned Laura over and pointed. Laura excitedly kneeled down and recovered the engagement ring. She then looked up at Mike and said “ There is another ring”. Mike took a swing over the same sand pile and then pinpointed the spot for her. She reached into the sand and up came the wedding ring. She couldn’t believe we had found them and instantly called her sister with the great news. Jessica was already in route from Venice in hopes the rings would be found and began crying as she received the good news. Mike was invited in for coffee while we waited for Jessica to arrive. After she arrived and the rings had been returned we all sat around the table and had a great conversation about their whole families adventures in moving from France to the USA. I want to welcome them all to the USA and thank them for their kind treatment of me. Most of all I loved to see the BIG SMILES on their faces as we parted ways.

A Heartfelt Reunion: Recovering a Lost Wedding Ring After 14 Years in Santa Clarita

  • from Oxnard (California, United States)

Several months ago, Stephanie reached out to me with a plea for help: her father-in-law’s wedding ring had vanished into the depths of their backyard, and she wondered if I could assist in the search. Due to scheduling constraints, it wasn’t until today that I could embark on the quest. Arriving at the residence, I met Sheryl, Stephanie’s mother-in-law, who recounted the tale of the lost ring—a mystery spanning over 14 years.

The circumstances surrounding the ring’s disappearance were shrouded in uncertainty. It was suspected that the ring had slipped off during a routine yard-mowing session, a task made challenging by her husband’s medical condition, which necessitated temporarily shifting the ring’s position on his finger. Despite their efforts to locate it, the ring remained elusive, leaving behind a void that lingered in the hearts of their family.

Undeterred by the odds stacked against us, I commenced the search, methodically combing through the expanse of the yard. Amidst a slew of discarded nickels and aluminum can slaw, the ring remained concealed, evading detection until the very end. As I reached the final stretch of the yard, a faint signal—13-15 on my metal detector—beckoned me to investigate further. Hesitant yet compelled by an inexplicable intuition, I plunged into the earth, bracing myself for what lay beneath.

Eight inches below the surface, buried beneath layers of soil and sod, lay the long-lost ring—a testament to resilience and enduring love. With trembling hands, I emerged from the depths, clutching the precious artifact that had eluded discovery for over a decade. The moment of revelation, as I presented the ring to Sheryl, was nothing short of magical—a culmination of hope, faith, and unwavering determination.

In that fleeting instant, tears mingled with laughter as the weight of 14 years of longing dissolved into sheer joy. It was a reminder of the extraordinary power of perseverance and the miraculous ways in which fate intertwines with human endeavor.

If you find yourself grappling with the loss of a cherished ring, do not despair. Whether it’s been days, months, or even years, know that hope remains alive. Reach out to me at 805-290-5009, and together, we’ll embark on a journey to reunite you with your beloved possession. With patience, persistence, and a touch of divine intervention, miracles can indeed come to pass.

Ring Lost On Popular Beach Location Found One Month Later By Crystal Coast Ring Finders

  • from Emerald Isle (North Carolina, United States)

Bogue Inlet Pier – Emerald Isle, NC

Lauren visited Bogue Inlet Pier on September 7th with her son as was wading in the surf when a larger wave knocked her over.  She told me her hands went into the sand and she felt her chocolate diamond ring slide off of her finger.  She was very upset but noticed a man out with his detector and went to him for help.  Bogue Inlet Pier (BIP) gets a lot of beach traffic and also many detectorist come there to search for “treasures”.   After being unable to find her ring, the gentleman suggested she contact Crystal Coast Ring Finders.  I made plans to hunt the very next low tide early in the morning and only a few hours after the loss of the ring.  The surf was still very strong and I too was unsuccessful.  Lauren was very upset when I talked with her and I felt terrible I could not make the recovery that morning.  I live near BIP and each time I went there to hunt the beach, I made it a point to search the area of Lauren’s lost ring.  Recently, we had some sand movement that allowed the replenished beach sand to move.  This created a low spot near the water’s edge.  To my surprise, after so many days lost and I’m sure, many other metal detectors hunting the same area, her ring was rescued on the evening of October 7th.  It was about 50 yards further West on the beach.  I had not met Lauren yet and messaged her to tell her I needed her to fill out my standard search contract.  We agreed to meet at her father’s business.  After we met and she completed the search contract without knowing I had her lost ring,.. I gave her one of my business cards.  When she turned the card over, her lost ring was taped to the back of the card.  She burst into tears.  I was very happy that something very good happened to Lauren this year as she explained it hadn’t been going well.

*** Vanessa and her family were in Huntington Beach, CA. visiting relatives. While playing in the ocean withe her kids, her white gold diamond engagement ring  was lost in the surf. She and her husband had been together for 20 years and the had just given her the ring a couple weeks before.

Venessa’s cousin, Chantel found my phone number while searching the internet. Chantel gave me detatailed information on the time of day the ring was lost. It was 20 ft. north of lifeguard tower 17. Because it was lost at high tide, I felt we had a chance to find ring at a 2am low tide.

Arriving  at Huntington Beach a half hour before low tide and after about an hour of grid searching, my detector gave me the great signal that turned out to be Venessa ’s ring. I waited till 8am to call them with the good news followed by a photo of the ring.

Venessa and her husband were returning their home in Arizona today, so they were able to stop by to pick up the ring. A very happy couple and it was my pleasure to be available to help them.

Texas A&M Class Ring Lost during a little softball practice, found by John Volek TRF-Houston

I was contacted by Maddie a 2018 Texas A&M graduate, who was looking for someone to help her find her lost  2018 Texas A&M Class ring.

Maddie reported she was at mom’s house in Katy, Texas when she lost her ring while playing catch in the front yard. Maddie said the ring flew off her finger during one of her throws and felt very confident it was somewhere in the front yard.

Maddie said she and her friend spent several hours searching for her ring in the front yard with no success. It was at that point Maddie’s mother did an internet search and found The Ring Finders Metal Detecting Services and placed the call.

I met with Maddie at her mom’s residence in Katy where we walked through the events leading up to her losing her ring. After a short grid search of the front yard, Maddie was re-united with her class ring.

Always fun finding these Texas A&M Class Rings!

Gold Wedding Ring Lost in a Cypress, Texas back yard while playing toss with the dog, recovered by John Volek-TRF Houston

Gold Wedding Ring Lost in a Cypress, Texas back yard while playing toss with the dog, recovered by John Volek-TRF Houston

I was contacted by Nikos a resident of Cypress, Texas who was looking for help in finding his lost Gold wedding band in the backyard of his residence. Nikos reported he had been throwing his dog’s fetch toy in the backyard of his residence when the ring was lost. He stated during one of the throws his custom-made gold wedding ring flew off his finger and landed somewhere in his backyard.

Nikos said he spent several hours searching for his ring, and eventually procured a metal detector to aid him in his searching efforts.  After several attempts with the metal detector and many hours in the Texas heat, Nikos realized he needed some help and conducted a little internet research and came across The Ring Finders Metal Detecting Service. Nikos said, he placed the call without hesitation and asked how successful I felt about finding his lost wedding ring.

After setting up a time with Nikos, I arrived the following day and conducted the search for his lost ring.  Nikos walked me through his steps and re-enacted the throwing of the dog toy to demonstrate the pathway the ring may have taken.

The photographs show the outcome of this search and help to illustrate that just renting or borrowing a metal detector may not always be the solution.

Great day in Texas!
