Lost Gold Ring Found in Saint Clair Michigan

and the trick or treats but when Halloween was all said and done, Mark’s ring was missing. Pulling a graveyard shift into dead of the night he didn’t want to turn into a pumpkin, so he stopped searching. Did the ring come off while passing out candy? Did it fall into someone’s candy bag? Or did it fall off earlier that day doing yard chores? He was spellbound by the eerie disappearance and got a toy type metal detector hoping that would work but perhaps brought about bats in the belfry trying to use it after no luck with it. Playing the devil’s advocate, I said there’s more than a ghost of a chance I’ll find the ring if it’s there in your yard. I started a grid search after finding out the area Mark was during the day. A few sweeps of the metal detector coil off in a grass area revealed his ring! I held it up and said here’s your boo-tiful ring! He said thank you and that he was scared stiff that the ring would not be found. I ghoulishly smiled and said I had a scary good time!

Lucky Day, Found Key at Dog Park

I got a call from a lady who had lost her Nissan Leaf key while walking in a local dog park. It’s a former golf course, and much of the area the grass is a little deep.

We met there and she showed me roughly where she and her handsome Golden Doodle had walked. Then she went home. I made many passes where I thought it might most likely be, with no luck. I was beginning to think someone had already found it and was trying to locate the owner.

Then I remembered there was a lot of freshly fallen leaves back near the parking lot. I worked that area and was nearly out of spots to try, when I got a good signal. There it was, hidden in the leaves!

Courtney’s Nightmares…..

About her lost engagement ring have been haunting her for a while. Ever since last September at her sister’s Labor Day gathering reoccurring thoughts day and night overwhelm her as to its whereabouts. When will these dark thoughts stop troubling her? How long will its location be cloaked in mystery? Or will the spiritual power of the rose gold and agate stone help return it and reunite her with the new beginnings in her life? The night was dark as a velvet carpet and as she travelled to her sister’s place for Halloween, she began to have premonitions of finding her ring. Arriving to find a bonfire and trick or treaters lifted her spirits. Around the witching hour, as she sat next to the dwindling bonfire she drifted off into sleep. In a dream a man appeared with a machine that howled as he passed it along the ground. He reached down and exhumed an object and walked towards her. Placing it in her hand she was startled awake by her sister shouting BOO! trick or treat… while nudging her asking if she was ok. Courtney said yes and excitedly exclaimed that she found her ring. Where? How? the sister asked. It was here, next to the fire, I fell asleep and a man with a metal detector handed it to me! I didn’t see anyone out here the sister said and added, ok enough of the spine-tingling stories can’t you just creep things real??  Courtney said, believe whitcha want but the ring can finally rest in peace on my finger where it belongs, how’s that for a scarytale ending!

Ashley had lost a very special ring, the first peice of jewelry that her husband had given her. Call it a promise ring if you want. That particular day her fingers felt extra swollen and puffy so she put the ring on another finger after she managed to get it off the regular one. She was very devastated but she was also able to remember details that helped narrow down the area that she lost it in. To me with all my experience it made logical sense, enough that I took the trip. I searched the given area but no ring……. I was then talking with her son Sebastian about what he remembered about that day a few months ago. He got me thinking and I expanded my search area. Boom I got the hit. Now Sebastian was very curious about metal detecting by time I had gotten the signal so I thought of something. I went back and we dug some coin signals together. After a little lesson I took him to the area where I got the ring signal. I gave him my Manticore and told him to swing. Boom the signal nice and loud. He bent down and retrieved the target out of the sandy western Nebraska soil and was able to return his moms ring to her. Wow, money can’t buy moments like this. After some pictures and talking, Sebastian said that he had lost a ring while mowing the ditch this summer. We grabbed some gear and not long after that he had his ring back. Oh the smiles. Its always my honor to help put smiles back on people’s faces.

Ring Rescued from backyard in Smithfield VA!

David was grooming his dog when all of a sudden his wedding band took flight! he looked for it and could not find it. He checked the internet and contacted me through the ring finders network. WE were able to recover the ring in just a few minutes. David is out of the doghouse!

Tim was taking care of some yard work and playing with his dog when he felt his wedding ring fly off in the backyard. He and his wife did a thorough search and even raked the area, but could not find it. He contacted me on Sunday and I was able to head right over. After hearing the details, I searched the most likely area and was able to recover the ring. I am very thankful to be able to help another young couple.

Aaron was enjoying some fall fun with his family at the beautiful Endless View Farms when his ring fell off in an enormous pit full of corn that was set up for everyone to play in. They searched for hours, but had no luck. After Aaron left, the staff told me that another person with a metal detector searched the corn, but also could not find it. When he got home Aaron contacted me and I was able to get to the farm the next day. I ended up getting there a little ahead of time so I headed to the pit. After a few minutes I got a faint signal. I moved away about a foot of corn and it got stronger. About 2 feet down, there it was. Soon after, Aaron arrived and I was able to meet him with good news and put the ring back in his hands where it belongs.

Lost boundary stakes confirmed in Raphine, Virginia.

David contacted me about locating some boundary pins at the corners of his property. I was able to meet him and his wife the next day along with another gentleman who is going to perform some work on this beautiful property. Two of the stakes were pretty easy to access and I was able to confirm the location of the original metal pins, the other two were more of a challenge, but after climbing some old wire fencing and fighting through some brush all the pins were found and confirmed. It’s always great to meet new people and see the projects they are working on. I hope this one turns out great for David and his wife.

Lost Ring Rescued After Playing Football in Stevens Point Yard

Cerria contacted me via text on October 15th requesting my help to help recover a ring she lost throwing the football around with one of her sons a few days ago. She mentioned “I lost the ring in my yard. I was wearing two rings on the same finger. I found one that landed and rolled on the concrete…this was a heavier one. The other, I have had not any luck finding and assuming the ring landed in the grass. I’m devastated. It’s a thinner gold ring with diamonds.” We agreed on a time to meet on Friday AM, October 17th. Like a good detective. I always try to ask good questions and had Cierra recreate the activity. She suggested I look in the same area where the heavier ring was found. I looked thoroughly…The grass was sod and very, very thick. I expected the ring be a “surface” find but stuck and hidden under the heavy grass. I recovered the ring about a foot off from the edge of the driveway where she was throwing the football to her son. Cierra was more than happy with plenty of smiles to go around.

Dropped cell phone in the lake…Found

Received a call from this gentleman. He had been fishing and put the cell phone in his shirt pocket. He leaned over in the boat and it fell out right beside the dock. After getting suited up and diving down it was right where he said it was. Glad to help his out. They phone came right on even after being underwater for a couple of hours right around 8ft deep.
