Kennedy and her family were spending some vacation time here in sunny Florida at an Airbnb when early Sunday morning her young 2 year old daughter decided to collect her mom’s rings and hide them throughout the house. When Kennedy woke up she found one of her diamond rings on the kitchen floor and the other one tucked snugly in a corner of her daughters bed blankets. And the diamond wedding ring was no where to be found. Kennedy was beginning to feel desperate knowing they only had a few more days of vacation before heading back home to Michigan. Later that evening she typed into Google “Help me find my ring” and up popped one of my successful ring recovery stories and she sent me a text asking for my help. House searches are not always easy and thankfully there were a lot less toys and cloths and furniture and shoes, etc to look through being as it is a vacation rental. I started in the kitchen and using a very strong flashlight I searched carefully making my way to the 5 bedrooms upstairs…checking bathrooms and closets, under beds and in blankets. An hour and a half later I made my way downstairs and began in the laundry room where there were piles of cloths and suitcases. Ten minutes later…BINGO! There, behind a large suitcase, simply hiding down by the baseboard was Kennedy’s lost diamond wedding ring! Kennedy writes,”Mike and theringfinders are so kind and are life savers. Being from out of town on vacation, I had a limited time to find my wedding ring after my toddler hid it in our Airbnb. Mike was so helpful and found it within two hours. I am so thankful!”

Kennedy and her mother were so delighted and were beaming from ear to ear, saying how thankful they were for my help. How I thank God for allowing me to find her ring and to help bring relief and joy to their hearts!

Lost Wedding Ring Rescued in the Snow in Luxemburg Casco

  • from Green Bay (Wisconsin, United States)

Frank lost a wedding ring…and not just any wedding ring. This ring belonged to his father. Frank’s father passed away when he was 10 years old, and his sister was seven. Neither of them at their age could comprehend that their dad was gone and not coming back. Their mother passed away in 2021 from cancer. She gave Frank his father’s wedding ring a week before she died. Inscribed inside the 18K gold ring was “Always with you, Love Mom and Dad”.

Frank was repairing a utility box on Monday, February 17th, 2025, damaged by a vehicle sliding off the snowy road into the ditch. He took off his left glove and hastily raised his arm so the sleeve of the jacket would come down on his arm. While he did this activity with some force, the ring popped off his finger and into the snow.

He looked for the ring on Monday and Tuesday without success. He went online and Googled “somebody that finds rings in Green Bay”. Fellow RingFinder, Tom Caldie’s name appeared at the top of the page. Frank reached out to him Tuesday evening. I spoke with Tom about the search on Tuesday evening and wished him luck finding the ring. Tom called me after the search on Wednesday evening and mentioned spending about three and a half hours searching without success. Tom gave Frank my contact information to see if I would give it a try since he was leaving town for the weekend.

Frank contacted me, and I agreed to meet at 11:00 AM on Saturday at the location where the ring was lost. Frank was not one to give up, especially for this ring. He was prepared to shovel snow with two of his friends using a large deep fryer used to boil turkeys in peanut oil, then let the snow melt, allowing the ring to appear.

Tom had left his detector with Frank to use, and his friend Drew was using it while Frank went back to his house and retrieve a lighter and propane tank to use the deep fryer. I had to change settings on my machine a few times due to electromagnetic interference from the underground power lines…lots of chatter, and it was very tough to hear solid tones. I searched in areas Tom had not detected and could easily see, looking at the snow that was not trampled down. I found the ring about 10 feet away at twelve o’clock or right in front of where Frank was standing when he raised his arm in about six inches of the fluffy white stuff. Frank and his other friend Jesse were unloading more equipment from the vehicle, ready to get some exercise. When they came near the utility box in the ditch, Drew and I planted the ring near a near the deep fryer. Frank was ecstatic the ring was found. The picture above shows a smile not coming off his face for a long time…from one Marine helping another Marine…Semper Fi

Lost wedding ring found in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Lost your ring, jewelry, cell phone, keys… Don’t wait until it’s too late. Text or email ASAP 24/7 Mark at 434-987-0568.

I received a text message from Peter last night asking for help finding his wedding ring. He lost it while clearing brush from a steep leaf covered hillside behind his home in Charlottesville, Virginia.

I met Peter this morning at 8 AM and listened as he described where he was and what he was doing when he noticed his ring had come off. He was pretty sure that he had noticed right away when the ring was missing, so this really helped narrow the search area.

Starting at the bottom of the hill, I did a careful grid search working my way to the top in the most likely area. There were many metal targets, but nothing that sounded like a ring. Then I selected a second search area, and within a couple minutes got that beautiful sound that I had been hoping for. At the base of a small tree a few inches down in the leaves was the wedding ring.

This was my first recovery with The Ring Finders, and I was so happy to be able to return this ring to Peter and his wife.

Bindiya’s 14 karat white gold, 2.5 carat diamond engagement / wedding ring with .35 carat accent diamonds on both sides of the band’s bridge – recovered by THE RING HERO, Brian Rudolph

Bindiya, Arjun and brother celebrate the fantastic ring recovery performed by ring finder, Brian Rudolph (also known as THE RING HERO)

Brian Rudolph, Lost Item Recovery Specialist (also known as THE RING HERO) searches  Land, Water, Sand, Snow, Leaves, Cliffs, Houses and Vehicles. He Will Find Your Lost Item! Call ASAP (301) 466-8644!

Bindiya called me in desperation after she lost her 14 karat white gold, 2.5 carat diamond engagement / wedding ring with .35 carat accent diamonds on both sides of the band’s bridge.

The client found me on the THE RING FINDERS website, an elite international directory of specialized metal detectorists.

Bindiya shared that she lost her precious ring sometime in the past couple of days prior to calling me. She remembered coming home with it but then at some point she looked down and the ring was not on her finger any longer. The desperate woman searched everywhere in the house but all of her efforts led to no avail.

Eventually, she looked online for help to find her irreplaceable keepsake. As soon as I started talking with the young lady, I began asking every question possible. I asked her where the garbage was and if it was already picked up by the county. Bindiya explained that she had already looked through the garbage and then placed the bags back in the can and wheeled it out to the end of her driveway for pickup that day.

I immediately told my client to take the trash can back up to the garage and wait for my arrival. She didn’t think there was any way that the ring could have ended up in the trash because she had already thoroughly looked through the garbage bags just in case she had discarded the precious piece of jewelry in the throwaways.

When I arrived at the Asburn, Virginia residence, Arjun (Bindiya’s husband), took me through their house and showed me all of the places that his wife had been around during the time of the ring’s disappearance. I immediately started to probe the furniture and metal detected clothes and other important objects in multiple rooms throughout the large beautiful home. After a couple of hours, I was pretty convinced that the ring was not in the house.

At some point, Bindiya returned home with the children and I gave her a summary of all of the places that I had searched but with no positive results. I even asked the children what they remembered on the evening when the ring was identified as missing. One of the kids thought that her mother opened the trash can under the sink to discard some food from the evening dinner. It was at that moment that I insisted that I should inspect and metal detect the bags of garbage that I requested Bindiya to remove from the curb earlier in the day. The garbage was the last place that needed to be searched before I would have to call it quits.

I went out to the garage, retrieved all of my necessary equipment to do the search and then began metal detecting every piece of trash that was in the suspected bags. Once I finished the first white trash bag, I began metal detecting all of the contents in the second plastic receptacle. Bindiya, Arjun and his brother restlessly watched over my investigation in the cold garage, hoping that my hunch in finding the beautiful piece of jewelry would be correct. As it turned out, my suspicions turned out to be 100% accurate! When I reached the bottom of the trash bag, I metal detected all of the contents that were mixed in a pile of coffee grounds. It was there that my handheld metal detector began to beep and there it was! My eyes beheld the most amazing looking diamond ring just “swimming” in the mixture of all of the black grounds and miscellaneous pieces of rubbish!

The family went crazy the moment I revealed my incredible recovery! This irreplaceable sentimental ring (which also had a tremendous monetary value attached to it) would have been lost forever at the central city dump had it not been for my strong advice to my client to bring that trash back to the house! That was the advice of an experienced RING HERO and I am so proud to share that this amazing ring was yet another sentimental keepsake rescued from the snares of the county’s trash incinerator and horrific dump site!

Lost wedding ring on Cocoa Beach

  • from Melbourne Beach (Florida, United States)

I got the call from Laurens husband that she had just lost her wedding rings at the beach. I was able to get there the next day to hunt for the rings.  The area where they thought the rings were lost was the size of a football field.  I thought to myself this is going to take awhile. The search went better than expected and the rings were found. Another great day for the Ringfinders.

Lost Wedding Ring, Point Pleasant Beach NJ, recovered by Edward Trapper, NJ Ring Finder

  • from Lavallette (New Jersey, United States)

Valerie called, asking if I could come to the beach to help find her brother’s wedding ring. They had all been at the beach the day before, playing spike ball behind their towels, and it was only later that evening that her brother realized his ring was missing. They were sure it had to be where they had been playing. I told her I could head out that evening, after the beach cleared a bit, as it was a hot, busy day. I also mentioned that the beach they were at was heavily searched by metal detectorists after hours. Luckily, the area where they had been playing was farther back from the typical search zones.

I arrived at the beach about 30 minutes before Valerie and began searching based on the pictures and aerial map she had sent. I hadn’t had any luck when I noticed a text from Valerie and her friend, Dave, letting me know they had arrived. I showed them the area I had already covered, and they realized they were actually about 50 to 75 feet farther back than they initially thought. Fortunately, the area was still clear despite the warm evening.

After about 15 minutes of searching in the new area, I got a solid tone on my metal detector. Sure enough, it was what we believed to be her brother’s wedding ring. Valerie wasn’t certain at first, but after texting her brother, he confirmed it was his. We took a few pictures and did a video call with him to share the good news. He was so grateful to have his wedding band back. Another successful recovery!

I share every emotional ring return on Facebook

Lost Gold Wedding Band – Found! By Metal Detector Specialist Brian Carpenter in Pittsburgh, PA

  • from Indiana (Pennsylvania, United States)

Lost your ring, other valuable jewelry, cellphone, keys, or other metal object…call or text Brian Carpenter at (814)244-2300 as soon as possible. I am a ring recovery/metal detecting specialist serving Pittsburgh, Indiana (PA), and most of Western PA. Why rent a metal detector when you can get a trained operator with top of the line equipment at the same time…

I was contacted by Tim who had lost his gold wedding ring. He was not sure but he thought it flew off his hand in the backyard when he was throwing hay. Tim has some dogs and the backyard was getting a bit muddy so he was trying to keep the yard from turning into a mud pit. He normally uses his right hand but after having shoulder surgery he was forced to use his left. It was after he was working in the yard he noticed his ring was missing. When Tim called he was a little frustrated as he had went to a local tool rental and rented a metal detector but all it did was beep! I told Tim that was normal and I would check to see when I could come out.

I checked my scheduled and the weather and decided that I could make it the next day. I took off and let Tim know I was coming. Of course the weather had looked great but when I pulled in it started to rain. Tim showed me the yard, pretty standard with a steep incline on both sides. He was guessing it was on the flat part where he had spread most of the hay. I got to work and much to my surprise the ground sounded pretty good and I was able to use my large coil. I cleared the first part with no luck and went down to the steep incline on the right side. After a few passes I ran into the ring, I don’t know if I saw it or heard it first but there it was. I picked it up and it was a beautiful ring and big! I walked up the hill and told Tim it was pretty ugly down there just before I handed him his ring. He could not believe I had found it and gave me a big hug. Tim then told me when I did not find it on the flat his heart had sunk and he thought it was gone. Funny thing is that thought had never crossed my mind yet as I has a lot more area to cover. I was glad to have found it and we thanked St. Anthony as we had both asked for some divine intervention. Tim and I talked for quite a while afterwards and his wife was also kind enough to thank me as well. Tim explained to me he reached out to his jeweler and the replacement cost for the ring was double or maybe even more. More importantly he told me the diamonds in the ring were extra special as they were from both his and his wife’s families and even if he had to have the ring replaced he did not anymore special diamonds to put into it. Thankfully he did not have to worry about that. It was awesome to meet another kind and extremely generous client and reunite him with his special wedding ring.

My co-worker Chris relayed a story about losing his class ring in 2004.  We finally got a break with the weather and schedule to take a look for it.  Didn’t take long as it was within 5′ of where he described losing it 20 years ago.  How’s that for a class (ring) reunion!!

14K Yellow Gold Diamond Ring Lost, Found and Returned Oak Island NC

  • from North Myrtle Beach (South Carolina, United States)

This adventure started on the evening of February 28th, around 6 p.m. when I received the following text message, “I lost my diamond ring in the yard today. I was raking leaves and cutting plants….could u help me?? I live in Oak Island NC.” I called the number attached to the text and didn’t get an answer, so I replied to her text saying, “Yes, call (included my number). Jim.” Within a couple of minutes, she called, and I got additional details. I told her I could be there in an hour, which she agreed to and sent me her address.

When I arrived, I met Teresa, and she showed me the areas she suspected her ring could be. I turned on my Equinox 800 and went to work.  I scanned 3 or 4 piles of leaves, a couple of other areas she was in and there was no ring. I originally thought this would be an easy search, sure fooled me!!! She asked if I could check her concrete porch. I advised her that more than likely there was rebar in the concrete, which there was. We started doing a visual search. She mentioned that she had repotted some plants, so I used my pin pointer to check the planters. While I was checking one planter, Teresa picked up another planter to move to closer to me. Suddenly, she said “here it is!” When she had picked up the planter, it tilted enough to cause the ring to come out of hiding and hit the floor. She was so excited and relieved.

Teresa – Thank you so much for trusting me to help find your lost treasure.

Jim

Lost Sentimental Gold Cross & Chain at Paradise Cove Beach Ko Olina…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This Gold Cross & Necklace hunt began when I got a call from Jose who is from Columbia and was vacationing on Oahu.  While enjoying the waters of Paradise Cove Beach, Jose  had taken his cross and necklce off for safe keeping and placed it on a towel.  Unbeknownst to the family members someone used the towel and when Jose came out of the water the cross & necklace were no where to be found.  He found “Metal Detector services” on Google and gave me a call.  I was wrapping up my work day, so I told Jose I would run home, grab my gear and head on over in about an hour.  They waited for me to arrive and when I got there Jose and his lovely wife met me on the beach to show me where they thought the cross & necklace would be.  Jose drew a box in the sand and I started the grid search.  A few minor trash targets, then a nice solid 18 on the Manticore and in one scoop there was the beautiful necklace glistening in the scoop.  Jose and his family were overjoyed as I was in the last line of the grid and they were worried.  I always try hard to find Jesus and today we did.  Aloha to Jose and his family!
