WIFE LOSES 18k WHITE GOLD and DIAMOND FILLED ENGAGEMENT RING IN THE SAND AT WASAGA BEACH 1, ON 🇨🇦

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

2nd 🇨🇦 CANADA DAY 🇨🇦 Ring recovery request came in just as I was finishing up the Lake of Bay ring recovery!

Lauren had messaged “Hello. I was pointed in your direction in help of finding my lost white gold and diamond ring. July 1 at Wasaga beach area 1. I took it off momentarily and placed it in my sons cap. He then put it on his head and it fell out in the sand, I realized immediately but was unable to find it. It would be in the stretch of beach you see in the photo below. It could be between the water and approx 3/4 of the way to the sidewalk. It may have even stayed in his hat and fell out but we did not leave this area. Please let me know if you can help“

I message Lauren back that I was just cleaning up from a ring recovery in Muskoka and then I would give her a call.

I left the Muskoka area and called Lauren on the phone to get the details. I was on my way but time was of the essence at Wasaga Beach #1! I was crazy jam packed and the heat was incredible! Lucky to have had free parking for the day and found a spot close by!

Unfortunate, she she did not GPS the location but she did have a photo of where they were sitting! That was a huge help!  When I arrived I FaceTimed Lauren as to the location.

When I was speaking with her, a lady beach goer that was sitting beside Lauren came up to me and said “are you looking for what I’m thinking you’re looking for?” and I said “yes I am and I’m the phone with the owner right now!”

The lady assisted by advising me where Lauren’s beach towels were!

One of the other ladies offered to video as I started my grid search. The second target in under 2 minutes I knew it was something sweet! Solid 6 on the Equinox800 and only 2 inches down! I pulled out my pinpointed and cleared the sand away…exposing the ring!

Check out this video of me finding the ring and then FaceTime in Lauren back!!! PRICELESS!!

I FaceTimed Lauren again and put the ring up to the phone! The tears & screams of joy from Lauren and her husband were heard!

I then made a plan with Lauren to meet her on my way home to return her beautiful engagement ring back to her!

Lauren was aware I have a “pay it forward” program on top of my call out fee. They made an extremely generous donation to the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation which goes to help breast cancer patients with their financial support. (Wigs, medications, taxi, daycare, food, rent, etc) Lauren will then receive a tax receipt for the amount!!

Lauren’s smile says it all!!!

Young lady lost a custom silver ring off the dock into Lake-Of-Bays, Ontario

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

I received a phone call from Parker asking questions if I am able to come up to Lake-of-Bays near Baysville, Ontario in the Muskoka Lakes region which is beautiful cottage country!!

Parker had tried on her mothers custom silver ring which was custom made in Vancouver by an acclaimed artist. She put the ring in her baseball cap For safe keeping on a table on the dock. Forgetting it was there she put her baseball cap on and heard the ring hit the dock and felt it dropped into the water. There happens to also be a crib of rocks which supports the dock.

I headed up early early Canada Day morning and surprised the roads were not heavily travelled. Saw a doe with her two babies at the side of the road. Prepped and tested my dive gear As it was underneath the dock and about 6 to 8 feet deep in the location of the drop area. I did some searching and the visibility was poor at times after I used up one tank I came out of the water and asked Parker if she actually heard the ring hit the water after hitting the deck which she did hear. She said no, then I suggested we start checking in between the dock boards.

Parker’s Mother let out a loud scream “oh my God, here it is!” Sure enough there was the ring stuck in between the two dock boards underneath a table where Parker’s grandfather sat when I arrived!

Here is a short video;

Asking as many questions as possible is very important to figuring out where the loss item could be! I always learn for every recovery!

Parker and her mother were very happy to see the beautiful custom ring back!! They were very generous in a donation to the Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation! I have a “PAY-IT-FORWARD” campaign which I use my metal/scuba dive detecting hobby to raise money for this wonderful charity in assisting patients financially!!

Thank you very much Parker & Mom for contacting me, for your kind hospitality and for your generous donation!!

Engagement Ring recovered in Sea Bright NJ by Dennis Burlingame

I was already detecting on a beach when I got a call from Sabrina asking for help to locate her lost engagement ring. While enjoying the 4th of July on the beach she took off her wedding set to put on lotion and laid them on her lap and forgetting they were there stood up and they flew off disappearing into the sand. Digging around they managed to find her wedding band but not her engagement ring. They even went to the store and bought an inexpensive metal detector but that didn’t help as well. In the mean time her friend found me on Ring Finders and told her to call. Told her i’d be happy to come and help but it would take some time to get there with traffic and from where I was but that was alright. I met her and her husband on the beach and they were still in the area they were sitting and after a chat we figured an area where the ring might be. I boxed out the area and no sooner started to grid the area within maybe 6 swings of the detector I found her ring. With tears of JOY she couldn’t believe she had her beautiful ring back on her hand where it belongs. I’m glad I was able to save her holiday for her and her husband and they can enjoy the rest of it not worrying about her loss. Always a great feeling.

Wedding band recovered in Long Branch by Dennis Burlingame

Got a call from Jim while enjoying Father’s Day with his family at the beach, what was a good time took a turn for the worst. He took his wedding band off to take a dip in the ocean and placed it in the cup holder on his chair. Forgetting it was there he packed up everything to head home and then remembered the ring but it was to late, it had already disappeared into the sand. I met him and he showed me aboutwhere he was sitting but wasn’t sure if it fell out there or as he was walking off the beach. I started looking in the area he was sitting and was coming up empty, his kids were there watching and his son mentioned he thought they were a little closer to the water. With that I started on the other side from where I had already checked and sure enough the first pass down mid way I found his ring. He was so relieved. A great ending to his Father’s Day on the beach. Always a good feeling to give back.

Wedding Band recovered in Long Branch NJ by Dennis Burlingame

Got a call from Eddie, while enjoying the day with his wife on the beach, he went to go into the water when at the edge he got knocked down by a wave resulting in loosing his ring. Already on their way home he called asking for help. After getting some info I drove down and searched the area but with no luck. Getting home I asked for some more info that might help and he remembered sitting in front of some cabanas. Turns out I hunted the wrong lifeguard stand the night before and moved my search to the next one down. After 5 passes back and forth in the area I found his ring. I texted him a picture and he couldn’t believe it. Made arrangements to meet him the following week to return it back to him. When we met up I gave it to his wife so she could put it back where it belonged. A happy ending and great feeling.

Janet called me and was very emotional over the recent loss of her wedding ring in her yard. She told me she was married fifty-two years to her husband that recently passed. She was   devastated at the fact she just lost her yellow gold baguette diamond wedding band of thirty years. It meant everything to her for all the memories this ring represented and she was very upset that it was now missing from her finger.

She told me that it had become loose in recent times and on a few occasions it slipped off her finger but she was always able to find it. Because of this she was very aware of the loose fitting wedding ring and was constantly fiddling with it making sure it was still on her finger.

However just a few days prior to our conversation she told me she had walked down her gravel drive way to her mail box. She collected a few small pieces of mail, came back to her garage where she placed the mail down then walked over to her front yard. She then picked up a few sticks and went over to pull some of the ivy vines off a tree trunk before it choked the tree out. She said with a lot of certainty as soon as she walked out of the ivy it came to her immediate attention that her cherished wedding ring of thirty years was no longer on her finger and missing! She then went back into the ivy and started searching for her ring to no avail. Her daughter and son-in-law arrived thereafter to assist her by cutting back the ivy vines in front of the tree. They picked through all the pieces before placing the scraps into a box. They continued to raked the bits up and looked as hard as they could. All this and still no ring was found. After the search efforts in the yard Janet’s daughter did some searching online and found TheRingFinders.com and told her mother to give me a call.

We believed the ring to be safe on her private property so we scheduled a search with a early morning start. Janet pointed out exactly where she walked and her actions that helped put me in the correct spots. With a confident and experienced effort I conducted the search fo her lost wedding ring.

Watch the exciting conclusion of this ring search on this episode of the SeattleRingHunter searches for 30 Year Old Gold Diamond Wedding Ring Lost in Ivy Patch Bothell WA.

Wedding Band recovered in Long Branch by Dennis Burlingame

We all here at Ring Finders work together to make sure people are reunited with their items. With that Edward Cropski got a call about a lost ring in Long Branch but he’s a good distance away, he called Matty St Germain and he isn’t that close either so that where I come in. Matty asked if I would go ( i’m only bout 25 minutes away ) and I said yes. I called John and told him I was on my way. Seems John took off his wedding band to put on lotion, laid it on his lap then got up to get something and the ring sunk into the sand. After he noticed it gone he tried to find it with his hands with no luck. He found Ring Finders on google and called Ed getting the ball rolling. I got to the beach and he met me and took me where he was sitting. First target was a penny then swinging the detector a few more times I heard the tone I was waiting for and told John your ring is right here and sure enough I dug one scope and there was his ring. He couldn’t believe it. Another happy ending to his day on the beach. Great feeling giving back.

High School ring recovered in Belmar NJ by Dennis Burlingame

Got an email from Rachael while enjoying the day at the beach she laid her high school ring on her towel then decided to move her spot. Forgetting she put it there it got lost in the sand when it fell off. I went right down to the beach after talking to her getting information as to where she was sitting ( she had already left the beach ) and couldn’t find it. Trying to remember and give me an area,  she was off some distance from where she really was. Called back and asked for more information she could think of. So with her email and new info I made arrangements with fellow RingFinder Matty St Germain ( 2 detectors are better than one sometimes, what ever it take to reunite someone with their lost item ) to head out together that night because he had a recovery himself a few towns away. We split up the area we figure it should be and Matty came up with the ring. Sorry to say we weren’t as lucky in finding Matty’s  recovery but that was lost 3 days earlier and the guy wasn’t sure how or where he lost it. Met up with Rachael 2 days later to reunite her with her ring. Her smile says it all, another happy ending

Cell Phone Recovery at the T Dock Greenlake Seattle WA

  • from Mercer Island (Washington, United States)

SeattleRingHunter Lost Item Recovery Specialist LAND & SCUBA Call ASAP 206-618-8194

Watch video link below…

I received a call from a coworker that his friends daughter had recently lost her iPhone in Greenlake Seattle. She had been sitting on the T dock when her iPhone slipped out of her pocket and sank to the bottom of the lake. I learned it was a new iPhone so there was a good chance this phone had some basic water protections built in. We had high hopes that the phone would still be working after the recovery. After exchanging a few txt messages with Grece and a few screenshot it was very clear where the phone was lost. I told her she would not need to be present during the search. I agreed to head out in the next days to recover her phone and contact her with my results after my efforts.

Upon arriving at Greenlake it was moderately busy with walkers enjoying the park. The weather was absolutely amazing with fresh air pleasantly blowing lightly. The swimming areas of the lake had not been reopened due to social distancing policies so the activity on the lake waters was at a minimum with a few paddlers and some random kids swimming. Having the day at the dock I planned on prioritizing Grece’s iPhone recovery and then spending some additional time doing clean up and treasure hunting at this site.  When time allows it’s alway a great opportunity to pack out some garbage from our local waters.

Our Greenlake park is extremely popular serving over one million visitors per year. Knowing that this is a very high traffic park and a hand full our our local underwater treasure hunting buddies visit this site often I was not prepared to find as many goodies under the dock waters as I did!

Watch this exciting episode of the SeattleRingHunter in full dive recovery mode to see how many cell phones were actually removed from Greenlake Seattle.

Please like, share, comment and subscribe to my YouTube channel #SeattleRingHunter and as always thanks for the support. I want to use this platform to get the word out of the amazing recovery services offered by the TheRingFinders.com members across the country!
