I frantically called Dennis today to see if he would be able to help me find my wedding ring at Pt Pleasant Beach. It had come off my finger as I applied sunscreen on my daughter. He was at the beach within the hour and located my ring within 2 mins of beginning his search. Calling Dennis was the best thing I could have done because there was no way it would have been located without him. Thank you so much for finding my ring today Dennis. It means so much to me and my wife that you dropped what you were doing to come assist us today.

The engagement ring was only 3 months old. It was given to Shannon when Brandon proposed to her in Ireland. Forward 3 months… I received a call from Shannon stating that she had lost her engagement ring on the beach in Sea Isle City NJ. After a quick 15 minute search the ring was found and returned!
The couple was extremely happy that they could continue their vacation!

March 2023 As I was traveling home from a previous search I received a call from Trina at 8:45 PM on aFriday evening. She explained she has just lost a 2.4 Ct diamond wedding ring the day before.
Last known location of ring was in her home bathroom washing it off so would sparkle more. She said I remember putting in on my finger as she was heading out of her home for event at the Seattle Rainier Club smack dab in the middle of Seattle down town.
Her husband drove her to the venue and let her out at curb side on 4th Ave. She entered the venue at 3:00 PM, late afternoon with plenty of daylight still shining. Few hours into the event she goes to the ladies restroom and takes a photo of her hair doo as she was a bit dissatisfied with her recent cut. Later after getting home realizing her wedding ring of over ten years is no longer on her finger. She reference the photo of her hair style and there is clearly no ring on her finger.
With out prompting she says I think I may have taken my ring off in the truck on the way to the venue to put lotion on my hands. I most likely set my ring on my leg. She had been wearing denim pants at the time. Often times ladies with dresses or skirts will place their wedding rings on the clothing between their legs as it makes a nice nesting spot but it all to often turns to devastation after realizing they got side tracked and forgot to collect them before getting up and leaving the vehicle. Trina tells me she believes this may have been the action for the loss as she has done this in the past! At that time she heard her ring hit the concrete and was able to pick it up off the ground.
I said it’s 50% either way in your truck or it went outside and landed on the ground. The probability after twenty-four hours in down town Seattle on the concrete is a scary thing to think about but keep the hope alive and may God’s hand of protection be upon your ring. As we wrapped up our conversation I asked a few clarifying questions. Did you look in your truck and she said yes but she was open to me searching the truck in the morning. Towards the end of the call she had already told me she had put out a high alert at the Seattle Rainier Club and they were checking for her the best they could.I asked her if she had checked the road side yet and she told me they had not. At this point I knew I had to turn back to downtown Seattle for a quick site inspection. I reassured her with all that we know we just don’t know unless we check and time is critical. I agreed to investigate the site and having already reviewed Google street images it didn’t look promising as it was 95% concrete and asphalt everywhere! I told heI would update her on my findings and if the ring was not found I would counsel her on how to post a proper Craig’s List lost item report and we could meet in the morning to search her truck.

I received a call from Eddie asking if I could help find his wedding ring near the Huntington Beach Pier. He told me he was leaving to go have dinner with his family and he would meet me later.
I decided to go early and do some detecting for myself until I realized the sun would be setting soon, so I called Eddie and asked for the location of the loss. I headed over to the spot and within 5 minutes I found his Tungsten wedding ring. It helped that I could see where they were running their fingers through the sand.
When Eddie arrived I met him in the parking lot and handed him my business card and that’s when he saw I was wearing his ring. The look on his face was priceless.
Got a call last night from Helen asking if I could help in locating her husband’s Larry’s wedding band. Told her I’d be happy to and made arrangements to meet them the next day. Turns out that Helen and Larry were having an argument in during that Larry gave his ring back to Helen and in the heat of the moment she threw it off the back deck. Regretting it they tried to find it but had no luck. In doing so they threw things off the deck to get an idea where it might be. Helen said to me it was further back in the yard and I started there but no results. The second area was closer to the deck and within about 15 feet of it I found his ring. She must of thrown it more down then out. They were so glad to get his ring back and promised no more arrangements. A great happy ending. Just got a call from a lady who’s husband has lost his ring. He was hand digging a French drain around the foundation to try to keep most of the water from getting into their basement. He lost it yesterday and they haven’t been able to find it.
I went right over and he showed me the search area. I got started and as expected there were tons of signals around their older house. But, miraculously, in only about 10 minutes, I got a solid ring tone, dug into the frozen ice and slush about 2 inches, and there it was in perfect condition!
They were both so happy and declared that they were “married again”!!
It’s back where it belongs, right on his finger, and he got right back to diggin!
I got a text from Tim after he found me doing a Google search asking if I could help in locating his wife’s engagement ring. They weren’t sure if it was lost in their yard or the house but after searching the house they thought it had to be in the back yard. I was off work the next day so we made arrangements to meet in the morning. Tim’s wife was filling up a bird feeder in the back yard when she felt her wedding band slide off her hand. She found it at her feet but a family heirloom engagement ring was missing. They walked around the yard but couldn’t find it. She showed me the path she walked after filling the feeder to where it was hung, then she remembered she stood on the back porch and threw some dog treats to her dog in the yard. I figured that when the ring might of came off. I started a grid of the yard and on the 5th pass right about where the treats would of landed I found her ring shinning in the sun between the blades of grass. ( they didn’t want their picture published and sorry bout the blade of grass in the picture ) She was so happy to get her precious ring back where it belonged. Livi contacted me and asked if I could help find her wedding ring she lost yesterday at a local park while throwing a ball to her dog. She got my info from a friend of hers that had heard about my service.
Livi showed me where she threw the ball and I started my search in the direction of her throw. After a good hour of grid searching with no ring to be found I decided to search the spot where she was standing while throwing the ball. Right away I received a nice tone that was showing very shallow on my depth meter.
Her gold diamond ring was nestled in the grass and the search was over.
I was contacted by James way back in late February of this year inquiring if I could search for his lost wedding band and what the process is. The 18k English gold wedding band was lost within 15m of the edge at a specific spot into Professors Lake in Brampton, ON. His wedding band was actually lost 16 years ago!
I explained that I would need special permission to search that area of the Lake and I would start early to mid summer if permission was received.
I reached out to James in early June and was connected to his Father-in-Law Brian who is a local resident in the area of the Lake.
After weeks of trying to obtain permission I received the go-ahead from Commissioner Parks prior to his retirement.
The next day I had teamed up with James’ Father-in-Law Brian unbeknownst to James and we proceeded to the area. I was also very grateful for my work colleague Carlos for keeping an eye on the situation as I deemed Brian my water safety spotter.
With-in 20 minutes of entering the water, pulling out old pop cans, a glass jar, fishing lures and garbage, I heard the sweet tone of gold on my underwater metal detector. I pulled out the underwater pin pointer and zoned in on the lost wedding band. WE FOUND IT!!

Next day I met with Brian and proceeded to FaceTime James pretending to ask more questions about the lost wedding band. We completed the task of surprising James with much surprise and delight. James then planned to surprise his lovely Wife on their 17th Wedding Anniversary day while spending it with Family. It was priceless!
James had also inscribed the wedding band with “What was lost is now found”. Beautiful.
