Oceanside Metal Detector Lost Ring

  • from Carlsbad (California, United States)

Theringfinders Metal Detecting Service in Oceanside Ca has helped Find and return a Diamond Ring.

July 17th I recieved a call 11:30 at night from a Gentleman named Anthony. He tells me his wife had lost her Diamond wedding Ring in the surf. I immediately got ready and was there in less than 20 min. I met him at the location and asked many questions for clues that may lead this Water search to a Fast and Precised Recovery for this Precious ring. Anthony explained to me he was not there on the beach when she lost it but thought for sure way out in the Surf.I then spent over 2hrs swinging,Dragging my scoop griding while overlapping my detector coil with no luck.

The next morning at 1:00am I arrived to search again for 2hrs and was able to rule out where this ring is Not.Confident in my equipment I know that This type of Gold ring I can pick up 2′ down in wet sand.I had already cross grided this large area and Dug all targets that were faint/break in the threshold. After these Minus tides searching twice while fighting the Ocean/Waves and Not to mention our Self defense awareness of it being 2:00am Alone knee to waist deep, pitch black with the homeless and rift raft type of people sleeping nearby Believe me,it ain’t easy ⚒

So I asked a Good friend also a local from Theringfinders to help hunt during the day time low tide on the upper bank/slope where I had not scanned over, just incase she wasn’t out that far or near the deep trough hole at the bottom of the beaches natural incline. John hughes was able meet the wife there during daylight with better details and exact location of when she felt the ring fall off.John also gave this needle in a hay stack a swing for 2 days in the blistering heat with no luck. After our vigorous 3 day search during king tides with Constructive waves and Non Constructive waves I had concluded this was a matter of timing.. So I decided to give this another shot in the dark then arrived at 4am the final day.

After just 20min into scanning I dug up This lost Diamond ring in the wetline just up the slope. The Ocean Is always Hungry and can eat your valuables. After such hard work it was a relief recoverying this Wedding ring and another Prime example that we Never give up!

Carlsbad lost and found Silver bracelet

  • from Carlsbad (California, United States)

A sentimental piece of jewelry was lost and found by Theringfinders Metal detecting service in Carlsbad Ca.

On Sunday July 16th I was testing a Newly modified Pulse Induction Metal detector machine at Carlsbad beach while also removing a whole lot of trash left in the sand and only 30min later I found a Silver bracelet.

I was glad to hear a smooth threshold and Find a possible Item to return to the owner. The next morning I was about to post found silver bracelet in the san diego lost and found when I noticed an add that said; Lost a silver bracelet in Carlsbad. The same Place! What are the chances it’s theirs? So I emailed him right away with a description of the one I found. It Turned out to Not be his but was near the same area I had found that bracelet.

I offered to help search for it and Anthony responded via email promptly and was able to send 2 of his family members to meet me A.S.A.P at the exact location of where it was lost plus provide extra details needed for this recovery. I asked them the story behind this silver chain and they mentioned it was handed down by there Great Grandfather to a son.

Oh Wow I said to myself. This was a huge sentimental piece of Metal that is worth maybe a Million monotary dollars to the family and I really hoped I can help them FAST!

I began a grid search in the hottest spot swinging the detector when a buddy John Hughes and also a member of Theringfinders was coming down to help us.That is when I got a rare but very familiar Non ferrous Tent stake sound and kicked the sand with my toes…Then A heavy Silver bracelet came popping out of the sand shining like Diamonds forever.. along with many smiles😀

Soon after we met their father Anthony and got to hear more about the history of this Family heirloom Silver bracelet that was recently handed down to the great grandson.

What an awesome story to share and a Great service to be apart of.

Thank you Anthony for the generous reward and best regards to your family.Every pennie helps me help others in need.🇺🇸

TheRingfinders Metal Detectors has helped reunite a wedding ring set with their owners. What a miracle behind the story for this search  recoverying such precious stones that contains a Large sentimental piece of monetarily valued metals and gemstones.

July 17th I noticed an add online in the San Diego Lost and found while googling. A lady who lost her wedding ring on or near Cardiff beach had needed some dire help.I emailed her to see if there was a chance myself Curtis Cox/a Member of TheRingFinders could help find this with a Metal detector and if it could be simply buried in the sand at one of many places the rings could of been lost during that particular day. She emailed me back right away and asked me what I charge and some details of when/where the rings could of disappeared. I replied to her  with the honesty of what I do and The link to Theringfinders sight where I have many story’s of successful recovery’s to read.

I have rescued many Rings for Free especially for The military and ALL service members who protect and serve our Great Country.  I do not have a charge to help, Sometimes I am offered a reward,Tip,Present or any Gratuity they can afford but No matter the Cost,I Volunteer my time regardless of the dollar figure,Item lost. I am blessed with very good Karma in addition to the Piece of mind that comes with in these hunts.

Later that day Brenda and I had chose a good time to meet that afternoon plus to rule out if these rings may of still been naturally buried in the wet/dry sand or lost along the roadway in the city where they had walked.

After going over fine details of where, when and how it was lost I prepared to get my feet wet and started in the most pro dominant area where it may have fell first,The waters edge where they moved a wagon and belonging’s after the High tide was moving in.

Roughly 20min after brenda headed home with her newborn in the hot sun I had dug up an obvious pennie sound,Then after a similar but distinctive tone 6-8″ deep in wet sand just  happened to be a tiny 14k band loaded with diamonds.I emediatly sent her a picture asking if she had lost 1 or 2 rings?? I did not know she had lost 2 rings until Brenda responded via text there was Two..and I had just found the band…Oh wow. Extatic we both may of been so I geared up my equipment again and scanned 3′ from the first ring and heard a crystal clear familiar sound then dug up the Main Motherload diamond ring!

I contacted Brenda with the good news & she drove back down there with a big Smile.😀.

I hope one day the world will know there are Metal detecting guys From Theringfinders all over the globe out there with a generously big heart and the skills needed to help locate and return your lost Precious Ring.

Lost Gold Ring San Diego

  • from Carlsbad (California, United States)

A Gold wedding ring was found and returned by Theringfinders metal detecting service in Carlsbad ca.

June 3rd,2017   I received a phone call from a good friend John Hughes to help out William who had lost his ring in Carlsbad at the beach.

William had a friend he asked to store his Gold ring in a zipper pocket while they played volleyball. During the hour of fun in the sun his friend had taken his phone out of the same pocket to take photo’s and later they both realized the wedding ring was gone..buried in the sand. They had started to search in one volleyball court with there hands when a local fellow from A Voleyball Team who was waiting to use the court for a tournament suggested they call Theringfinders metal detecting service. John Hughes got the call and he went down there to help with out any luck. The beach was packed with people and the search area grew 100′ x 200′ feet after hearing his friend ran to another court and back during the time His ring disappeared.

I arrived to search the area that night and noticed it was a very large area to grid. I spent nearly 2hrs maticulously Gridding every inch of the zone and was running out of possible areas it could be. Approaching midnight I decided to head home to rest and give it a better shot in the morning. But like always,I never turn my machine off until I’m off the beach and while swinging back to my vehicle just out of the main search area I get a signal with a precious tone on my metal detector…I take 1 scoop and there she was,A very unique Gold and diamond ring made by Neil Lane.

I called William right away and he came down from the hotels 5 min away and was stoked I had recovered his wedding ring.

Lost Ring Found and Returned at Camp Del mar beach camp pendelton.  May 27th 2017

I received a call from John Hughes who is a good friend from Theringfinders. He had just got a call from a marine who had lost his ring on the beach and asked me if I could drive immediately to the base and find it for him. John ironically had another lost ring call in Carlsbad while I was headed to Camp pendelton to meet Kythan at the front gate. “Team Work” Like the NATO alliance!

Upon arriving at the scene of the lost gold ring he showed me the dry sand area where he moved a chair and noticed his ring disappear into the soft fluffy sand.  I turned on my Machine and began scanning in a 10’x12′ area.  In less than 5 minutes and 8 bottle caps I had found Kythans Wedding ring buried next to the chair.

They were very happy to have the ring back and asked me how much do they owe me for my service? I said it’s a FREE Charge to anyone in the service😀 Can’t beat that right!

He did cover me for the little fuel I spent but No matter,I always volunteer my metal detecting time to any USMC or Navy for sacrificing there time for our Freedom and this Great Country they serve and protect.🇺🇸

I got a call from a lady who lost her earring in a grass field at brengle terrace park,Located in Vista California.

Prior to many hours looking for the earring with her friends and thinking about, Buying/Renting a metal detector.

She had Found me online. After meeting her there with in the same hour I was called..while going over the story how it was lost…. …Abruptly..She said Oh NO…,The Lawnmower was here… Dang! My heart also Sank too💔!

There was Freshly Cut Grid marks and who knows where it could of been chopped up or flung too? I will admit,Bad scenero but The story of how it was lost when her 100 pound dog knocked it off her ear with its big paws in a small area had me excited, yet shadowed after seeing fresh lawnmower Lines..Oh Oh.😬

I knew it was somewhere, to be found?Right?           I enjoy the Search/hunt Either way..BTW😀

So I turned on my P.I machine and instantly was hit by Sodium lights that Interferes with metal detector equipment!!. I have spent many years practicing for this situation, It took me a few seconds to eliminate the false signals and dial in a smoother threshold on the A.P.I Pulse inducter machine..

After roughly 5-15 minutes in the search and nearly ten signals that I marked and skipped,I get a Good Matching signal⚒ 0-1 inches deep + Sounding like a choppy dime,Or small silver. Fortunately she had brought the other earring so I could hear it and I Knew..🎻🎼 🏁

We both stirred up the grass using our fingers like rakes and (Boom)  OMG it popped up.

I believe one of us caught it mid-air! I can’t remember? But the feeling we both had was Electricfying like Nikola Tesla. 😀

I was even shaken up ~ Long after Finding it!

Theringfinders Metal detecting service helped find and return a Lost Ring at Oceanside Pier.

Saturday,September 11th 2016.  I was at home wrenching on my old T.R.F Racecar when the phone rings📞 ..from a North county guy who was just playing football with friends and family. Two of his gold rings fell into the dry sand.  “Born by the beach” I dropped my monkey wrench and was there in minutes. Although Knowing This area does get cleaned by beach sifting machines and dozens of local hobbie detectorist’s. It was fortunate after meeting & talking to Dustin about where, when, how,He lost it?

I saw the 15’x15′ area of dry sand with finger Combe marks and classified sand mounds after they found 1 ring but not the other while finger searching..(Calling us right away can be an easy search & rescue).Plus I  knew I could help find it Fast)  in this circumstance.

Turned on my Advanced Pulse induction Machine and the first 10′ grid line near tables & trash cans I hear 8-10 pieces of trashy metal. Wow! Over Cautious only dug 3 garbage.

I usually “dig it all” on Ring calls just to be safe but this area was loaded with nails,Corona bottle caps, wire, you name it! So I flipped the switch in my head to (Gold Ring mode only)..Then skipped on to my second pass 1 min later & 2nd target I heard 🏁🏁🏁

I knew smiling🙂… Said to Dustin it’s here then, scooped it up…walking towards him shaking the sand out of the scoop ~~Magic~~! He got to see it first, before putting this Nice 14k wedding ring back on where it belongs. Hey,Dustin💍Finding your ring is a gift that keeps on giving back to others. Im glad I could help and look forward to more stories to share.

I enjoy these Calls, Not for Fortune or fame but for the Smiles,The hunt,& Good Karma. What a truly priceless find and return😊!

A wedding Ring was lost at Oceanside beach And Returned by Theringfinders metal detecting service. Call or text me 760 889 2751

Here is the story written by Lynn Penfield the Mother of Brett who accidentally lost his ring in the sand.

My son lost his wedding ring on a trip to California to visit family. He and his wife were playing volleyball on a beach in Oceanside, California, when he realized his ring was gone. They searched for it, but had to leave before finding it to catch their flight back to Virginia Beach, Virginia, where he is stationed with the Navy. Because my husband and I live in northern Wisconsin, there just wasn’t a valid solution to try to find the ring. It was suggested to me I check out craigslist to see if anyone had posted finding a ring. Unsuccessful at that attempt, I decided to post my own craigslist ad. Very quickly I received an e-mail from Curtis Cox in Oceanside, California, offering to go look for my son’s ring. Admittedly, I wasn’t holding out a lot of hope as three days had passed since the ring was lost. These wonderful men took the time out of their day immediately to go search for the ring. When they arrived at the location, a mother was there with her children. John and Curtis spoke to the mother, explaining why they were there. Soon thereafter, the mother approached John and Curtis with a ring her son had found while playing in the sand. A few hours after my first contact with Curtis, John Hughes emailed me stating a ring had been found in the vicinity where my son’s ring had been lost. I sent Curtis a picture of the ring that was taken six months earlier at my son’s wedding. Curtis sent me a picture back of the ring the mother had given them – and IT WAS MY SON’S RING! I was completely floored. Had John and Curtis not been there at that exact moment, the ring would have been lost forever. Instead, it’s now back on my son’s hand a week after he lost it. My entire family is so grateful to John and Curtis for their prompt response and successful return of my son’s ring. These two men are so kind and wonderful. We can’t thank them enough.
