During the summer of 2022, Aug 25th.   I was contacted by Brooks & his wife regarding a gold family heirloom wedding band that was lost somewhere in the dry sand the day before. I was available as usual so we met there later on and went over the potential areas it could be hiding.

I decided to start where they were set up on the towel line and within minutes of turning my metal detector on I got the signal I was listening for,, That’s when Brooks’s precious Gold wedding band appeared out from the beach sands and back onto his hands!! He was very relieved & thankful for my help as this was handed down through family after many decades.

During the summer of 2022 Ashlee had lost her Gold diamond studded earring at a grass park in Encinitas California. She and the kids tried fruitlessly to find it even though they knew exactly where & when it disappeared into the turf. As shown in the photos it is hard to see…like a needle in the haystack.

Fortunately,,I was able to recover this precious jewelry in less than 10 min using one of the newest metal detectors on the market that has 40khz and is very sensitive to small gold…Not to mention there was 20+ buried pieces of metal in the area that I was able to cancel out and not have to dig knowing the exact signal I needed to hear. This kind of search would of taken hours or even never of been found with out the right equipment and experience along with it.

Over the summer of 2022 I received many calls for help along with this couple on vacation visiting San Diego when this precious gold wedding band disappeared into the fluffy sands at mission bay the night before.

I hopped on the freeway immediately after talking to Jacob cause I know freshly dropped rings don’t last long hidden in the beach sands…(It’s just a matter of time before a treasure hunter beach combs that area). Within a 40 min drive & roughly 30min grid search using my metal detector,,I was able to unearth their ring just in time as they we’re heading back home that day.

If you have lost a precious ring or jewelry don’t hesitate to call,,Time will work against you. These California beaches are littered with newbie pirates & the ocean is hungry for lost treasures!

Life is a beach for me at least,,And even more so when I get a call from a stranger who needs help finding a lost precious ring on the beach. This couple was visiting my hometown Oceanside when her gold band disappeared into the fluffy sand. They sifted throughout the entire area then googled online some key words that led to my contact info.

Fortunately for them I live block up the street and was there on the beach with a metal detector quickly.  Not too long after turning on my metal detector a good signal screamed,,I reached down with just my hand,,,Opened it,,Blew the sand off And their precious ring magically reappeared…!   They were thrilled especially being the last day on vacation before heading back home.

No click bait story here!  I would never think about metal detecting for lost treasures on a restaurant’s front lawn until the day I received a call from Elizabeth. She tells me right off the bat frantically that her daughter got into a physical altercation with another high school student where this family heirloom gold coin in a bezel broke off from the necklace & disappeared into the thick grass lawn at a Carl’ jr.

When we met there I was concerned of getting trespassed on private property even though it’s along a public sidewalk,,I had to let Elizabeth know that we might not have much time before getting asked to leave. So we went over the story,Area & size of the gold coin so I knew what V.D.I #’s to discriminate with my metal detector. In less than one minute of fast scanning I received a signal that I was looking for and used just my fingers to comb through the grass with when out popped this Yellow beauty!  I could tell this was very sentimental & meant a lot to have it back in their family for generations to come.

A couple vacationing from New Zealand recently had called me for help to find a precious heirloom diamond wedding ring lost at Del Mar beach San Diego the previous day before.

Here’s  another 911/urgent call I had to arrange and show up promptly or it would not of been found by me!  This is one of the most populated or well known areas at Del Mar that gets slammed by metal detector hobbyists searching for lost treasures on a daily basis. I remember over decade ago…Us locals here use to let these beaches build up for a few days with with freshly dropped targets to hunt for but now that’s long gone!

Fortunately Ambition was on my side this morning weekend as I paused what I was doing and drove straight there to find this sentimental ring for them.    Although it wasn’t lost in a large area, It was basically buried deep in the beach sand where they finger searched for many hours to no avail. Lost jewelry is definitely inevitable to find with out proper metal detecting gear combined with the experience of someone to use them….?

This precious gold ring was lost in the beach sand at Carlsbad Ca. during this summertime of 2022.  I was called by a relative of 12-20 family members vacationing at the beach regarding of a young lady’s special ring that fell into the sand and had all spent hours searching for it to no avail…They even bought a metal detector from some nearby store with no luck either…!

Fortunately my story’s posted online of over 100 successful returns helped as I was found on google & Was able to unearth this sentimental ring in a few minutes after conducting the search,,Not to mention the measly 2 mile drive nearby!

  

The sound of Cheers,Tears, & Relief was roaring indescribably from the sands above. Words aren’t enough. This great family was already to head back home when I showed up immediately to save the day.

Here’s Another long lost precious gold ring found and returned at Oceanside harbor,California.

It’s a short yet sweet story even though I may of spent an hour total with tough parking & searching the dry sand areas where it was lost the day before. I receive many calls but this one also was beyond any scrap value for gold you can imagine.  This precious precious Gold was handed down through his family from his Grandmother!  Some things you can’t put a price tag on or even try estimating a value from losing them….Or if so….

I have found & Returned approximately over 100 million sentimental items since joining The ring finders in 2014.  “Who ya gonna call”. ?  Ring Finders!

This special lost gold ring I found & returned recently has a value that succeeds any treasure you may fathom. Throughout my career of being a ring finder member and hobbyists sluicing for placer Gold deposits in California for nearly a decade prior,, I had already found a ton of Peace & Serenity in my gold pan…Which also includes Gold nuggets & of course many~many~many types of precious old jewelry.

But not a thing I have in my treasure chest exceeds those values to me like an old copper fire extinguisher from the 1950’s that I still use as a door stop, A conventional toaster oven from the 90’s. Along with some photos of my Grandmother & Grandfather that I only have left of them for keepsakes.

This signet gold ring was very sentimental too him because it was made in the 1950’s for his Grandpa!   Try to imagine how relieved he was or how you would be wearing the same flip flops?

This is why I enjoy doing what I do. It never gets old like us.  Some other beach pirates searching for treasure don’t understand because they may not of lost enough…Or found enough!

One evening this summer I received a text late at night regarding a gold wedding band lost in waist high surf at Torrey pines beach,Ca. After a few questions and concerns we agreed to meet there first thing that Sunday in the early morning when the tide was a wee bit lower.

 

Promptly arriving to the scene of the lost ring he showed me the area at Torrey pines beach near the River mouth. My Hopes of finding it sank like a heavy gold nugget in bedrock because this is a bad place to lose a wedding ring or even conduct a search at that combined with the tide not being very low, The angry shore break @ 5-6 sec intervals and the current from the river mouth was aggressively moving sideways!     Everything about this call seemed to be going against the grain…Not to mention the $15 parking fee & $6.30 a gallon for gas these days..Yikes!

After nearly an hour of getting beat around by the surf with my Whites Dual field Metal detector,,I heard a certain crystal clear beep…Boom…There was his ring knee deep in the Pacific Ocean!

 

They were very relieved and gracious for my help. Thank you for the generous reward.
