Lost Gold Wedding Ring Found, Donner Lake, Truckee, California

Got a text yesterday afternoon at 4:27pm, from Cody, requesting a lost ring recovery search for her husband’s wedding ring in Donner Lake. This wedding ring was very special having originally belonged to his late father.
He had been climbing a rock, three hundred feet or so, offshore in Donner Lake. His hand slipped and off came his ring in about 8 feet of water.
We arranged to meet at the entrance to the Donner Memorial State Park at 8:00am.
By 8:15am they guided me to a shoreline location closest to the offshore rock.
I geared up and began swimming out to the rock. With my XP Deus 2 metal detector and Blu3 Nomad dive system, I was able to recover his ring in a short amount of time.
At 8:40am I handed the ring over. He and Cody were very happy and relieved to have his father’s ring back on his finger.

I got a text Sunday afternoon from Chris who had been visiting from Texas and while vacationing at Silver Strand Beach in Oxnard had lost his wedding ring boogie boarding. Evidently he had just caught a sweet wave and got up to wave at this his family and off came his wedding ring into the surf. Thinking he still had a chance to find it he went out the next morning and searched the beach at low tide and came away empty handed. Chris shared his situation with a passer by on the beach and he suggested he find a guy who uses a metal detector and that he had heard of a guy who finds rings for people. He went home and found Dave The RingFinder on Chat GPT! Unfortunately Chris and his family had left Oxnard to visit family in Bakersfield and wouldn’t be returning so I was on my own. I explained to Chris that the only low tide decent enough in this cycle was the next morning at 6am and that I would go then. He gave me the area and unfortunately it was about 75 yards long by 25 wide so I had to move fast.

I got to the beach and began to move in and out of the water gridding perpendicular to the ocean. I had gone almost the entire distance south that he had mentioned when I decided to make a couple more passes before turning north to search. I had only dug two targets in that first hour so I began to theorize that most objects were buried deep. That being said on the next pass I got a solid 41 on the Minelab Manticore in about 6 inches of water and I began to scoop. And there it was, Chris’s wedding ring! It was going back to Texas after all!

LOST HUGE GOLD RING IN POND NEAR MAXTON, NC….FOUND!!

Received a call from this gentleman last night about him losing a big gold ring!

Story goes, he was fishing at a highway pond/revisor and when he casted, the ring flew off and into about 2-2.5 feet of water but got swallowed up by the sandy bottom. He and his buddy jumped in trying to find it with no luck and Brian said he would find someone with equipment to come find it. He searched via ChatGPT and it told him to go to Gold Finders where he found me!

We agreed to meet up today after I got off work.

Drove down, met him at the spot, jumped in the water and scanned around. Found three cans then BOOM his big gold ring!

HE WAS SO EXCITED!! He took to IG and recorded a video of me in the water, full gear and his ring!

Lost Oura Ring at Aulani Lagoon Ko Olina Resort… Found & Returned!!!

This ring return was triggered when I over heard on a YouTube video “Detect Florida” Shawn mentioned you can return Oura rings.  That led me to do a Google search and sure enough when I told the Oura AI Assistant that I found an Oura Ring and would like to return it.  AI asked if I could send a pic of the QR code inside the ring.  Since I had two in possession, I sent both QR Codes.  Low and behold a real person got back to me and said both were a match in their database.   Then Bridget asked if I would allow them to provide the owners with my email address and/or phone number so that they could reach out to me for a return.  Of course I agreed and the next day Dominique from Belleair, Florida contacted me.  She provided me her address and as you can see from that beautiful smile the Oura ring is back on her finger.  Aloha to Dominique!

Lost Gold Ring Recovered in Elkton, Maryland!

I received a call from Darcy earlier in the week informing me that while washing her dog outside in the yard, she immediately noticed that her ring was missing! She was certain earlier that day that the ring was on her finger and came to the reasonable conclusion that it must have come off while cleaning up the pup. She even rented a metal detector an attempted to locate it herself but became frustrated like most people do when she could not make heads or tails for the sounds she was getting from a detector. Despite her location being well over an hour drive, I agreed to make the trek because I felt certain just like Darcy that the ring had to be in that yard somewhere. Once I arrived, I immediately got to work. Darcy was very helpful showing me exactly where in the yard she was during her dogs’ bath. Because of that, I was able to locate the ring within 15 minutes! It made the long drive well worth it to see the look on Darcy’s face when I found it!

Lost Gold Pendant recovered in Reisterstown, Maryland!

I received a call from Anne informing me that while out in her front yard, she felt her necklace come loose. She was able to quickly find the chain but could not locate the pendant that was attached to it. After hours of searching the yard without success, she knew she needed help. I made plans to come out the very next morning as Anne and her husband were about to travel for several days leaving later that day. Once I arrived, Anne showed me exactly where she was in the yard when she felt the necklace come loose. I quickly got to work and within an hour was able to locate the pendant! It was face side down under dense grass, hence the reason Anne was not able to “eyeball” it during her visual search. Anne was very thankful and overjoyed when I made the find! She requested that she not be in the picture, so it is your truly showing off the recovery! I am happy I was able to get this pendant back where it belongs before Anne and her husband left for their trip!

A fun afternoon at the beach in Sea Isle City nearly ended in disappointment. A husband was enjoying the surf while throwing a football with family and friends. During one throw, his wedding band slipped from his finger and disappeared beneath the waves.

The family searched the water but had no luck. They knew the current and shifting sand could quickly hide the ring forever.

LOST GOLD WEDDING RING AT WHITE LAKE, NC….FOUND!!!

After finding the tungsten ring near Wilkesboro I received a call from the mom of this young man that he had lost his gold wedding ring at White Lake! I said I’ll be there in 3.5 hours!

Story goes he was running to catch a football and it fell off while running to catch it. He lost the ring before he caught the football. They searched and searched for hours with no luck.

I arrive at 8:00 pm, we walk to the spot and within 20-30 mins I had found his ring.

As I’ve stated, I’ll travel anywhere to help someone find their priceless items.

While out hitting swimming holes, this gentleman lost his tungsten wedding ring in shallow water when playing with his kids.

Another guy told me he had lost it and asked if I could find it. I searched the area and it took me about 10 mins to find it.
