Wedding Ring Lost while Body Surfing Quintana Beach Freeport, Texas

I was contact by Dallas a resident of Houston, Texas who was looking for someone to help him find his lost wedding ring…

Dallas reported he and his wife (Addie) were on vacation at Quintana Beach in Freeport, Texas when Dallas had the mis-fortune of losing his wedding ring in the Gulf of Mexico.

Dallas reported while at the beach with his wife, they ventured into the water to do a little body surfing…Dallas reported after catching a few waves he realized his wedding ring was gone.

Dallas said as he was not sure at what point his ring had come off his finger, but he felt pretty confident his ring was gone forever!

Dallas said Addie was doing a little research on the internet when she came upon a post by Houston Metal Detecting Services – The Ring Finders Houston, Texas…Addie said, it was a moment of hope!

Dallas and Attie, were able to provide some very specific land marks on the beach, which where the deciding factors in pursuing this recovery effort.

Based on the location and recovery details, I knew this would need to be a two-man effort minimal…I reached out to a good friend Carl Sedita again and laid out the details.

After looking over all of the details, we knew it would be a long-shot, but we decided to give it a try for Dallas and Addie…

Lost Heirloom Cuban Gold Necklace at Aulani Resort Ko Olina…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This necklace find began while I was detecting in the water at Aulani. I was approached by a gentleman named Juan who was on vacation with his daughter from Los Angeles, California. He asked if I was the detectorist for Ko Olina resort. I said, “Yes, did you lose something?” He said when he dove into the water the day before his Gold Cuban Necklace his Father had given to him went missing. He told the beach equipment rental team and they told him to get ahold of me but he figured the metal detector wouldn’t work in the water. He went and stood in the water where he thought the necklace came off and I said I’m working into that area now just be sure to leave your contact info at the lost and found so I can reach you if I find your necklace. Juan described the necklace as very heavy 18k Gold with 1/2 inch links. I continued my hunt for about ten more minutes when close to the shore break I got a loud but broken tone. I took a scoop and nothing came up but in the ankle deep water I saw a gold glow and reached in to pick it up. Up came a very hefty necklace that was still clasped in a loop. Wow I thought, he wasn’t kidding this necklace is heavy. I put it into my secure pocket and proceeded to lost & found. I called Juan’s contact number but it was his home in California. The land lady said Juan was on vacation in Hawaii and wanted to know if there was anything she could do. I said not now but would call again if needed. I let the lost and found know I had Juan’s necklace in my possession and was trying to track him down. I arrived home and a short time later Juan returned my call and we made plans to get him back his necklace that evening. He invited me to dinner at the resort and from the pic you can see his elation after getting his necklace back. We had a great dinner and I’m sure I made a new friend in California. Aloha to Juan & his lovely daughter!

A lovely Lady named Dori was in her backyard cleaning up her gardens and yard. She felt as though a big bug had landed on her shoulder and she flicked it away. Turns out it was her hearing aid!! The hearing aid was $3,000 !!!
A number of Friends were over and all were on their hands & knees with chop sticks going throught the gardens/mulch for hours.
Her Son had suggested to call someone with a metal detector! THE RING FINDERS came up. She called Steve Zazulyk but he was unavailable and recommended to call me!
I made arrangements to attend that evening. After I arrived we had discussed what had happened! Luckily they put tarps down due to the severe thunderstorms moving in!! Dori had no idea I had spotted it!

I got a call from Andrew yesterday about a ring his father lost at the beach. For Father’s Day the family buried their dad Edgar in the sand, and when he rose up out of the sand, he began to brush the sand off of his clothes when he felt his wedding ring slide off of his finger. The ring was gone immediately. They looked and looked, but were unable to find it. I told them I would leave immediately to come and help.

I got to the spot of the loss, and Edgar showed me what had happened, so I began a grid in the most likely spot, and worked out from it. I covered the whole area finding a few coins, bottle caps and other pieces of metal, but no ring. I decided to cross grid knowing that at times a ring or coin can land on edge, and only be found going in a particular direction. I did another grid perpendicular to the previous one, and then received the signal I was looking for, scooped up the sand, shook it out, and had the ring. Edgar and the family were very happy. Not a very happy thing to lose on Father’s Day, but definitely a happy thing to find! Smiles all around!

I will work hard, using the most up to date metal detectors, to help you find what you thought might never be found again. I search, Beverly Hills, Hermosa Beach, Huntington Beach, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Malibu, Manhattan Beach, Newport Beach, Northridge, Pasadena, Rancho Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Santa Monica, Seal Beach, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Torrance, Venice Beach, and all parks, yards, gardens, and ponds (to 5 foot depths) in all of Orange County, all of Los Angeles County, and Ventura County.

lost wedding ring Ko’olina Found

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

On June 3rd I get a phone call from Joe who is out of town on vacation letting me know that there is a Mr. Muto who is searching the beach in Ko’olina for his Wife’s wedding ring. I gather the information from Joe and give Mr. Muto a call in which i reassure Mr. Muto that i will be heading out and to mark off the area in which he thinks it might be. I arrive at Ko’olina and meet up with Mr Muto which i start looking for the ring. I come across coins, rubbish,  until i hear a loud gold tone. I dig the site and inside the Xtreme scoop is a beautiful Tiffany and Co. Diamond ring. I look towards Mr. Muto and ask him what the ring looks like and He say “Tiffany” and right away I let him know of the great news… I FOUND IT! I returned it to Mr. Muto and we both leave the beach with this overwhelming joy that washed over us with relief and satisfaction.

The next day I receive a call from Mr. Mutos wife letting me know that there is another ring lost. I let her know that i will give her a call later that night and need to check. I call the Muto’s that evening and let them know I have a Cartier diamond wedding band.  They ended up driving to my house and we were able to reunite the last of the lost rings! What started out as a single ring find ended up being a double and both were recovered and returned to the rightful owner. Mahalo Joe Another Happy ending! Aloha is ALIVE!

Lost White Gold & Diamonds Wedding Band at Kaimana Beach Waikiki…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This ring find began when I got a call from Tim who was spending the day at Kaimana Beach with his lovely wife Bonnie. While coming back from a swim his White Gold & Diamonds Wedding Band fell off his finger at the shoreline. The surf was up a bit and his ring disappeared from view. A gentleman on the beach noticed his situation and googled lost ring Waikiki and that is how they tracked me from the ring finders. I loaded my car and was conveniently parked in less then 15 minutes from the call. Tim showed me the spot and in I went. First target sounded good but it was a nickel. Then some other detectorist with a Tesoro Sand Shark walked right over to where I was and started causing a lot of interference. I said to him, “Hey Bud how about a little detecting etiquette!” He gave me a n, “Oh OKAY” then moved on. The nerve! I started a walk towards shore and Bam! That was it. One scoop down and Tim’s ring was in the scoop. I walked the scoop over to Tim so he could retrieve his ring and applause erupted up on the beach when they all saw his elation. Aloha to Tim & Bonnie!

Richard called this evening. He had lost his wedding ring while at the beach with his family. He had taken the ring off and wrapped it in his shirt so it would not get lost while going in and around the water. The problem occurred when he went to get his shirt, forgetting the ring was inside. He unraveled his shirt while walking from where they had been sitting, and then realized the ring was missing. He searched but was unable to find the ring. I told him I would be happy to come and help.

When I got to the beach, Richard met me and took me to the area. He explained again what had happened, and in what direction he had been walking, so I had a good idea how I would grid the area. I worked all the area where he had been, and then began to move out. About 10 feet from where they had been sitting I got a good signal in the headphones, and scooped. As I shook out the sand, I could see the gleam of gold in the bottom; I knew I had found the ring. Richard was very happy. I was glad to have restored his joy, and know he will sleep well tonight!

Lost Wedding/Engagement Ring on Valour Ave & Hwy 28, North Edmonton Alberta

  • from Edmonton (Alberta, Canada)
Contact:

I received a call this morning from Tyler requesting my service to locate his wife’s wedding/engagement ring that was lost earlier this morning along the highway. After asking Tyler a few questions I agreed to meet up with him.  Again I questioned Tyler as to the possible location of the ring.  I was about to remove my equipment from my vehicle  when I heard Tyler  saying “that’s my Ring!” It was laying right next to my back wheel. Another few centimeters and I would have driven over it.  I couldn’t believe it! I told Tyler that it was his lucky day and to go buy himself a Lottery Ticket.

Thank you Tyler for entrusting me to help you locate you wife’s ring.

LOST 10K GOLD EAGLE RING PICKING APPLES FOUND AFTER 15 YEARS Brampton, ON

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

Brampton, Ontario, Canada

I was contacted by a fellow member Bill H of the Brampton Historical Society after my “show & tell” presentation of found rings while detecting the beaches and waters of Wasaga Beach, Ontario.

He asked if I could come out to his former ‘pick-your-own” apple farm to see if I could find it. It had been over 10 years lost as per the Farmer. I headed over after work. I brought two detectors so he could try metal detecting. He started me in the first row of apple trees where he felt it was missing.

Within 3 MINUTES…. BINGO-BANGO…my brand new Minelab Equinox800 had found a beautiful 10k eagle ring. The Farmer Bill has confirmed that was it and was absolutely shocked in disbelief that I had located this ring in 3 minutes!

Here is the VIDEO LINK;

I continued on detecting with his permission as he went in for supper. The next tree I found a massive key chain full of keys. The next tree again….ANOTHER RING. It looks like an Engineering ring possibly titanium. The Farmer has information for both the keys and a silver ring. I am now on a mission to hopefully reunite these items with their rightful owners!!

3 days later I met the Eagle Rings owner Mr & Mrs Muir in Brampton. He was just over-the-moon and stated it was more like over 20 years he had lost his ring.

Hat’s off the Farmer Bob and his wife Jane for keeping this information of the lost items. I am so lucky, as I am invited back as Jane lost an item in a garden. Looking forward to returning to the property!!
