I received a text from Satya who was vacationing in San Diego but from Atlanta Georgia the day before when all of a sudden,,his Gold wedding ring fell off his hand disappearing into the Ocean at knee deep water! Uh oh!

Mother Nature can be a beast,Keep in mind that Gold weighs 19.3% more than water and will sink ⬇️ fast! The sooner we are called,The better the chance is of recovering it!

So I arranged for the best time to search which is at low tide later that day then we hiked down the steep staircase along the retreating cliff.

After many ring detective questions down the mountain to better help this search, I did feel confident in retrieving this lost ring cause he knew the general area where the ring flew off at. He also had used GPS to mark the spot plus took random scenic photos throughout that day.

I began scanning the first possible area when Satya later walked up saying he’s almost positive it was lost much further south near the trail head. So I began another methodical grid search pattern this time from north to south around 50’ swinging when after finding only just 1 nickel,I get a another similar (Beep) on my Garrett Metal Detector with indications of a nickel or possibly a Gold ring?? So I took 3 scoops which was roughly 12-14” down then magically his Gold wedding band appeared in my hand. What a relief it is when I get called to help with success.

Warning ⚠️ Renting or buying a metal detector can be risky. The sand in California is heavily mineralized & loaded with magnetite,Felspar,Iron Quartz and Hot rocks. It takes over 1,000 hours roughly to fully learn the functionality of most detector machines.

I received a call from Jaycee who asked about the service I can provide to help find his wife’s diamond rings lost in the sand on Camp Pendleton. We arranged the best time to meet early at O700 when this particular beach is hardly crowded and occupied this time of day.
Not to mention but this is a bottle cap haven spot with Late night celebrating.

Upon arriving to the scene of the lost rings Jaycee showed me 1 of many private beach area booths & couches, tables, Chairs under a canopy with metal poles staked at 4 corners. We both first moved the couch and chairs as I then began my search. After a few bottle caps with nothing in the center of it I get multiple signals just next to the metal pole legs for the canopy..?
Funny cause the other pole didn’t give me those readings or tones. So I used my foot and kicked 3 piles of sand away from that pole.I saw nothing but heard a couple signals in the gold range on my Metal Detector,Then I scooped it up when sure enough it was only 1 of the rings I was called for. He was shocked how fast I found the first ring SO (BOOM) I scooped up the other ring too,Why NOT? !

This was an amazing story as I was able to help out Not just another marine or civilian cause Jaycee told me afterwards that his specialty is using metal detectors to find Bombs/IED’S 💣 ! And those type of detectors primarily pick up Wire/Explosives etc. This search was definitely rewarding to help out a fellow service member. What a way to honor those who protect our Great country 🇺🇸

It was a another sunny day in San Diego when I received a call asking for help from a lady in Mission beach who had lost her wedding rings. She said they had sifted through the sand and managed to find the band but not the main diamond ring.
I was just getting home from another lost ring search but immediately made a U-Turn and said I was on my way.

Upon arriving to the scene of the lost rings
I was shown a small 10X10 foot area where it disappeared into the sand.X-Marks the spot.I told her this wouldn’t take very long to find,Then could see the worries from her facial expression disappearing as well. I also had to park in a 15min loading Zone so a speedy recovery was Keene. I began a search with my state of the art Metal Detector and found the precious ring in just 1 beep..or a minute!

I surprised her with it in my sand scoop shovel while the tears with hugs electrified all around. These are the best kinda rewards when you feel like a hero or at least did a professional deed to help someone in need.

I received a text message from a gentleman who had lost his ring in the surf 2 days prior and asked for my help.He also posted on Craigslist in the lost and found add about the ring with a detailed location which is a big concern.I checked the tide book for the best time to search for it.The lowest tide was around midnight. So I set my alarm and slept a few hours before hand with one eye open.

As I showed up to the scene of the lost ring I was surprised not to see other metal detector guys scouring the exact area to maybe help? Or maybe to score some gold for their collection? As I began searching I could see 2 headlamps nearly a 1/4 mile down the beach going in & out of the water. Hmmm..I thought?  Ironically enough it was 2 Metal Detector Guys. I’m not sure what they were searching for or if they had any luck with Gold in da scoop though?

After 30min of scanning using only the moonlight to see I came across a special signal that was a non-ferrous metal about 6-8inches deep. I dug it up and there was his precious wedding ring in my hand.

The next morning I sent a picture of the ring to the owner who confirmed it was his and then drove to the post office to mail it back east as he was just returning home from their vacation in San Diego.
Another successful hunt with a happy ending.

Carlsbad Metal Detector finds lost ring in the sand

Theringfinders metal detector service helped find and return a lost diamond ring in the sand.OPEN NOW 24/7 Call 760 889 2751

I received a call from John Hughes to help find a men’s ring at Carlsbad beach. He had already scanned over the 12X12 area multiple times with 2 different metal detectors but was not able to find it due to this type of ring being what’s known as a “Broken signal.” It is a chain linked style ring which can act as a non-conductive metal that disables most type of detectors from picking up the signal.
Fortunately I recently invested in a new high frequency machine that will pick up broken signals such as Gold Chains, gold earrings with an open loop etc.

When I arrived to the scene of the lost ring I met Johnny who had preserved an area in dry sand with beach chairs. I asked a few detective questions mostly about the style of this chain linked ring, then began my search.

After 5-10 minutes with a few small pieces of trash I got a steady low tone on my machine while shaking my sand scoop I had  unearthed Johnny’s hefty Gold diamond ring.He was stoked and relieved to have this precious metal back on his finger. What a great feeling it was especially as the local beach goers were clapping & cheering after it was Returned !

Thank you Johnny for the gratuity and John Hughes for calling me to help others.

I received a call from John Hughes a fellow member of Theringfinders asking if I could do a search for a lost Platinum ring in the surf. I was already scheduled to hunt at 3:00am for another lost ring close to this location so that was no problem.

Upon arriving to the scene of the first lost ring for the 3rd time it was evident that the beach has naturally pushed in sand burying it even deeper. I swung the whole area & did not dig 1 target. So on to the next Beach I went…

By 4:45 am during low tide I was at Cardiff beach swinging my Metal Detector in the location given by the owner of the ring via google maps.I had already been bit several times by mosquitoes in merely minutes and also to make this search seem inevitabley painful is that this Ring was lost 3 days prior in 5’-8’ surf! I guess you could say it’s a shot in the dark but after the 15th mosquito bite I heard a signal that made my ears ring..I took 1 scoop in the wet sand while begging the sea gods & king neptune for this to be Johns platinum ring…((Boom)) good Karma had prevailed!

Me,John Hughes and his daughter met the owner of this special ring also named John, later in the day.He was so relieved and very greatful to have this sentimental item back on his finger where it had been for over 20 years of marriage! Irreplaceable a ring can be.

This search did require luck,Knowledge,Good Karma but I must thank the Gods of the sea for their help in this recovery.

Metal Detector finds lost engagement ring Carlsbad Ca

On July 16th. I woke up from a text regarding a Lost ring at Carlsbad beach with the location and immediately was on my way. When I arrived at 6:20am I previously had texted Hannah back asking if she could meet me there to finer tune in the area this ring could of disappeared into the dry fluffy sand. I spent some time searching the approximate location until she called then came down the stair case minutes later.I asked her some questions to better help recovering the lost ring when Hannah told me she doesn’t know what the ring looks like or the exact area because it was lost just before the proposal! ….Uh Oh!

This scenario has actually happened numerous times to so many people believe it or not. I did search the heck out of the small 20’ X 40’ Zone crossing my grid pattern 2 times with no avail. Fortunately the Groom to be,Scott also arrived later so I asked him a few more Q’s & concerns when he eventually did say he felt the ring drop into the sand!
This helped me circumvent this situation much better especially after it was lost at night. It’s difficult to remember landmarks or the precise spot in the dark for us all which meant I needed to expand the area thoroughly.
So I expanded my search further south then further North beyond the embrasured area when I suddenly got a Signal and noticed what appears to be just another pull tab buried. So I dug it up anyways while Seeing the glimmer of a Gold Diamond ring that would make anyone smile:) 💍
Scott was relieved but in distraught about the hole ordeal although he must know how he’s very lucky to have met a beautiful gal in his life to Marry and call it quits forever and ever… This is one “Bucket list” thing I have never found after metal detecting for 12 years while saving marriages for over 5 years. I sure have come across plenty of Nightmares but no dream has ever come true for me.!

Best wishes to Hannah & Scott from Ohio.

The Ring Finders Metal Detector Service helped find a Lost wedding ring set in the sand at Mission beach. OPEN NOW! Call Curtis Cox 760 889 2751

Today,I received a call from Rosalyn who lost her wedding rings in the sand 2 days prior while vacationing from Georgia at Mission beach San Diego. After some questions & concerns we both had,I explained to her that there is a chance I could help though I do not have a charge for my service.Often times I do get rewards which is entirely up to you and what you can afford but timing is Keene.

We set up a time later with the place to meet that day.As soon as I met Rosalyn at this very secluded beach in mission bay,I felt it was going to be successful search because it’s rare for Local Metal Detector treasure seekers at a spot like this,Cause was they usually comb the main beaches for lost valuables but also the sand was fortunately fluffy which can preserve rings or lost metals for a short while.

Upon arriving to the scene of the lost rings,Rosalyn showed me a rough 10X15’ area she was sitting in a beach chair near fire pits where these precious metals were last seen.

So I began my search, digging bottle caps left/right,Nearly every step or sweep was a target,Melted aluminum pieces,Pennies,Soda can pull tabs,Corona caps and then a quarter I realized..No hobbyists Detector has been here recently.I safely told her that this is a good sign!.. Yet I had already searched the main area she described so I continued my protocol grid search pattern swinging a little out of the box closer to the fire pit digging a lot of trash is when I looked into the scoop for the 20-30th time and saw a Gold circle & Stunned,,I asked what kind of ring was lost ??? She said Yellow gold! That’s when I showed the first ring while electrifying smiles light up all around :):) There where also some young campers hanging out for party time that night just feet away who saw me dig up the first ring in a shell shock look Saying “Wow” ”Cool.”
I then swung my Metal Detector over the same hole getting a similar signal on my machine so I reached down with out a handheld Pinpointer & magically had the Main diamond ring in the hand with just 1 hand or palm scoop out of the sand requiring experience.

Rosalyn was very elated and appreciative that  these rings were back on the finger, Especially the day before she was headed back home After nearly 3 days of them being gone.Good karma has prevailed again in this search and I’m glad to of soaked in quite a bit of it.

What you may think is gone for ever could be easily reunited with you again. Don’t hesitate to call any member of TheRingFinders.Com

We are here to help.
