White Gold Wedding Ring Lost In Compost Bin! Bonnie Doon Edmonton, Alberta

  • from Edmonton (Alberta, Canada)
Contact:

I received a call late last evening from Linda requesting my service to locate her husband’s wedding band which he had lost in a compost bin earlier that evening! After asking Linda a few questions I agreed to search for the ring this morning.
I met with Linda & Keith and they showed me the bin that the ring was lost in. The bin size was approx. 4’x 5’x 3’ high. I asked Keith to show me what he was doing and he told me he was breaking clumps of dirt and that he heard his ring bounce off the side of the bin. I searched the bin, and no ring was to be found, we even pulled out some compost and placed it on a tarp and shifted through it and still no ring. I asked Keith again what he was doing and he said he was 98% sure he heard the ring bounce off the inside of the bin and that the ring had to be in there.
After exhausting all possible areas around the bin I was 100% sure the ring was not there.
I asked Keith what else he was doing before he went to the compost bin. He said he picked up some bedding plants out of the City Recycle Green Bin and put it in his compost bin. We head off to the other side of his yard to the green bin  I received a sweet sound from the inside of the green bin and there was Keith’s ring. Happy smiles from everyone. Thank you Linda & Keith for entrusting me to find your Lost Ring.

Ray called me this morning requesting my service to locate his 24 year old wedding ring which he lost during the weekend while doing some landscaping on his acreage.
I told Ray I would drop by around 2:00pm and find his ring for him. When I arrived I met his wife Shama and she showed me the area they both were working at in the yard. She said that she took her rings off and put them in her pocket, Ray took his ring off and placed the ring on the tractors fender and kept on placing rocks and bark mulch along his yard and without realizing he hopped on the tractor and moved more mulch around the yard. When they were finished Ray realized his ring was missing.
I picked up my Nox with a 6” coil and search the area where the tractor was first parked. Within ten minutes I had Ray’s ring in my hand.

I called Shama over and she could not believe her eyes or that I had found his ring so quickly.

Platinum 950 Wedding Ring Lost At Jackfish Lake! Village Of Meota, Saskatchewan.

  • from Edmonton (Alberta, Canada)

Evrhetton called me on July 9th requesting my service to find his wedding band in Jackfish Lake!
After asking Evrhetton a few questions, he was certain of the location where his ring fell off in the water. He sent me a picture of the area with a marker of the approximate area where the ring could be.
The Village of Meota Saskatchewan is approximately 400km east of Edmonton and a 4 hour drive for me! Again after asking a few more questions I agreed to do a recovery search for his ring but unfortunately Evrhetton was not able to be there due to work commitments which made the search more difficult for me. I agreed to head out early on Monday morning, the 19th July.
Arriving in Meota around 9:30 am I found the lake calm and had a good feeling about this recovery search. Once the markers were set up I began my search. After 3.5 hours and reviewing the pictures Evrhetton sent me, I called Evrhetton and had him talk me through to the exact location. He said he was beside a sea doo and dove to catch a football and that’s where he was certain his ring came off, or 20 feet to the right of the sea doo. After taking a break and re-evaluating the situation I thought that the ring was possibly further out due to its size and weight. I also determined that by throwing the football with force it was quite possible that the ring had flown further out.
I again rearranged my markers further out into the lake. After a six hour search I received a sweet tone in my ears and said to myself “YES, this has to be the ring! I scooped it up and yes I had a ring! After checking the inscription on the ring 07/27/2019, it was indeed the ring that I was looking for. I met up with Evrhetton today in Edmonton and on his second anniversary 07/27/2021.  He was very grateful I that was able to find his ring and once again his ring is back where it belongs, on his finger. Thank you Evrhetton for giving me the challenge of finding your ring.
