Lost Mens Platinum Wedding Band On The Beach In Lewes, Delaware Found

On 06/16/2021, I was contacted by Joe in regards to his Platinum Wedding Band that he had lost on the beach at Cape Shores Development in Lewes, Delaware. Joe request my help in finding his lost ring. Upon contacting Joe at the beach he showed me two areas that he had been sitting when the ring was lost. I began a grid search of the first area and I was unable to locate the ring. Joe had chairs and an umbrella on the sand in the second area that I was to search so I requested that he move the items so that I could begin my search. While the chairs and umbrella were being moved I walked over to a corner of the area where I had decided that I would begin my search. Joe was still moving the items out of my way so I laid the coil of my detector on the sand at which time I heard a tone in my headset. I scooped up the sand from where I received the tone and low and behold there was Joes lost ring. I called out to Joe and told him that he did not need to remove anymore of his beach items because his ring had been found. The ring was then returned to its rightful owner.

Lost Silver Cross Pendant On Bethany Beach In 2020 Found

On 08/04/2020, I was contacted by Renee in regards to a silver cross pendant that had been lost on the beach in Bethany Beach, Delaware. Renee stated that the silver cross pendant had been lost by her daughter and that the silver cross pendant was “Very Special” because her younger daughter had received it from her older sister who was deceased. Upon arriving at the beach Renee and her daughter showed me the area that the silver cross pendant had been lost and the area was marked by sections of wood. I stared a grid search of the area inside the sections of wood and was able to recover the lost pendant with only a few swings of my detector. The pendant was then returned to its rightful and very grateful owner.

Lost Mens Platinum Wedding Band On Rehoboth Beach In 2020 Found

On 08/03/2020, I was contacted by Brian in regards to his Platinum Wedding Band that he lost on the beach in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Brian requested my help in trying to find his lost ring. I arrived at Rehoboth Beach, made contact with Brian and he felt that he had lost his wedding band in the sand in an area where he and his wife had been sitting in their beach chairs. I did a grid search of the area where they had been sitting and was unable to locate the lost ring. I then had Brian show me the direction that he and his wife had walked to the beach access/exit path in order to exit the beach. I then began a grid search of that area and was able to recover his lost wedding band in the sand in front of the beach access/exit.

White Gold Wedding Set Lost/Found At Rehoboth Beach, Delaware

On 07/18/2020, I received a phone call from Rebecca requesting my help in finding her lost wedding rings in the sand on the beach in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Rebecca had been on the beach with her family when she took her wedding rings off of her finger in order to put sunscreen on her son. Rebecca placed her rings on their blanket right in front of her chair and she forgot to put them back on her finger. Rebecca stated that she did not notice that her rings were missing until they had left the beach so she went back to the beach to look for them and was unable to find them. Rebecca stated that a lady that was on the beach overheard that she had lost her rings and that same lady provided Rebecca with my telephone number. I met Rebecca at the beach and she showed me the area where she had been sitting when she took her rings off. I began a grid search of the area and during the first pass I recovered a quarter. I turned and began my second pass and as I got to the end of it I was able locate the two lost rings hiding in the soft sand. I handed Rebecca her recovered rings at which time she began to cry, she stated that she really did not think that I would be able to find her rings and then when I did she became emotional. Rebecca and I were starting to walk towards the dunes in order to take some pictures, I was greeted by a lady by the name of Donna and her husband. Donna had been the one who had given my telephone number to Rebecca, I had recovered a lost Gold/Diamond ring for Donna and her husband on Rehoboth Beach on 07/16/2018 and they had kept my information. I thanked them for the referral.

Lost Yellow Gold Mans Wedding Band Lost/Found At Dewey Beach Delaware

On 09/22/19 I received a text from Patrick regarding the loss of his gold wedding band on the beach in Dewey Beach, Delaware. Patrick had taken his ring off his finger, placed it inside of his baseball cap and set the baseball cap down on the beach with the rest of the items that he had brought to the beach. Patrick had placed his wedding band in the baseball cap for safe keeping while he went swimming. Patrick then forgot that he put his ring in the baseball and upon placing the baseball cap on his head a while later the ring fell out of the cap into the soft sand disappearing out of sight. I agreed to meet Patrick at the location of the lost ring so that I could search for it. Upon my arrival Patrick pointed out the area where he believed that the ring had fallen into the sand. I got right to work and began doing a grid search and on my first pass I located the lost wedding band and presented it back to Patrick.

Lost Platinum Engagement Ring Found On The Beach At Bethany Beach, Delaware

On 08/23/19, I received a email from Nicole regarding the loss of her Platinum engagement ring on the beach in Bethany Beach, Delaware on 08/20/19. Nicole said that she had placed her ring in her lap while applying sun block and that she stood up and walked towards the ocean to see some dolphins that had been seen out in the ocean. Nicole said that she stood there for about twenty minutes before she realized that her ring was missing. After realizing that her ring was missing, Nicole along with family and friends began to search the sand looking for her ring. Some family members also downloaded a metal detector app to their cellphones in an attempt to find the ring. All of the searching on the day of the loss and also on the day after met with negative results and Nicole left Bethany Beach without her engagement ring. After receiving the email I was able to talk with Nicole on the phone and we went over the the how and where of the loss of her ring. Nicole told me that she remembered that she was sitting in line with a trash can that was on the beach to the north of the beach access. Nicole was concerned about the fact that it had been three days since she had lost her ring and she ask if I thought that the ring was still there on the beach. I told Nicole that it was possible that the ring had been found by someone else with a metal detector, Nicole told me that she still wanted me to look for the ring. I told Nicole that I would not be able to do the search until the following evening and she still wanted me to look for her ring. On 08/24/19, I went to the beach off Central Avenue in Bethany Beach and began the search for Nicoles ring. I started a grid search of the area and after ten minutes and three passes I was able to locate and recover Nicoles ring only a few inches down in the soft sand. I called Nicole and gave her the good news, she was very relieved that her ring had been recovered because she would be getting married during the month of October 2019. On 08/25/19, I met Nicole and her father in Bethany Beach to return her ring to her after the drove to Delaware from their home in the state of Virginia. Congratulations Nicole on your upcoming wedding and thank you for trusting me with the recovery and return of your ring!

Good Morning,
I lost my engagement ring Tuesday afternoon at Bethany beach in front of central boulevard. I was putting sunblock on and felt the lotion in between my ring so I slid it off and placed it on my lap while I smoothed out the lotion on my hands and I got distracted when I heard a little girl say there were dolphins and looked out to see my niece and sister pointing at something in the water so I immediately stood up and walked over to the ocean I must have been standing there for 20 minutes before I realized I didn’t have my ring on my hand. I ran back and searched everywhere I was sitting in the sand and couldn’t find it. After not being able to find it on my own I went back and told my family what happened and we all rushed back and searched everywhere in the near area we could but that minute a storm was coming in and the lifeguards evacuated everyone off the beach so we barely had time to look for it. We tried going back the next day and searching about the area we were but we couldn’t find it and weren’t sure as to the exact area at that point. I live 3 hours away and reported it to the beach patrol and police. My cousin found this website online just recently and I know it’s been 3 days so I’m emailing to see if you think there’s any chance at all it could still be there to go look. I was told people with metal detectors walk around early every morning so I really have lost all hope at this point. I’m also no longer in town but would drive back if there was a chance it was still there

Lost White Gold Wedding Band Found At Gordons Pond State Park Beach in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware

On 08/22/19, I received a call from Tory asking for my help in finding her white gold wedding band that had been lost in the sand at Gordons Pond State Park Beach in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Tory said that she had taken her wedding band and engagement ring off her finger and placed them in the pocket of her husbands shirt for safe keeping. Tory said that the shirt was placed on her husbands backpack that was laying on top of the sand and that their 18 month old daughter grabbed the shirt and ran with it. Tory said that both of the rings fell out of the shirt pocket into the sand and that her husband was able to recover her engagement ring and that they were unable to locate the wedding band. After talking with Tory, I drove to the beach to meet her and to start the search for her ring. After being shown the area of the sand where the engagement ring was found I began a grid search and was unable to find the wedding band. Torys husband pointed out a hole in the sand that he and his daughter had dug and he felt that the ring may be in the hole because their daughter had carried his shirt that contained the rings over to the hole. I checked the hole with my metal detector and found that the ring was not in the hole so I then asked Tory and her husband to move all of their beach items from the area where they had been sitting so that I could search the area without interference from the metal beach chairs and the metal shaft of the umbrella. After the items were removed I continued with the search and was able to locate the lost ring just in front of where a beach chair had been sitting and only a few feet from the hole that I had previously searched. The lost ring was then returned to a grateful Tory.

Lost/Recovered Platinum Wedding Set At Cape Henlopen State Park In Lewes, Delaware

On 06/29/19 at 11:58 am, I received an email from Carmel regarding the loss of her two Platinum Wedding Rings and a request for help in finding them. Carmel said that upon arriving at the beach she had removed the rings from her hand and placed them in her bag that was sitting on top of the sand. Carmel said that she had a “bad” feeling about putting the rings in the bag, but she did so anyway. Carmel said that one of her children had gone into her bag for something and that her rings must have fallen out of the bag into the sand because she had been unable to find the rings in her bag when she went to look for them. Carmel said that they searched the sand for the two rings and that they were unable to find them. Carmel said that she had planned on staying at the beach for a couple more hours so I asked her to secure the area where the rings had been lost and that I would come to the beach to search for the rings after I was able to get free from something that I was working on. I arrived at the beach about two hours later, made contact with Carmel and began the search for the lost rings. After three swings of the detector I located the engagement ring and then started the search for the wedding band which was promptly found several inches away from where the engagement ring was recovered. The rings belonging to Carmel were back on her finger where they belonged.

Lost Gold Wedding Ring Set On The Beach In Ocean City Maryland/Found

I received a phone call from Diane asking for my help in finding her lost rings on the beach in Ocean City, Maryland between 143rd and 144th streets. Diane told me that she and her family had been vacationing in Ocean City, Maryland and that while they were on the beach on 08/10/18 she had lost her two wedding rings. Diane said that she had sat down in a beach chair at edge of the water where the waves were breaking and that she fell asleep. Diane said that when she woke up her left hand was laying on the wet sand and that her two wedding rings were missing from her left hand. On 08/14/18, I went to the beach where Diane had lost her rings and began a search for them. Diane had also mentioned that she had been sitting in an area of dry sand prior to going down to the water and she was really unsure of where she had lost the two rings. I did search an area of dry sand based on Diane’s memory of where she had been on the beach that day and the two rings were no where to be found. I then decided to search an area closer to the waters edge and after several passes I was able to recover the lost wedding band. I then knew that the engagement ring should be somewhere close to where the wedding band had been found. I then adjusted my search to an area about a foot away from where I found the band and a little closer to the water. The search adjustment was a success and I was able to locate the engagement ring. After returning home I sent Diane a text with a photo of her two rings and they were identified as being her lost rings. Diane requested that I keep her rings until 08/22/18 and on that date I turned the recovered rings over to Diane’s daughter who had driven to Bethany Beach, Delaware for a day of fun in the sun.

Lost Mans White Gold Wedding Band In Ocean City Maryland Found

On 08/11/18, I received a call from Jeff requesting my help in finding his lost White Gold Wedding Band on the beach at 98th street in Ocean City, Maryland. Jeff said that he and his family were at the beach when he took his wedding band off and gave it to his wife before going swimming. Jeff’s wife put his ring in the cup holder of her chair. Jeff said that when they got ready to leave the beach they forgot that the ring was in the cup holder, they folded up the chair and left the beach. Jeff said that they realized that his ring was gone only after they had left the beach. Jeff said that he believed that his ring had either fallen out of the cup holder when they folded up the chair or that at some point it had fallen through the bottom of the cup holder because it had a hole in it that they did not know about. Jeff said that he and his family had gone back home and that he was no longer on vacation in Ocean City. Jeff provided a good description of the area at the 98th street beach where he felt that his ring was lost in the sand. I told Jeff that I would search for his ring but that it would be few hours later because I was not currently at home. I responded to the beach later on Saturday evening and began a search for the ring. I spent several hours looking in the area for the ring with no luck. I even had a visitor tell that I was in the right area because he had seen people with flashlights looking for something in the same spot on Friday evening. After an extensive search of the area and not finding the ring I placed a call to Jeff to see if he could offer any new information. Upon talking with Jeff, he directed me to an area that was only a few feet north of my original search area. On my third sweep of the new search area I heard a solid tone in my headset and upon digging into the sand I located the lost ring. I called Jeff back and gave him the good news, Jeff asked me to mail his ring back to him which I did and Jeff was nice enough to send me a picture of him holding his recovered lost ring.
