Gold Ring Found Va Beach

  • from Virginia Beach (Virginia, United States)

I was messaged by Caroline about a lost ring in Va Beach. Her friend found me from my channel on youtube (Gigmaster). She actually sent me pictures where if was lost and a general location. On day one I searched but did not have any luck and the stinging nettles were coming after me! On day 2 Caroline was going to meet me but was delayed so I ventured back out in the water and found it before she arrived. I was able to surprise here with the find.

Va Beach Gold Ring Found

  • from Virginia Beach (Virginia, United States)

Many times people come up to me on the beach to say they lost an item. This case is no different. This man lost his ring while moving from one site to another. Unfortunately it was not where he thought. A quick grid of the area produced the ring!

Prescription Glasses Found Va Beach

  • from Virginia Beach (Virginia, United States)

We may not always get a call and we don’t limit our search to rings. On this occasion I found a pair of prescription glasses and started asking people in the area if anyone lost their glasses. I found a guy that said his dad had lost his not long ago. They were his! He was very grateful and was wondering how he was going to drive back home without his glasses!

Beautiful 1 carat diamond ring returned!

  • from Virginia Beach (Virginia, United States)

This beach was private and I asked to owner to check on getting me permission to detect. She was able to obtain permission and off we went. This was in some pretty soft sand and it had been a couple days. After searching for an hour I was about to give up and as I was coming out of the deeper water I got a very scratchy light hit but it was in the proper range for the ring. It was basically my LAST target and BAM! I was very happy to be able to return this beautiful 1 carat diamond ring!

Grid and Search!

  • from Virginia Beach (Virginia, United States)

When I get a call about a lost ring I have the owner mark the closest spot to where they think it was lost and then I draw a box around the area and start griding it off. In this case it only took about 5 minutes! Another smile to add to the book!

Gold and Diamond Bracelet Returned!

  • from Virginia Beach (Virginia, United States)

I got a call from another metal detectorist that had searched for 4 hours trying to find a lost gold and diamond bracelet. I went out and got in the water and immediately got a hit. I dove down with my weight belt and pinpointer so I could hold the bottom and on my last bit of air I had it in my hand!

Watch Returned!

  • from Virginia Beach (Virginia, United States)

I dug this watch out of the surfline and it did not come on. (operator error) When I got home I tried again and it came on and I was able to see a text that was made just seconds before the battery went dead. I texted the number and they knew who the watch belonged to. The rest is history!

Recover 5/1/2021 – I got a call about a lost diamond ring and after getting all the info I proceeded to the address. It ha actually been lost for 3 weeks which sometimes can be of concern. (someone found it, thrown by lawnmower, etc). Making matters worse it had the potential to be in some really tall prickly vines and grass. After 2 hours of searching I found it. So happy to see the ring back on this girls hand!

This was a hard one!

Recovery 4/5/2021 – I was approached at the beach about a lost earring back. These are super hard to find because they do not give off much of a signal. This one did take a little time but it was all worth it in the end. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T83wTTJt-sQ
