Lost Diamond Pendent at Trout Lake Park in Vancouver, BC

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

Today at around 10am I received a call from a young lady who told me that she had lost her diamond pendent at a park not far from where I live so I jumped into my SUV and headed out to meet and hopefully find her diamond pendent.

When I arrived I was greeted by two young ladies who had set up a grid of the area they believed the pendent was in…

I started my search and I found a few targets mostly junk and then Maggie headed out to the rest room and her friend stayed behind while I was searching.

Not long after she left I received a good signal on my Whites V3I, I moved the grass to see the diamond pendent sparkling at me! I called Maggie’s girlfriend over to show her and we both just smiled…

A minute later Maggie showed up and I told her that I found a bottle cap and held up her pendent…

I love the reaction when people first see their lost item!

How special was Maggie’s diamond pendent? It was given to her 6 years ago from her boyfriend on her first year anniversary…And they are still together today!

I love my job!

Lost Breitling Watch in the Ocean at Kits Beach, Vancouver BC

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

Well this was a first for me in the 18 years I’ve been offering this service here in Vancouver… Two watch searches in less then 24 hours, the first was for a Rolex that was lost in the ocean and I found that one and this search for a Breitling…Both high quality watches and both I have owned back in the day so I understood how hard that must have been on both of them.I received a call from a young man that went on to explain that he lost his Breitling Transocean at the beach a few days ago and he wanted to know if I could help. Time is always a factor and watches are easy to spot so I explained that someone could have already found the watch. Well after seeing the area the watch was lost in I decided to come back at 3am to search the low tide where he thought it was lost at…After setting up my glow sticks  on the shore so I’d have a reference markers to line up with I started my grid search. After 1 1/2 hours in the dark I received a good strong signal and as I looked into my sand scoop I saw the watch! I felt so happy that I found the watch and that I’d get to text him a picture for him to see when he woke up. Thank you very much for the kind reward Aviv!I have the greatest job in the world! I love my Job! Lost something?Call me ASAPYou can watch the video on the link below…https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGJ5o0eYZe0

Lost Silver Pendent at the Equestrian Centre in Vancouver BC

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

I received a call yesterday from a young lady that lost her silver pendent at her Equestrian Centre and was hoping that I could help. Of course I would! I met her today and she showed me where she thought it might be,  it was a large area and after a few hours I started to think maybe someone found it before me.

Another hour of doing a grid search and I got a nice loud signal that I was looking for and my detector showed me it was silver…And there it was just inches under the gravel…

I was very happy to see her silver hand pendent because I could tell she was pretty upset that it was lost and the fact that it was taking me that long to find it made her nervous I’m sure…I couldn’t find the silver chain as it was very thing and dainty but that could have stayed on her clothes for a while longer before it made it to the ground.

Lost Platinum Wedding Band at English Bay Beach, Vancouver…Found

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

I helped David find his Platinum wedding band that he lost in the ocean 3 days before we made contact. He told me the story that just before they left the beach for home he was washing the sand off his daughter when he felt the ring come off his finger and into the water.

He spent the next 45 minutes searching for his wedding ring in the not so warm water but so often the end result is the sand wins! That’s only temporary as ”The Ring Finders” are there to help!

If David could put me in the area I will find it, if someone hasn’t beat me to it.

Well after searching the first area just 2 hours before dark we didn’t  have any luck. David started to think that he put me in the wrong location after his wife sent him a picture of him in the water. I decided to return the next morning for low tide and search the new area…

It took 2 hours and I found the ring! I love a good hunt! And I love my job!

Thanks for reading my blog.
