Beautiful Gold Wedding Band Lost, Recovered and Returned in Villanova, PA!!!

  • from Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, United States)

John was throwing a football around with his son in the backyard of his Villanova, PA home when he felt and saw his wedding band fall off his finger. He was in the process of catching a ball when the ring fell off…how far could it be??? John ordered a cheap metal detector off Amazon to try to locate himself but no luck. I’ll say here that about half of the people that call looking for my help usually spend money renting or buying a cheap metal detector before calling me. It rarely works out…those cheap detectors rarely work but even more important is the experience of the operator! Anyway, John found me in the Ring Finder Directory and texted me. I arrived at John’s house the next day and after a quick reenactment of how the loss occurred I went to work scanning the yard. It wasn’t long before I got the gold ring signal I was hoping for. I bent down and used my pinpointer in the thick grass to reveal his beautiful gold band! It’s always so satisfying to be able to come through for people…I was very happy to put John’s ring back on his finger!

Beautiful Gold/Malachite Wedding Band Lost, Recovered and Returned in Philadelphia, PA!!!!

Ben was playing an intense beach volleyball match at the Drexel University courts in Philadelphia, PA when his beautiful wedding band flew off his finger. He said it flew through the air and hit his teammate closer to the net. He looked for it himself for a while but finally decided to look for a professional. He found me in the Ring Finders Directory and texted me. I told him I could be there the next morning. He texted me a satellite view of the court where he lost the ring and circled on the picture where he was standing when the ring flew off. I arrived at the courts at 10 am and began the search. After 10 minutes, and digging at least 25 coins, I finally got the gold ring signal I was looking for. After a quick search of sand and the use of my essential pin pointer…There it was!!! Found it!!! Ben’s wife, Emily, met me at the court and I was so happy to be able to give her husband’s cherished ring!!!

Wedding Band Lost, Recovered and Returned in Wayne, PA!

  • from Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, United States)

Received a call from Jeremy from Wayne, PA today. It turns out I successfully recovered his friends lost wedding band several years ago…and he was told to look me up in The Ring Finders directory. Once he tracked down my contact info he shared with me that he lost his titanium wedding band in his front or backyard while walking the dog the evening before. He spent some time looking for it himself but no luck. I met him at his home later that same day and he walked me through where he believed the ring most likely fell off while he was walking the dog. I’ve learned to prioritize search areas to maximize my success and it was clear to me it was most likely lost in front yard among tall grass and leaves. Rings on the surface have a unique signal on my metal detector so while I was registering quite a few signals they were all deep and and most likely trash. On my 3rd or 4th pass I finally got the signal I was hoping for…looked down…and I could immediately see his huge silver colored wedding band! I was very happy to be able to return Jeremy’s ring to him!
