LOST RING FOUND IN APEX, NC…….. FOUND

Got a text message from Bonnie on Saturday night June 5th at 20:50, that her husband Skip had lost his wedding ring in the water while wrestling around with his son. He was very upset and heartbroken that he had lost it. I reassured her that I would do my very best to find it for him and make him happy again. The next morning, first thing, I drive to their location and I get the lowdown. I changed my settings to only find silver or large sliver I then jumped into the water. It was less than 10 mins later I get a solid on the top silver target that I just knew it had to be the lost ring. After about five attempts to scoop it out, I finally saw the big shiny ring at the top of the clay clump on my sand scooper as it fell into the basket. I yelled out, ” I GOT IT!!!” I get up to the bank and wash it off, shoot a photo and hand it back to Bonnie’s husband and he gave me a great big ole hug. Another happy person, reunited with their precious lost item.

I received a call from fellow ring finder “Doug Hardy” about a lost wedding set in someones backyard. He went and tried but the rain came in and he didn’t have enough time to continue. He asked if I would be able to go out and try. I said, “Sure, I will give her a call” I called Jaimie and got the details and I headed out there to see if I could find her lost rings.

After, about 30 mins of searching, I finally got the right signal I was looking for. BOOM got both rings and they were both still together too.

She was about 15 mins away at a baby shower, so I hoped in the truck, got the address and headed her way to reunite her with her rings.

Love this hobby, love reuniting folks with their lost treasures.

I received a call from a gentleman that had lost his ring out of his workout shorts pocket while doing his morning workout with his wife. He took me to the spot he and his wife had been laying on their backs and doing exercise and within 5 mins I found his lost platinum ring.

He didn’t want his picture taken and put online so we settled for him

holding it in the palm of his hand.

Did a ring recovery today. Ring was a custom made gold ring, no marking. It had been lost for two years. Returned to the owner at his business “GARDEN SUPPLY COMPANY” in Cary NC.
He’s a bee keeper too and was tending to some bees when some got under his hood. As he rare back and swatted from behind the ring went flying backwards, he thought forward, so I spent most of my time searching in that area. After about 2 hours and no luck, I decided to spread my search out.
After about another 30-40 mins and digging everything! I get a 51-53 signal! I barely put my digging tool in the ground and I see shiny edge pop up. Pluck it out and BOOM GOLD RING BABY!!!

LOST WALLET FOUND IN RALEIGH, NC…… FOUND

So last night I got a call from a gentleman’s employee, who found me on “The Ring-finders” page, about his boss that lost his wallet at a construction site, while removing a stump with an excavator yesterday evening, on my way home from digging. I couldn’t do it yesterday, because of work.
After getting the details from Don (owner) he said the only metal he could think of that he had in his wallet was two AMEX titanium credit cards.
We agreed to do it first thing this morning. I get to the site and his business partner met up with me at the lot where the wallet was lost. 30 mins later BOOM recovered his wallet, loaded with credit cards, DL and his concealed and carry license.
Owner chose not to produce a photo of himself holding the wallet.

LOST RING FOUND IN SPRING LAKE, NC…… FOUND!

I got a call last night from Nick saying he was out looking for a turkey hunting spot when his leg fell into a rotted out tree stump and his ring came off. He saw it come off, but quickly lost it. He tried to move leaf by leaf it hopes to find it. With no such luck, he went to the local Walmart and bought a bounty hunter. Took it back out to the site and scanned the area. Again, no luck.

He then sought help from “The Ring Finders” and I came out to help him locate his lost ring the next day. I scanned the area and didn’t hear anything either. I then took my pin-pointer out and stuck it in the rotted stump hole and got a hit. I pulled out three handfuls of stuff before I was able to rescue it from the two foot hole.

LOST CELL PHONE 11 FOUND IN MORRISVILLE, NC…… FOUND!

I got a call from Dashawn today about his lost cell phone on the side of the road, off an exit. I had to hear this story first hand. He proceeded to tell me, while on his motorcycle, his phone was in his left inside pocket at the time. As he exited off the highway the between his speed and the wind it managed to somehow fly out!!! It went to his right side mind you….. He said, “he had find me follow me” but when he went to find his phone with it, his lost phone died. He was able to connect via bluetooth from his helmet before it died too. So we were able to get an approximate location range of where the phone should be laying.

I agreed to meet him at the location. After about 30 mins and about 30-40 feet, TO THE RIGHT, from where he had exited and lost his phone, His phone was found. He was so happy, excited and very grateful to have the old phone back in his hands!

LOST RING IN FAYETTEVILLE, NC…… FOUND!

I got a call on 9/14 around 7:30 from Shawn. He stated he was in his front yard playing with his daughter and as he was throwing things around and he’s ring flew off! He said he wasn’t sure where it landed. I told him I could be there on 9/15 and help him locate it.

When I got there the yard wasn’t very big, so it didn’t take me long (about 5-10 mins) to locate it and return it back to its owner.

After I located it, he proceeded to tell me they had just gotten married and they were leaving for the honeymoon the next day. He was happy that I saved the ring, his marriage and enabled him to enjoy his honeymoon all in one swing of my coil. I was very glad to help Shawn get out of the doghouse!

I got a call from Robert this evening saying he had lost his wedding ring while swatting at a hornet that had landed on him while running away from the area of the nest. He said, he flung his hands at this hornet and he felt his ring fly off into the yard. After about 20’s mins of searching for it himself, he searched “Ring Finders” and found “The Ring Finders” page and called me up leaving me a voicemail. I called him right back and drove over to where he had lost it. After about 10 mins of looking for it, his ring was found laying right in a thick part of grass. Another marriage saved, another ring recovered and returned.

I  just joined “The Ring Finders” on 7/17. I received my first call to help find a lost wedding ring, from Justin from Fuquay Varina on 7/19 Sunday night, around 9:30 pm. Justin had lost it around 3:00 pm that day while out with his family. He was bringing in the rope that tied up to a tree to get ready to leave and head back home when he felt it slide off into the water. He got his family home and searched online for help with finding his ring. He came across “The Ring Finders” page and found my new profile on the page and gave me a call.

We spoke on the phone and went out that very night to attempt to find it. I met him at his house, we headed out to the spot and hunted for it from 10:00 pm until about 2:00 am. Sadly, I wasn’t successful. Two days later I get a text that was headed back out and asked if I wanted to join him. I jumped in the truck and met him at the site. We headed out and I again hunted from about 10:00 pm to about 3:00 am. Again, I wasn’t successful.

Went back home, got an hour and a half sleep. Then got up at 4:30 a buddy came and picked me up with is boat and we went back to the site. Got to the spot by 6:00 am and I found the ring in the very spot where he had been parking his boat and the rear/motor end was near or had been near that spot the first two times out.

I went back home and got cleaned up and went to his house to bring him back his wedding ring. Justin and his son Braden were happy to see it back where it belonged.
