Lost Ring in Virginia Beach Found

  • from Virginia Beach (Virginia, United States)

Targets on the beach were far and few between but I got a good signal at the water line. As i was digging I noticed a guy in a chair behind me watching. When I brought the ring up he yelled “That’s my ring”. Of course we have all heard that story but he said he lost it yesterday and actually showed me a picture of it on his hand. His wife showed up and I showed it to her before he talked to her and she yelled that looks like your ring! Long story short he got his ring back. Gigmaster on Youtube

Ocean City Md Lost and Found

  • from Virginia Beach (Virginia, United States)

I found this on the beach buried about 6 inches down. I did not know what it was at the time but after I got home I discovered it was a $7,000 Medtronic Insulin pump! I called the company and for medical reasons they could not give me the owners name but asked if they could give the owner mine. I said sure since my goal was to return it to the owner. I got a call from the owner and was able to mail it to them. Another successful return. Gigmaster on Youtube

Grandfather’s lost ring found

  • from Virginia Beach (Virginia, United States)

This was one of my toughest recoveries. I was approached on the beach about a lost ring. It was lost in deeper water and the tide was rising with big waves. I knew the only chance was to take a beating in the waves before it was lost forever. After loosing my hat, headphones a few times and a few other items the ring was recovered and given to a very happy man. Gis deceased grandfather may have had a hand in guiding me to this recovery.  I got a call about a lost platinum ring with a large diamond. It was lost at night close to high tide in the water. I knew low tide was coming up and it would probably be dry in that area when I arrived. My friend Gene was already down there and he helped me search for the ring. After 2 hours I got a hit in the range I thought it would be. BAM! The video will be on Gigmaster on youtube!

Rob was sitting near the ocean and lost his wedding ring. The couple searched frantically trying to find it. They even went to Walmart and Best Buy trying to find a metal detector. They ended up ordering one through Amazon. His wife Lauren started searching the internet for help and came across Theringfinders.com! I got a text and I immediately called them and got more info on where the ring was lost and headed down. After 2 grid searches I found it and asked them to come down and surprised them with the return. Check out Gigmaster on Youtube!

Lost Cell Phone Found and Returned

  • from Virginia Beach (Virginia, United States)

We get a joy out of returning lost items. Sometimes we just find lost items on the beach and hunt the owners down. This was the case with this cell phone. When I found it it was dead but after charging it opened up and was not locked. I was able to retrieve the number and call and I shipped it back to the owner. Another win!

Sentimental Gold Ring Recovered

  • from Virginia Beach (Virginia, United States)

Got a text through the ring finder website about a lost gold band. The couple was on vacation from Ohio and were out in the water yesterday and lost it. After I arrived I was told it was her deceased mother’s gold wedding band which is irreplaceable! I had to find it. The water was very rough and the waves were not being friendly. After recovering a moving can I got a good signal and it was in the right number range. It took about 8 minutes on that one target but persistence paid off! Her mother is smiling tonight too!

Massive Gold Necklace Recovered!

  • from Virginia Beach (Virginia, United States)

Got a call from a fellow Ring Finder that could not respond to this lost necklace request and I contacted the owner and set up a meeting. The owner (Rodney) decided to do a flip at the beach in 4 foot of water! The necklace was lost. Sometimes chains can be difficult to find but not one this BIG! After about 15 minutes I knew I had a good hit. I showed it to Rodney in the Xtreme scoop and he was ecstatic! I found out that the medallion and necklace was given to him by his friend the basketball star Allen Iverson and it was appraised 14 years ago for over $13,000! My most expensive gold find! Over 107 grams of white gold with over 4 carats of diamonds! Video will be on Gigmaster on youtube in about a week.

Gold Ring Found Va Beach

  • from Virginia Beach (Virginia, United States)

I received a message from Stephanie about a lost gold wedding band with diamonds. I contacted her  and she told me the approximate location of where she lost it. It makes it a little more difficult when you are not able to meet the person and get a little better location. On my first attempt I was not able to locate it mainly due to the amount of people on top of the spot. I decided to hunt the beach and check later. It worked! When I returned the area was clear of people and I was able to grid the entire area off. It ended up being in a different spot that I first grid off. I was able to meet her and surprise her with the find. Gigmaster on youtube!
