I received a call from Kyrylo while I was at hockey game asking if I would be able to help him locate the wedding ring.  That flew off his hand while on roof in Moosomin, the ring fell from his hand rolling of the roof into tall grass. After some searching for a while and several false signals account of the area was trashy and tin siding on the building caused some interference. The ring was found; he was very excited that I found the ring

Found tungsten men’s wedding band.

We were called out to an Air BB to help a couple find their lost wedding band.  The husband was playing volleyball and lost it in the sand.  We found it in 30  minutes.  We mailed it back to them and they were extremely happy.

Found lost 18K wedding band.

We were called out for a customer who had lost his wedding band at his work site. It was metal filled area with a lot of large equipment. He thought he lost it as he was changing a tire, but it was found closer to where he had parked in a field.

Wedding band found in Devon, PA dog park

While walking home from playing with his dogs in a dog park, Quentin realized his wedding band was missing. After searching for the ring on his own, he began doing some web searches for someone who looks for rings. He found my profile on The Ringfinders and contacted me just two hours after losing the ring. I was able to arrive the next morning and began searching in the dog park which was covered in leaves and pine needles. After approx. 25min I found his ring under some pine needles. Quentin was over come with joy and immediately gave me a hug and called his wife with the good news. Custom Lost Ring Found in Winfield, Illinois

Custom Ring Found in Winfield, Illinois, after 1-1/2 years

Received a call telling me her daughter lost her custom ring a year and half ago.

Ring was made by her Grandmother for her 3 granddaughters and this was one of them, so

it had plenty of sentimental value.

Husband and Brother got detectors. and searched area with no success.

After a hour and a half I got lucky, the pictures say it all

Any wonder why I love this job!!

Received a call saying she lost her gold wedding ring along the driveway.

Turned out to be a quick pretty uneventful search.

Took about 10 minutes. Lovely couple and plenty of Hugs all around!!

Lost Diamond Ring Found At Apartment Complex

Yesterday I received a referral from Jes Muse, Ringfinder in San Francisco for a lost ring in Sunnyvale.  Rohit, who had lost the ring the night before, contacted me shortly after looking for some support in finding his fiance’s lost ring at their apartment complex.  He described a small area of grass and landscaped shrubbery where the ring was likely located.

When I arrived today, Rohit explained that they had lost the ring while playing a game right outside their apartment.  He described a situation of the ring being accidentally thrown and then hearing it bounce off of a wall.  However he and his fiance had looked for the ring for hours prior to my arrival.  Given the beautifully manicured lawns and landscaping of the apartments, I knew the ring would be easy to find with a metal detector if it was there, and I started my search right where Rohit said he thought the ring would be.

Sure enough, within about 10 minutes of searching, I detected a surface target right in the perfect “ring” range, and when I bent down to inspect it I saw a hint of gold peeking out from the blades of grass.

Rohit and his fiance were very excited that I found the ring as she has a flight back to her work scheduled this evening.  I’m glad they had the good reasoning to call in a metal detector to assist.

Gold Wedding Ring found in Long Beach Backyard

Paul was doing some gardening in his Long Beach backyard when his ring vanished into a large bush.

When I arrived he showed the rather large bush so I used my detector to sweep the periphery of the bush and didn’t get any signals, so I used my pin-pointer to get inside and underneath but still there was no signal.

I decided to check the succulents in the front border area and that is where I found Paul’s ring.

Wedding ring lost in car, Lavallette NJ, recovered by Edward Trapper, NJ Ring Finder

Christine called one evening around dinner with a little different kind of request. Her husband, Kevin, had lost his wedding ring in their car four months earlier. They had searched countless times without success, even pulling up sections of the carpet, thinking the ring might have slipped through one of the small openings. They had also asked a dealer to take a look during a service visit, but still no luck. Although the dealer suggested removing the seats, the cost was too high, so they decided against it.

Christine had been following NJ Ring Finder success stories and knew about the wide variety of items I had recovered. I assured her that I had an endoscope, which could reach into small spaces, and I was happy to take a look since it was a fairly common request. We arranged to meet, and when they arrived, I got to work.

After a short search, I began to wonder if the ring was still in the car. Kevin was absolutely certain it had bounced off the center console and fallen beside the seat, but sometimes memories can blur, especially after four months. Still, Kevin’s confidence reassured me, so I gathered more tools to remove the front seat. There was one spot where I thought I had spotted the ring with my endoscope but couldn’t reach it with the seat in place.

With the seat unbolted, Kevin helped me tip it on its side to avoid disconnecting the wires. Sure enough, tucked in the far corner of the seat’s sliding mechanism, there was Kevin’s ring, just as he had described. Using a small grabber tool, I carefully retrieved it, much to Christine and Kevin’s surprise. After four long months, the ring was finally found.

NJ Ring Finder, Edward Trapper was able to find/recover a lost item, after 4 long months, where no others were able to complete the task at hand.

Wedding Ring Recovered in Raleigh

I got text from Steven, a nice gentleman who lives only about two miles from my house. He and his wife had been moving firewood from the front of their house (where the logs had been dumped) to a shed area in the back yard and sometime during this activity, she lost her wedding ring. We made arrangements to meet at their house so I could find her ring. They showed me the area where the firewood had been and where it was stacked now. Seemed simple enough to search just that area, since that was the area where they’d been working.

While I was searching, Steven and I had been chatting about our common interest – history. After maybe 45 minutes with no luck, Steven invited me to see his workshop. Turns out that Steven collects antique tools and wanted to show me. While we were there, I had a thought and asked if he or his wife had checked the gloves she was wearing. He said they both had checked, but I asked if checking one more time would be ok. He agreed and with my handheld detector, found that the ring was still in the finger slot of one of the gloves. We were all surprised, but it’s always a good feeling to recover something that means a great deal to someone. Another happy ending!
